the subject of your post and the link in your post are two different things altogether.
free fall is way different from a major correction.
the only reason it seems like its a free fall is because not one but many major cryptos are having a correction.
i would say you keep your calm and use this opportunity to invest more in some coins.

According to me this is a very good opportunity for people who have been hesitating to invest in bitcoin.
They should not wait any further and invest a safe and profitable amount.
I did the same,I have been waiting for this day since the year 2018 started and here it is.

According to me before investing in any Cryptos you need to make up your mind that you wouldn't take impulsive decisions.
You have to observe the value of the coin over a week and not make decisions on the value that you see on the screen at that instant.
And incase you have already made these mistakes make sure you never repeat them.
I'm not saying you should never withdraw but rather you should analyse and make a rational decision.
Whatever happens after that is not your fault,as ultimately we can't predict everything and always be correct.

According to me this is very helpful for traders who trade in a small amount.
I am saying this because due to the increase in bitcoin fees and confirmation time we small traders had no more means to trade,but ETH increased from 700 to 1200 $ in 2 weeks showing us that it is not comparable to btc but still has a lot of potential and has encouraged us to use it.

According to me thats a false statement that you ate making and giving people a wrong advice.
It is too soon for ethereum to even dream about overtaking bitcoin as the number one Cryptos currency.
Though no other coin has a potential to rival ETH for it's no. Two place.
Though btc and ETH are in a different league than the other cryptos ,ETH can still not even be compared to btc and is no where near it.

According to me the amount you want to spent depends on the altcoins you are planning to invest in and the duration for which you are going to trade.
There are people who aim for long term benefits and people who want short term.
My basic advice to you would be to start with an amount that you would be ready to loose and gain experience cause you are going to make mistakes.

according to me litecoin will be the third known after bitcoin and ethereum occupying the number 1 and 2 spots respectively.
LTC recently came into the spotlight with a very huge percentage increase and has not let down its investors from then but has stabilized itself.
so in case you are looking for something to invest in other than btc and eth go for ltc.

according to me ethereum is a very good altcoin for a lot of time and it has occupied the no. 2 spot in crypto currencies behind bitcoin.
with such increase in bitcoin value the transaction fee and confirmation time has increased and people with less investment have switched over to ethereum because it has very low transaction fee and also in the past 2 weeks its price has increased .
so my advice would be to invest more in it.

According to me the top 5 altcoins of 2018 are
1.ETH
2.ltc
3.monero
4.ripple
5.neo
I could go on with the list but had to stop on five
This list is purely based on my judgment of the potential of each altcoin and also to mention that the current value of the coin has very slight influence over my judgement
Its all about the change,how quickly it changes and how stabilised it is.

We all know that at least for the next 50 years bitcoin is going to be on top.
ETH has always been second but in recent times litecoin was predicted to take its spot but now ETH has again rose without any disadvantages unlike btc(fee and confirmation problem).
So is there going to be any competitor other than ETH for the 2nd spot?

According to me this was a very bad choice in my opinion.
Since bitcoin having transaction issues like high fee and delayed confirmation ETH has been everyone's choice,
Very fast confirmations,the fees are ridiculously low and they have been on the rise and rose by 400$ past 2 weeks
On the other hand ADA is not even close to ETH .

According to me bitcoin is something new for the whole world and people must at least have a little bit experience using it and a bit knowledge about it,because at this rate in the near future it has the potential to remove banks and the only form of online payment would be bitcoin.
Its not necessary to invest a huge amount,you could just put 50$ or so just for a bit experience.

According to me this is too much of a risk and one should never try thus unless he has multiple properties.
Let's assume that we somehow live on the streets for 2 months,how can you be so sure that the price would rise?
What if it falls?
You will be stripped.
This is too much to gamble on and a very stupid idea in my opinion.

I guess this is just happening with most of the banks in Australia.
I live in India and here we have application like zebpay and unovoin from where we link our bank account and all my profit has been due to rise of btc.
But I did not receive any warnings or news from the bank like you are saying.

If you had some money to invest in another alternative which crypto currency would it be and why do you choose that altcoin.

According to me that's not a wise thing to do.
One must never risk everything on a single shot and always keep some alternative.
In case you want to invest all your money then you can invest Upto 75% in bitcoin and the rest in ethereum,ripple.
