Hey, maybe someone could help. i followed the steps dictated on the video to set up my masternodes. The only step i skipped was adding MN info into local conf file, cos it was stated that you shouldn't have any MN info in the solaris conf file if you were creating more than one masternode and i was creating four. However, i made sure to add the MN info in the solaris conf file that i added into the vpn as stated on the instruction.
When i woke up this morning, all the masternodes have a missing status and when i tried to restart it, it gives me an error message that my ip addresses is invalid. Am using four different ip addresses from four different companies. so am not sure what is going on. thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
The local wallet where the coins are held should have nothing in the solaris.conf file but you should have the MN info in the masternode.conf file, Also on the VPS you should have info in the solaris.conf file but not in the masternode.conf file (so opposite to local wallet). Is that how you have it?. |

I created a masternode on vps it's working fine with sentinel, but i dont understand i have to let my local wallet open otherwise i can't have an "enabled" statuts !
I try to run the masternode on my vps without my local wallet and in not working.
When i let the local wallet open, i get the reward approximately each 24h...
So what is the point to paid for a vps if i had to let my local computer online ??
I guess i have a wrong settings on my vps, ( when i check masternode status = masternode succesfully started ) and then i have each minute "running sentinel"

It sounds like you have masternode info in your desire.conf on your local computer . You don't need anything in your desire.conf if you have a VPS. Please explain what Mn 10% to POS 90%? Part of the Mn will be of POS?
That's not what it says it says 1 XLR (90% distributed to staker AND masternode - 10% available to budget system) So between them Masternodes and stakers of coins get 90% of the reward (so 0.9XLR) and the other 10% goes in the budget to be used as required. |

I downloaded the wallet, sent my coins and everything seems ok excepting that the wallet shows the message "stacking inactive". Why is showing that? Should I do anything else in order to start the stacking?

I see it is switching to proof of work soon. I don't fully understand that. Does that mean I need a lot of coins to mine it?
You are getting confused. Proof of work is what it is now and that's mining with GPUs etc. It's changing to proof of stake later down the line but that's still a fair way away. You can mine it with GPU at the moment no problem. If you want to stake with coins to earn more then you need to wait until the proof of stake phase. |

What are solaris node rewards, vs mining rewards?
In other words - from each mined block - how much is going to the miners, and how much is going to node owners? is it documented anywhere?
Is it going to change in the near future?
It's on page 1 of this thread, Almost the first thing written. [block’s 43201-151200] 20% MN (0.4 XLR) / 70% MINER (1.4 XLR) / 10% Available to the budget system (0.20 XLR) [block’s 151201-259200] 45% MN (0.9 XLR) / 45% MINER (0.9 XLR) / 10% Available to the budget system (0.2 XLR) So in 10 days or so the MN reward goes upto 0.9 XLR and the Miner down to 0.9 XLR. |

Are you talking about the upcoming 50% masternode increase in 12 days?, If so then yes if you look on the first page it says it the Miners reward is going from 1.4 down to 0.9 from block 151201-259200. If you are talking about the number of masternodes reducing the POW block reward then no. |

I'm still waiting for a reply from them when I sent a support ticket on Tuesday from when my withdrawal didn't go through with them and that was the day before the blockchain got stuck. So it could be a while. |
