61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 13, 2017, 12:41:15 AM
Are the rumors true that a few whales are jumping in this coin? Anyone has any information?

Are you trying to start these rumors just to get the value of the coin up, or do you have an actual source?

Someone saying "I heard a rumor is it true?" with no source is usually trying to be that source.  Good luck if that's what you're doing.
I read it in coinsmarket smartie. And guess what. Yenten is here to stay and pump.

You only need .03 btc to be a whale at this point. But I don’t know if there are enough coins in existance to offer enough liquidity for these buy orders. There is a buy order for 19k coins that is getting burried by more orders.

But there’s a seller who has continually offered sell orders of 200-600 ytn, so if you want coins then you can buy them.

When I started mining on miso pool it was 20 kh/s now it is 150-200 kh/s.

Antmine pool has over 1,000 workers. The amount of people who have adopted this coin has dramatically increased.

The next major milestone will be surpassing 1 mh/s.

I sent .003 btc from coinsmarkets to coinbase and only .0015 showed up.  The .0015 posted today should I keep waiting for the other half or should I contact coinbase or coinsmarkets?

Withdrawal fees of coinsmarkets perhaps ? I dont use bitcoin anymore since few month, doge and litecoin are better, and litecoin is accepted by coinbase

Coinsmarkets.com is a scam!

Wow ya just heard back from coinsmarkets.com they have a .002 bitcoin transfer fee.  This is $30!  What a scam site!  I am going to be on stocks.exchange instead for yenten.

yeah i was on stocks exchange for another coin and it worked really well.

Coinsmarket is very bad exchange, are there any plans to add Tenten to other exchange? I feel unsure about mining because of exchange. Good legitimate project = usually at least a decent exchange (like coinexchange.io)...

Your statement is not true.

1. Yenten doesn’t need a bigger exchange to grow. We can reach $10k volume without Bittrex.
2. Coinsmarkets is not a “very bad exchange”. Have you tried depositing btc and buying YTN? What’s the problem? If you need help then ask for help.
3. Traders on other exchanges will wish they were on Coinsmarkets for this stage of the project. Their loss.
4. Any exchange can add Yenten. They do not need permission. If you want an exchange to add Yenten then go talk to the exchange. We don’t run coinexchange. Nobody here runs Yenten, for that matter.
5. Coinexchange is for kids and girls. Tell me this: if coinexchange is so good, why don’t they have Yenten listed??

Someone is mining this coin with AMD RYZEN gives some feedback, thank you.

I just started mining with ryzen 1700 cpuminer 3.7.5

how much coins do you mining one day , i also have this cpu ,but i didn't know RIO ,i dont't want to hurt my cpu .
You can safely load cpu to 100 percentage.

I get about 1150 h/s. Should I bother solo mining or is difficulty too high?

Depends on how long you will be mining this coin. If a week or longer, then i think solo is still fine.

But at some point you’ll want to join a pool because you’ll only be mining 1,000 yentoshi a day and it will take a month to hit a solo block.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin that can be mine with CPU on: December 10, 2017, 02:37:42 AM
I’m a big Yenten fan atm. I don’t think it’s easy to buy right now but that’s what I would mine.

Price will grow definitely. It's best time to buy and mine now. 2018 would be differently

i don’t know. price increased from 100 sat to 220 sat, but hashrate only increased from 450 kh/s to barely 550 kh/s. if price is going to rise, it might not be for another month or two. i think we should expect some bigger sell orders soon.

so if this Yenten is the same devs from that Yenten,  then yes, the price will keep growing!  Cos these ponzi teams are very good at marketing!

There is no marketing. If you search for yenten coin you will find few results. So long this coin is in the shadow we can mine. After 2-3 years this coin will become big.

every time a hyper stake POS coin collapses (first b3, now mut) on our exchange, we seem to pick up a few disheartened souls. i've never been so happy that mining is slow, steady, and throttles the emission of yenten so these folks can't hoarde a supply. yenten is benefitting from these cult coin disasters. go figure.

I expect bringing masternodes to cryptonote won't be easy.  I think dev should take his time to do this right.  This is a very speculative investment right now, and with BTC surging, I don't expect much buying interest.  I think this is a very long-term risky hold, but if dev pulls it off, the reward could be well worth it.

This is a lot of speculation. I don't quite understand the comparison to BTC right now because all alt coins have the same dynamic.

I see this as a crypto note coin with a relatively active team behind it. My read on the situation is that they did not do any pre-mine and quickly regretted that after they released, so now they pushed back the master node announcement so they could mine for themselves a bit. Which is fine because I think they need funding. At this point, the people mining this coin for the next six months will score big. imo.

There is a strict supply of coins for this project plus the difficulty will remain low for some months to come. Imagine if you could be a part of a founder's pre-mine. Imagine if you could mine a coin before some of its most innovative features are announced. You'd jump all over that, right? But if you want to be encouraged by constantly rising prices and a healthy book of buy orders then you should go mine electroneum.

it's nutty. there are no sell orders anymore. there's one for $150 at 380 sat, but that would put yenten at 5.6 cents. and no one except for paul has enough to clear out buy orders.

i can see where this is going:
1. price rises
2. hashrates triple
3. those big new miners dump their new coins
4. price & hashrate drops
5. repeat for next 2 months

but the end result is the same each time: small miners who have a single PC will continue to mine and hodl throughout the volatility, and distribution will be pretty fair. the little guy is like the tortoise who beats the hare. frankly i don't care what happens from here on out as long as price doesn't drop below 80 sat again.

there are plans to add YTN to more Exchanges in the near future?
if this coin had a mobile miner then it would be more appealing than electroneum for mass adoption, imo.
Porting yenten minerd over to Android should be quite easy. Here's the original bitcoin minerd ported over: https://github.com/0xD34D/android_external_cpuminer
I'm no dev though, so if I would try this it'd take a while. Imagine all the old or broken phones that could be put to good use.  Grin

I would pay a bounty for that. And also a mobile wallet.

Yannic set up a new faucet: https://cryptoservices.net/en/ytn-faucet

It's a browser miner, and once you click "verify me" then you can leave the miner open and mine on your phone while you sleep.

to get listing on coinmarketcap yenten needs $10k daily volume, and it hit $2k yesterday so I imagine it will happen soon. yenten is doing that with coinsmarket exchange alone and without the need for a bigger exchange.

even the aws stuff i did was very expensive so i'm pretty confident the distribution of this coin has been more fair than any gpu coin or staking coin, and i think that will appeal to folks who are just now finding yenten.

kmc has a future, but honestly, I do not see any currency go up being only in this exchange, the fee is absurd, so some other exchange would fall well.

i feel like a good coin with a strong dev team can turn around a lousy exchange, not the other way around.

Bitzeny goes up. Difficulty increases. Some miners peel off to yenten mining.

Hold onto your hats.

Still hope this coin will stay under the radar for quit some time. Mining is still easy :-)

I would expect that the Yenten price is going to follow Bitzeny at a certain moment. Anyway wonder why the old lady (Bitzeny) is suddenly rising so fast.

guys there are orders for 124,400 yenten above 100 sat on coinsmarkets.

is anyone giving up their coins? no.

remember when we were arguing over whether or not this was a joke coin with value or not. i guess those forum posts will go down in history.

You can still solo mine this!! what monster did conan create.

What further plans and approximate terms of their implementation?  If you do nothing in the near future, the price will drop dramatically and then it will be hard to raise it.

I agree with you. Developers should constantly improve and advertise their project. If bitcoin continues to grow, then such projects will simply die. What are the plans for getting out of the drawdown?

do you expect everything in one month??

bitcoin grow up over night??

is this your first post on this thread ??
Of course not one month, but the foundation is needed.  Simply if the next 2 weeks nothing will happen, the price will fall and then it will be many times more difficult to raise.

Everything is much worse! I will recall the words of the developer - "We do not need large investors"
After such words, the coin is doomed to death. Maybe the developer and interesting to play in the "tough guy", but people want to earn.

The team needs a good PR-economist. Now she is incompetent in matters of promotion

"people want to earn" is the stuff i cringe at. why isn't that phrase the kiss of death? as far as I can tell, lots of folks took the "1k-5k" to heart and turned off their mining machines as soon as they amassed 5k coins. this is good for me because i just arrived here and difficulty has lowered from a month ago, but probably not good for the community because now the masternode operators will be run by people who mined early and immediately ran off to some high mnrank coin. imo, masternodes are the get rich scheme of the month and create price inflation early in a projects lifespan.

secretly i hope the reward is closer to 3.5% than it is to 50% like some people have insisted, and i hope masternodes costs 20k coins instead of 1k-5k. i also imagine they won't have master nodes out for another six months, and hopefully by then people will stop asking "how much do you need for a masternode?" and have more questions about specifics that effect the success of this project.

lastly, i'm stoked this is a cryptonote coin because i really believe in that technology. apparently cryptonote coins are difficult to list on exchanges, but i get the sense this dev team won't be discouraged by this.

I’m stoked to start mining this.

Can anyome explain the 21 slow start? Does it slow down emmissions early on and speed them up faster?

Also, I don’t understand what all the fuss is about masternodes. I like the idea, but why are they so immediately needed?

Hi dev. Is there any planned to make an android miner at least next year? Will be more easy for me to mine with my phone.

Yeah I'm interested in this too. Especially since Electroneum chose Cryptonight and I realized their mobile miner doesn't do any actual mining. Their app just airdrops a little bit of coin into your wallet as long as you run the app in the background.

Whereas Yenten could be mined by a phone or mini cpu rig anywhere in the world.
