Any news on when Barterdex will be Live and release for the people to use. Sounds very promising. A service like that could easily put some centralized exchanges out of business.

All the waiting coins are immature, need confirmations. I will not go to sleep until this is done.
I don't understand : in my browser, some blocks are not paid but mature since many blocks.(more than 130 confirmations, for example blocs 47580, 47552,47524, 47522...).

It's now ok ! I can go to sleep (07:11 am) lol

Could you add an auto donate setting to avoid hassle of manually donating, or at least add a button to donation page to auto copy to clipboard.....I'm a bit lazy and hate copying an address.

You have now a button in giveway page to copy the address to your clip board Smiley

I go to sleep a bit now, it's 08:18am still not got an hour to sleep since yesterday morning lol i work too much !  Cheesy Cheesy

Direct message me on slack or here if you have questions or suggestions.

Giveway will probably be 5 000 bitcoinz before tonight. It would be great if people mining on http://pool.perpignan.ovh could invite people. It could increase the amounts and so the number of winners.

EDIT : With recent donations, Giveaway will be 8 000 BitcoinZ ! So 8 Winners.

If a random get twice the same address, do you prefer that i retry or this person win twice ? I ask because it is possible to happen.

I would say 1 win per drawing.
I accidentally sent 2 donations but it's ok. Would be nice if more big miners would join too. Great to get the small miners but bigger miners like myself are more likely to donate to the giveaways.... So far I think I'm the only donor. Oh, and thanks for adding the button... Makes it easier for me to be lazy.

Is there any other reason for a random cryptocurrency to make its name on the top of original Bitcoin than just parasitize on Bitcoin's brand?
I can't see similarities between BitcoinZ and Bitcoin, except the total supply. On the same note, I agree with the name of Bitcoin Cash - it is a true fork of bitcoin, uses the same technology, except block size and DAA and entitled all Bitcoin holders the exact amount in Bitcoin Cash. For ideological and usability reasons, I agree to call it Bcash as well.
Please enlighten me how is BitcoinZ different from any other Equihash fork - be it ZenCash, Zclassic, Hush, Komodo, Bitcoin Gold, Minex? What makes it valuable?
I dont want to discuss about real value of those coins, but more and more coins launched with Equihash algorithm. At the point, at least they will give miners different options and spreah hashrates out a little bit from one coin to another.
I completely agree with your opinion. Everyone has their own views and perceptions, so the miners can choose their own option. If you dont accept BTCZ, you can out.

I think using bitcoin as part of the name is simply a ploy to appeal to the mindset of those who feel bitcoin is legitimate, and with so many crap coins floating around the inclusion of bitcoin in the name gives a false sense of security. I agree for those reasons, however, this project has a good set of fundamentals, is based on great technology, and a decent algo. I'm not a big fan of equihash due to the ridiculous power consumption, but its still a decent algo. I believe this coin has potential but definitely have a few doubts due to the ridiculously high amount of coins. 21 billion coins are just too much. Half that would have been plenty. However I'm mining it due to the high returns. I'm holding a percentage in case this project actually succeeds. But realistically I'd love to see anything succeed that's not bitcoin. I absolutely hate btc. Too slow,  and tx too expensive, and definitely far too centralized. I'm expecting governments to start mining bitcoin soon so they can control it. Russia already trying to control crypto through their own cryptoruble. I'm all for anything that could possibly take market share from bitcoin by providing a superior service and experience and at the same time protect us from the threat of centralization and with it the threat of goverment centralization/control and manipulation.

It doesn't matter at all. Those coins will be resent to your wallet with different receiving address. It is simply the way untraceable transactions work.

I dont think you understood my question.

I sent 1000 btcz, 1,842.646429 btcz was taken from my wallet.....if tx fee thats over 84%

I sent 60,000 btcz, 61,373.116655 btcz was taken from my wallet

If these are tx fee's, I swear I'm done here. Tx fee should never be that high

OK I dont understand it but I think your right. I havent used this wallet much but I checked my wallet address's and it looks like your right. I did not understand that the wallet creates a new receiving address every time I send outbound.....the amounts I was overcharged did come back with a new receiving address.....learn something new all the time in the crypto world....smh......and thank you for the tip.

Can anyone explain why MybitcoinZ wallet is doing this:

I Send 1000.001 btcz minus the network fee to an address. Shows it was sent, and shows the transaction as expected, but if I click on the transaction to see the details, it shows that I sent 1,842.646429

Why is it doing this?

Checked the transaction on the blockchain and it shows 2 address

1000.001 BTCZ (U)
t1dTz7CmvVZJvvVcb8FVFNKHfn6y3BTSCLN

842.64542915 BTCZ (U)
t1NDrYP3Kx4NEM59zeWEUUQvuRymuYKLxR1

The second address I never see before and did not approve in any way.....has my wallet been compromised somehow?

edit:  Looking back at the only other outgoing transaction I had, it shows the transaction amount of 60,000, but when I look at the transaction details and the blockchain I see that 1,373 btcz in addition to the 60k was sent to another unknown address.  tx id b27ce88ea17a9b4cb8a93bc6fec1d17f0b39ba397663d2d6907758b129b28814

WTF is going on here. Is the wallet misrepresenting the tx fee, and this amount I'm seeing is the true fee? thats the only logical explaination I can come up with short of my wallet being hacked.

Not sure there is any help for me, I was mining Sigt and have a wallet that for an unknown reason seems to have lost its password.

I have tried getting it unlocked for months now to no avail. Is there any possible way to get those coins back? the wallet is still functional, just cant unlock it to do anything. Cant withdraw without a password which it seems to have lost.

Are you 100% sure the password is correct?

Did you use the latest sigtnatum wallet? That contained a possible trojan.

How much was in the wallet and have you verified the balance outside of wallet.

I think so but at this point I'm assuming that either the wallet is broken or my pw isn't what I think it is? The wallet is windows qt 5.3.2. Still shows balance, tried checking my address's on block explorer but explorer seemed to be down. It's not a massive amount, just a bit over 20K, I guess I'll keep trying, I've already spent at least 5 hours with every combo of password I can think of. Been trying to learn the hashcat program possibly crack it, but not much luck yet. Lots of lost money I could have made mining something else.

ooo, interesting giveaway, i may have to throw some hash on there Cheesy
i had mainly stopped by the try figure out why this coin is staying so profitable to mine, but i do love me some bonus miner stuff...
Solid community, i guess promos like that are the reason why its so profitable to mine Cheesy
Keep it up guys! love this coin
Actually its profitable partly because whattomine has it unlisted. So many of the miners don't even have this coin on their list of coins to mine. And with that comes lower difficulty, higher coin volume and the low btc price makes it more desirable for investers which increases the earnings.  The longer it remains unlisted, the better it will be for those mining it. I havent actually bought any, just mining it...But if it drops to 15 or 20 satoshi, I'll be buying too.

POOL

Hey every one, for those who are in http://pool.perpignan.ovh/

Giveaway is now 2 000 BitcoinZ

What do your prefer ?

1 Winner of 2 000 BitcoinZ
or
2 Winners of 1 000 BitcoinZ

You are all welcome to the pool and participate.

You can DM me on Slack @ JimTriangle or MP me here or just answer by quoting.

In Decentralization we trust.

I would vote for 2 winners, with winners not allowed to win again for at least 5 or 10 drawings depending on pool hashrate.

You mean for example : a person who join on sunday just to participate ? I take the addresses every days and verify who is here and who is not.

People who are joining on sunday will not be selected for the current giveaway because it's unfair for the others.
What i can do is select the mining addresses every days, and one day mining is one more chance to be selected.

I prefer 2 winners, it's better this way IMO.

Also about the persons that would join the pool for only one day I propose the following:
- every day take the addresses and store them
- an address will have as many chances as the days he was on the pool. This means that every address has 7 chances every week. If you stay only one day, you will have 1 chance, and so on.

This sounds fair... we, the ones that stay here always we will have 7 chances.
Also you should consider hashing power.... Because some may put each rig on one address just to have more chances. Smiley

This needs a little bit of thinking to spare the odds equally and fair.

Ok i'll consider every suggestion.

you and dieselfrank seem to be on the same thinking.
Yes, I like that idea. That would allow people to participate right away and still be fair. Perhaps allow miners to elect a donation amount or percentage to go into this bonus account to increase the winnings. I would voluntarily give an extra .1 or .2 for this purpose. Personally, if I win I'll probably just forward it to a small miner anyway. With 25-30,000 per day earnings, an extra 1,000 is not that big of a deal, but to the small miners it's a big deal.

I'm trying not to assume what I think your asking, but if you want to join great, but why would we pay you to join, zero guarantees you would stay. If you're asking for a bribe.......NO, and you're not helping everyone by joining, just the network. The blocks have been flowing well, sure we would like more hashpower, but speaking for myself I'm not about to pay you to do the responsible thing.

Doge coin is a good choice for withdrawing money from crypto exchanges.

I agree but depending on the receiving end, Doge may not be an option, like gdax.

I just created an account and tried out TradeSatoshi for the first time.  I was reluctant to try it out, as a lot of people are knocking it for being such a small exchange, but I gotta say the user experience was pretty good.  I just bough a bit over 13,000 BTCZ at 27 Satoshi.

I first was going to transfer BTC into TradeSatoshi, but the transaction fee out of Exodus was stupid high.  Instead, I transferred some Zen first.  Then I had to sell it on TradeSatoshi for BTC, which I could then use to buy BTCZ with.  Then I was able to transfer the BTCZ out to my swing wallet.

All told, took about 15 minutes, with most of that waiting for the transactions to be confirmed.  Overall, everything worked exactly as it should.  If you're on the fence about using TradeSatoshi, I can say from my personal experience that it works just fine.

Wait until you want to transfer BTC out of tradesatoshi. Its rediculous. Was $20 for $120 of btc.  Sad we have to convert to other currency like LTC ,Doge, XRP just to get our money moved for a reasonable price. I honestly hate bitcoin, Worst coin on the market due to crap slow centralized network and rediculous tx fee's........Very good reasons why I like BtcZ. I really wish Sigt would have had better devs and not been destroyed by stupidity. The tx fees were great and tx times were crazy fast like 2 or 3 seconds. I miss that.

Nice decentralization - all hash power are on suprnova. Any one knows why on suprnova so quickly payout? It's about 15 minutes for btcz, but other coins need 100 confirms and >6 hours for payout. Maybe owner of suprnova want trashing btcz?

We have been trying to move hashpower away from suprnova, I myself moved a few days ago to http://pool.perpignan.ovh, which has been performing great.  But miners ultimately make the choice, not much else can be done.

Do you think if I mine with a single rx570 I can get better yield than mining in supernova? Because I'm currently mining on supernova because of not having too much hash rate so I do need a big pool to even see some constant coins coming in.

You should at least get the same average, however this pool also donates to btcz development, Also he will be doing a giveaway at least once a week as I understand it. Starting this Sunday he will randomly select a miner and give a 1000 btcZ bonus, with plans to do this daily as hashrate increases. Every little bit helps, he's good for miners like me who have high hashrate, but is really focusing on small miners like yourself....give it a shot and be patient. The payouts are not often like suprnova but make up for it with the amount when they do come, and like I said will average out over a week or so. Personally, my results have been slightly higher than I had with suprnova. This may be due to difficulty but my first 20 hours I made about 4,000 more than the previous with suprnova.

The majority of miners on this pool are small, so you will fit right in. We welcome you. Size of your miner isnt punished. Go to the site and look around, he has posted the way his pool pays and its all based on shares found, not hash rate, each block pays X, shares determine payout % of reward. The pool is very transparent in how it deals.

MybitcoinZ wallet is not operating properly, very glitchy. I keep having problems with my coins and deposits disappearing. If I keep restarting the app they reappear eventually but after a short time disappear again. This is very frustrating. I've been having this issue since the wallet gave me the error saying I needed to regenerate the wallet from local and I did that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now it loses all transaction and balance added after 19th of Nov within 2 minutes of getting it to show up. This last time I had to restart the app about 30 times for the balance to update and show correctly.

1) Backup your allet/seed/private keys.
2) Uninstall your wallet.
3) Reinstall your wallet and wait the blockchain sync

Sorry for taking over this question.

ad. 1 - couldn't find a way to get the private key out of MyBitcoinZ wallet - can you point me in the right direction?

ad. 2, 3 - I took the backup from the wallet, put it on another fresh machine, install, restore, sync, problems are still the same. Cross platform (Win, Mac) as well the same.
In your case, the issue seems to be exclusively with multi-sig.
I have no solution exept to change the wallet for another (not only a ré-install). You withdraw your funds in the new wallet : before, you have to test the multisig in this new wallet.

I downloaded the MybitcoinZ wallet on my android phone. used the private keys from desktop wallet on the mobile app. Unfortunately the mobile app is experiencing the exact same problems so it seems from the person posting above that this wallet is having some major flaws. I hate changing wallets and its getting so hard to get my balance to display properly that it would actually be difficult to get the balance transfered before it glitch's.

Whats the chance a dev could address this problem and fix it?
