I am sure that there is luck for the beginner in a gambling game, but most of them don't have luck in their first time in gambling. so base on your story, you have a big success in your first time, and you can win a lot of money.
for my first time in gambling, I don't have big luck, and although I can win the dice game, it doesn't mean my winning money is big. at least, I can get my money back so I can come back in the next day. and yes, I believe for the beginner's luck in gambling and it could happen to anybody.
I agree, i also believe in beginners luck, I've known some people who wins on their first bet of the game. I think they are just lucky enough to win in their first bet of gambling. I don't win in my 1st bet but there are still a lot of who believes in it because they've experience it. So nothing is wrong believes in beginners luck. There are a lot of people saying that controlling yourself is important, that you should treat gambling as an entertainment but I think this is the most simple way you can do to stop your gambling games more faster.
Some of the gamblers don't check their remaining balances the reason they end up being not satisfied to their gambling games and will find a way to satisfy themselves maybe by borrowing money from other gamblers which is bad thing. If you are a gambler, you should be able to check or maintain your gambling balances checked to make yourself stop right away.
Borrowing money from someone else just to fill our gambling habits means we cannot control ourselves which is a bad practice that will lead us to immediate addiction. A good sign to know when to stop is when we feel that our emotions are controlling our game rather than our common sense. I agree, I think, if a person borrow money from his/her friend just for gambling, he/she should stop to gamble. |

He will seek even the smallest profit, after making a profit even though he is small he will go home and play at a later time. I am a gambler but not a gambling addict, and I still gamble. If I have a lot of work I don't think about gambling and if there is free time I will go on vacation with my family, only then will I go to the casino to gamble. I have to control myself and know when it's time to work, for family, and to gamble.
Good for you, controlling yourself for gambling is really important to manage the rest of your life, like making the time for yourself and your family. |

I can't say how much I lost in a day. But for this year alone I would say its around 1 BTC already, playing online and on traditional casino. Damn its a lot of money, if I just invested in onto something, a well I have no regrets though.

If the "young people" in that report are the ones who depends from their parents and receives money from them (parents) and use to gamble then more likely the reason why they are addicted to it is because they don't know the value of money yet, they didn't earn it. Once they started earning and they learned that earning money is hard, they will consider slowing down on gambling or maybe take it out of their system if they don't earn enough.

McGregor should start strong with Khabib and he needs to knock him out on the first 2 rounds. if this match will go to 3rd round or more, Khabib will have a chance to win this using his wrestling skills but again that is if Khabib can get away from the heavy hands of McGregor in the first 2 rounds. Look at the fight between McGregor and Diaz, McGregor looks like he is running out of gas on the 4th to 5th round on their 2nd fight but he still managed to pull a win.
True, I think that McGregor will need to go for a standing KO, try to keep it on their feet because Khabib will dominate him on the ground. I expect that McGregor will recognize this and try to stay up, though no doubt Khabib is going to take it to the ground. Either way, McGregor can handle himself well on the ground, but I doubt he will last too long if it goes down multiple times. I'm going to predict submission by Khabib in round 3. Khabib can take it down in just 1 but you know, show business.. |

I think Lebron has already accepted that he needs to sacrifice this season for any hopes and dreams in winning the championships. Right now what he needs to focus on doing is developing the young talent they have until this season ends...
LeBron James doesn't signed a "max contract" with the Lakers to focus on developing on those young talents. He can give pointers and guide them but it's not his job so I don't see why others must expect that action by LeBron. Those young players must adjust, not LBJ will adjust to them. well.. even tough he's in good form, he is considered a veteran now. You can win in gambling is you know when to stop. You need first to set your goals. How much profit are you looking into and do you have funds to start with. Once you reached your goal, walk away. You also need to set a stop loss, its your protection against sudden change of trend and price goes down again.

This thread is actually for those who have one way or the other mentioned on this section of the forum about catching fun in online gambling so as not to get addicted, which I am sure I am not the only person who must have come across this.
I totally understand that you can at least have some fun in real life casinos since there are people around you can gist with, you can even go with friends, there are other activities you get to lay your hands on etc, which can actually divert your attention from the impulse that comes with gambling and rather focus on the fun, instead of trying to win at all cost.
However, in online gambling, I really want to hear from those who said they can have fun doing so, which to me, it is more like virtually everyone gambling online is actually in it for the money. At least, I have gambled on freebitco.in dice few times, and I was bored as (whatever you want to fill in here), with the whole martingale strategy, that I had to look for a script to use while I just kept doing some other activities. Although, I know some platforms like cryptogames have a chat system where you can converse with other gamblers, but all these to me, still does not sound like fun compared to traditional level.
Please enlighten me just in case I am missing something here or do you share the same view?
Adrenaline rush while beating the game/other people.. That's where the fun is. For me online gambling has no fun and if you want to have some fun while gambling then you should visit traditional casinos. There you can enjoy a lot. Gambling, dancing with girlfriend and drinking etc. in online gambling you will only facilitate and nothing more. No need to go outside for gambling and taking money in your pocket. Real fun is in casinos. I am also searching for some fun in online gambling but still didnt succeed, but I am sure with the passage of time I will catch fun and entertainment in online gambling. Till date people think that real fun is only in real casinos especially those who are not addicted to gambling, because they visit casinos for having fun and little bit gambling also. Both traditional and online casinos have adrenaline but some people have fun traditional casinos more maybe because of its ambience. |

I play poker too but not in the morning, I generally play it in the evening. Home is the best place to play %100 concentrated.
I can't feel playing poker in the morning but there are instances that we gambled together with my friends from night until morning. There's no place like home and online gambling seem to be the best now and you can have it on your own comfort. No particular part of the day and exact day to enjoy in gambling. You think about it too much, you can play poker anytime, if there are other players. I`m from South Europe, it`s early morning but guess what, most of the poker tables are empty now. Usually free roll tournaments have some players and if there is some tournament I play it. Because of the lack of players, in the morning I like to play dices, slots, like some brain workout, I don`t gamble with a lot of money in the morning, except in one case, if I won big last night. I think that evening and night are the best for gambling too, but I don`t care what time is it when I`m on vocation and I have free days, that change a picture a lot. When person have a lot of free time, anytime is good for gambling if you`re in favor of it. Not really think about it much but that's how my life goes when I play poker. There's really no particular day to gamble whether with poker, dice, slots or any game that we prefer as long as we love to do it. But I guess everyone has a similarity about the night gambling. Actually when you play with your friends it takes a long time, I've experienced it too a few times, it was really enjoyable. |
