Yes and no.
The good thing you are doing is that you are taking the time to choose good projects with real use cases.
The thing that can work against you is you are spreading yourself too thin.
Take some time to do the math.
Let's say you invest $100 in a coin that costs .10 cents. That means you have 1000 of the coin
Lets say that coin goes to the moon with insane growth and grows 1000% in value to be worth $1000 each.
That means that you were able to turn $100 into $10,000!
That is an absolutely fantastic investment.
But, is $10,000 really all that game changing? Can you retire?
Can you even buy a brand new car with that?
So it is better to put more money in just 3 to 5 coins for maximum returns instead of spreading small amounts over a bunch of different coins.
I'm confused in your math. 1000% is an increase of 10 times. 0.1 * 10 = 1 $ each. 100 * 10 = 1000 total. Where did the 10K come from? I leave this mess.  Buy 3-5 coins or 30-50 - this is the choice of the investor. Diversification can be small or large. With a little diversification, you have a big risk, but also a lot of potential. This is an aggressive investment. But some prefer a conservative approach to investing. |

Margin trading is very risky, basically you borrow the money from the exchange who provide it.
Unless the exchange is not scam, you won't get huge profit, only the amplified loss you will get.
I read somewhere that Binance added margin trading feature on their exchange.

It's a correction. Quite a minor one, really. The drop may look huge on a 24 hours chart, but zoom out to 3 months and it is very small. Prices have risen a lot since the bottom in February. This is just a minor pullback. Nothing to be concerned about. There is no problem, and no new bottom has been created. Don't panic; this is entirely normal market behaviour. Correction is a small downtrend after an uptrend. Now this is not. BTC in consolidation within two weeks after the correction of June 26-27. I would call it consolidation with volatility between levels 10-13K. |

It seems to me that now is not the time for the buy of altcoins. If BTC updates the local maximum and continue goes to ATH, the altcoins will continue to fall vs BTC. Most likely, it is better to wait.

If you are referring to ICO projects you are seeing it because investors are putting their money in IEO projects. The improvement of the market is brought by the improvement of BTC, at least most of the effort is coming form BTC, and though some altcoins have experience some increase, but it's not enough to make the entire altcoins market more progressive again. We will continue to see this falling as long as the dominant rate of bitcoin will continue to be more than 50% and still no significant increase of money coming in in the crypto market, FOMO might be the best chance at the moment. During the FOMO 2017, almost all the projects did not give anything, except an pumped price during the rush. When this hype began, the BTC dominated 80%. Now domination is only 60%. These are other conditions. Although nothing has changed with the security of assets - all the same empty assets from which there is nothing but promises or lies. The moment you start taking decisions yourself you will make a change in your life ,some decisions will be bad and some will be good but at least you are different from those who rely on others decision. Don't invest in coins because people around you are investing in it ,I did the same in the past even when i knew that the coin doesnt make lota sense and it doesnt end well for me ,I repeat same mistakes like thrice before I really opened my eye ,I knew what's right from the start im just wasn't bold enough to do what I felt was right.
To all readers on here please try to know yourself ,listen to your heart and learn from others but don't rely on others ,sometimes you know what's best for you but you aren't just bold enough to make your own decision ,maybe because you are too scared of failure? Failure is a big part of road to success .

When selectively comparing with CMC data, the data in the screenshot above do not match. For example, LTC as of January 1 cost 30$, and on June 30th it cost 130$. An increase of 333% in dollar terms. As we can see since few days btc is mooning and alts are also going up for some 10-20%. Not every of them ofc. Now the question is what should we invest before rest of alt will moon when BTC will start to be stable/decresed like always ?
When people speculates and got profit from bitcoin, i believe their next speculation target would be alts. Alts with good fundamentals and good popularity. I dont need to name any i believe because you can see them in coinmarketcap like vechain. Yes, at first only good altcoins will attract attention. Some will make 1000000X. This will provoke FOMO, and more money will come to the market. As a result, investors will buy even shitcoins. Just all of these assets must live to this time for the next pumps . |
