Almost 2 weeks but only mining at night. Hash is around 230 H/s with 3 cores. With a decent cpu you can get 700 / 800 H/s.
I also buy coins so mining is more for fun :-)

You can safely load cpu to 100 percentage.

The big players are not mining Yenten lucky..so it's good for us.

Some investers buy from market systematically.. right now it's 2.5cents I suppose. Even if it goes 5cents you made 100 percent profit.

If you invest 100 dollar then you get 4000coin.if price goes to5cent per coin .. sell 2000 coin and keep 2k coin and you got back 100dollar.😉 .

I get about 1150 h/s. Should I bother solo mining or is difficulty too high?

I installed cpuminer-opt-3.7.4, same version on my main pc that I have been mining, on one of my dual E5-2660 v1 open compute nodes and it hashed at about ~630 H/s on 16 cores.

I'm kind of disappointed in that hash rate, given my dual E5-2667 V3 es pc hashes at about 5 times, 2700-2800 H/s, that rate with the same number of cores and only a couple hundred mhz faster in speed.

Also the E5-2667 V3 cpu's are engineering samples with a max all core turbo of 3.0 gh/z and 35 MB of L2 cache each vs a max all core turbo of 2.8 gh/z and 20 MB of L3 on the 2660 v1 cpu's but since I tried the same number of cores to mine with , 16 cores, L3 size should not matter.

I know the v3's are faster by about ~20-25 percent over the v1's just because of improvements in the newer architecture but I really was expecting at least twice the performance i'm getting on the 2660 cpu's.

So i'll tinker with it some more.

Also see a newer version of cpuminer-opt is out.

This algo is strange, I get about the same hashrate with an i3 vs. an i5 laptop (same architecture) and my new Ryzen 7 1700 only gets about 4x the hashrate of these computers. With other CPU and cryptonight coins the Ryzen 7 is about 10x faster.

Depends on how long you will be mining this coin. If a week or longer, then i think solo is still fine.

But at some point you’ll want to join a pool because you’ll only be mining 1,000 yentoshi a day and it will take a month to hit a solo block.

Coinsmarket is very bad exchange, are there any plans to add Tenten to other exchange? I feel unsure about mining because of exchange. Good legitimate project = usually at least a decent exchange (like coinexchange.io)...

Your statement is not true.

1. Yenten doesn’t need a bigger exchange to grow. We can reach $10k volume without Bittrex.
2. Coinsmarkets is not a “very bad exchange”. Have you tried depositing btc and buying YTN? What’s the problem? If you need help then ask for help.
3. Traders on other exchanges will wish they were on Coinsmarkets for this stage of the project. Their loss.
4. Any exchange can add Yenten. They do not need permission. If you want an exchange to add Yenten then go talk to the exchange. We don’t run coinexchange. Nobody here runs Yenten, for that matter.
5. Coinexchange is for kids and girls. Tell me this: if coinexchange is so good, why don’t they have Yenten listed??

Looks like a bitcoin whale got wind of yenten and they are buying up all the supply in order to do a pump and dump.  Hot potato time.

I sent .003 btc from coinsmarkets to coinbase and only .0015 showed up.  The .0015 posted today should I keep waiting for the other half or should I contact coinbase or coinsmarkets?
