61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 15, 2019, 08:46:43 PM

Doges was a great coin and being used as an additional trading pair for coins that is price under 1 sats, While waves still has more room for improvement and waves will be a great contender for the fastest blockchain next to ethereum. Their just need to fix the common misconception of other people against waves as a scammer haven blockchain due to its easy to use token making.

Not what it seem right now after TRON and EOS exist which devs see to be more efficient.

TRX is just a smart contract platform for hyips like token. i haven't seen any good project using their platform.

Tron's smart contracts are currently mainly used in gambling area. I haven't seen any use case which addresses another field. The gambling sector is relatively large, but it is not enough for the breakthrough alone. That's why the Waves approach is much better imo.

Choosing between Waves and TRX, i will stick with Waves, If only people will returned the lost confidence on the projects being launch on waves platform it would be a different story and probably waves will be on the top 10 coins in CMC,.

Until then waves need more solid project that will use their platform for their tokens.

I can't see TRX being relevant in the next 2-3 years. I can see Waves though becoming a top quality platform that will be a match to Ethereum. Perhaps there is a future for EOS though. Still Waves no.1 for me.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance hacked. How can this affect altcoin market? on: May 08, 2019, 06:49:19 AM
What is worse than Binance getting hacked are these noob statements about rolling back the chain. This shows how uneducated and ruthless these people are.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: May 06, 2019, 08:14:06 PM
So what does this mean?that those who asked for KYC is scammers and only gathering details of participants to use for their personal interest
Maybe they will use for social.media groups or for email details to gathers.money from dev who are looking for real person subscribers

What you said is always a possibility, but we can't generalize them all. At least some of the ICOs ask for genuine KYC information, as it is mandatory in those countries where they are based (South Korea is an example). But it is irritating when some campaigns never mention about the KYC in the start and then make that mandatory to receive the rewards.

This happens a lot and it is infuriating. Totally scam behaviour. Changing the rules during or after bounty means the project wanted free publicity all along, as they know not even 10% will go through the procedure. If this happens it is a major red flag and even people that are used to go through the procedure of KYC for bounties, shouldn't sent anything and better consider they lost the time/effort invested.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XVG is a scam ? on: May 06, 2019, 02:03:14 PM
Dogecoin Dark is not a scam. Why not use the real Doge instead though? Much fast, much cheap!
Well XVG is cheap and fast too, but still if I remember correctly it was 51% attacked twice a year ago Undecided.
So why you should trust this chain when trust shouldn't supposed to be needed in the first place?
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: May 06, 2019, 01:59:25 PM
I avoid any project asking for ID's passports, photos and other documents. The only reason they do KYC is to sell the information. Nothing else.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: the increase in the price of bitcoin is getting better. on: May 03, 2019, 05:44:22 PM
Pumping bitcoin with Tethers and all gang thinks adoption is on its way and next bull run started. Bitfinex already pumped to 6.150 with another fakeout. If they keep pumping at this point results will be horrible and most of you will end up spenting your 30-40 Bitcoins left from your Silk Road days once again for a few grams of grass. It seems finex will keep pumping though as they want to form a huge buy wall to dump the bitcoin they bought with air-dollars.
It is sad that I initially thought most people in crypto are intelligent and educated. but all these people are millionairs now half of them sold in 2013 and the rest in 2017. All that is left are moonboys thinking bitcoin will pump to 500K and they don't need to work anymore. If you all had a single braincell you would have let it dip to 1K by now and bought where it was supposed to go. What exactly can you buy now with minimum risk and become rich? You just think trillions will flow in shitcoins and bitcoin for no reason. You have to wake up at some point.

Not that I care much. Still being cautious with my investements.

Are the exchange that Manna is listed safe? Are there plans for other exchange?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀⭕️🚀[BOUNTY] Platonfinance : Listed on DigiFinex and other exchanges.⭕️ on: April 29, 2019, 11:42:27 AM
WARNING Platon Finance advertised an airdrop and delayed paying it, usually by blocking everyone asking on telegram and attacking personally people asking for the reward they promised. in the end they said they did the airdrop already and started threatening people on their telegram. SCAM AIRDROP. Why should they not scam bounty and find any silly excuse not to pay. It is obvious from the person they have in telegram that this is a high risk bounty.
70  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Have you actually used bitcoin for any payment in your country? on: April 28, 2019, 03:19:54 PM
I haven't and to be fair I wouldn't for the time being. Paying my bills using e-banking has no fees in my country. If you are asking about paying for groceries on point of sales I also use my debit cards, as again as a consumer I get charged 0 transaction fees (the bank fees are charged on the merchant). So even if the fees are 30cents it wouldn't be economical wise to pay for these. Now lets say per month I use my debit cards 100 times on average. This sums to 30 bucks on fees every month if I was using bitcoin transactions. Instead using debit cards all fees are paid by the merchant side. Also 99.99% of transactions are instant. What we told people that transactions using bitcoin were instant and feeless was a lie after some time. Perhaps it was like this in the beginning but this changed a lot. Especially in the end of 2017 when we had a million pending transactions and 50$ fees. Probably things will change with the use of lightning network but for the time being, looking at the best options you have for payments, these are ebanking and debit cards.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: April 25, 2019, 03:44:12 PM
KYC is not that tough and worth it 25$, its a good way to make crypto regulate because they will know then which wallet belongs to who.
by my point of view there should a one website or company who will do kyc and other companies who needs kyc should touch with them and the problem of doing kyc in every project again and again separately will solve
It is only true if KYCs required by big sites, like Coinbase, Blockchain because their security system for their customers' identities are very good, hence the probablity to see data leaks from such big sites are very very low. Therefore, their customers, and who join airdrops, give-aways on big sites with KYC requirements can be guarenteed with their identities. It will become a totally different stories with KYC on small sites, or just not highly trusted sites. Someone who need money and readily to take risks on small sites with their identitites can accept rules on KYCs and get free money, simultaneously with potential leaks of their identities to bad guys.

I completely agree. Basically I avoid KYC procedures as much as possible. Only did them when it was completely necessary. Be certain that 99,99% of the documents submited have already been leaked and are up for sale. Don't do KYC to get airdrops guys. First of all there are persons that hold a large number of documents and personal info, that abuse the KYC procedures of any project doing airdrops. You think these companies don't know that scammers abuse their procedures with stolen KYC documents? Of course they do but they don't care. You think blockchain.com hasn't made already a few of these scammers rich? Of course they did. They just don't care about that. They want to fish the rest out and make a large database with information about you. A large database of people asking for free money. Where is blockchain.com based? Luxembourg. The heart of the EU. So it is obvious the EU wants your information stored in their database. They want to categorize their citizens that use cryptocurrencies for their own reasons. My guess they find the technology a possible threat to the shady business the EU is overun with. With blockchain it is harder to cover the tracks of all the big money they move overseas, to Panama,Caymans and off-shore accounts. Centralized banking is used for this and their EU base is Luxembourg.

Concerning the Vostok airdrop, it is better to hold WCT than Waves? I mean you get 1/1 Vostok with WCT as well, am I right?

Hi.  So you are saying b/c i kept waves in my lite client and not that client, i dont receive any of those things you mentioned?  How long has those been given out?  I only used the lite client the entire time.

Allow me to make this clear. Waves keeper is not another wallet or client. It is a chrome extension like Ethereum's Metamask, (only way better). You don't need to move your waves from the waves platform client, or create new wallet.
You can easily use your password and keys from your client to login to your existing wallet with Waves Keeper extension and then use Waves Keeper to sent waves where you want or just login to the vostok airdrop page to be eligible for the 2nd Vostok round. It won't be hard for you even if you never used metamask.
Waves keeper is more user friendly and it's like Metamask 2.0 imo. Basically whatever Waves is creating is more advanced and user friendly than anything available right now.
You can download Waves Keeper from their website, first tab.

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 11, 2019, 08:05:48 PM
Recently we announced the second phase of the Vostok airdrop.
To participate in this phase you need to log in using Waves Keeper or send 0.0001 $WAVES to a special address.
Details are here: https://vostok.wavesplatform.com

Thank you, finally the desired information Smiley  I have transferred the 0.0001 Waves. Is there a way to check if everything worked out?

yes, in waves explorer of the special address, you can look for your wallet address.

already 1,732 transfers.

From instructions at https://vostok.wavesplatform.com/ you are saying this:
To participate in the second phase, you will need to log in using Waves Keeper on this page, "or" send 0.0001 WAVES to this address.

So no need to sent waves if we just login with waves keeper on the page?

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 11, 2019, 12:55:17 PM
"Your reward will be the same, whether your balance is 2 WAVES, 2 WCT, or 1 WAVES + 1 WCT."

It seems if I read correctly that for phase 1 and 2 of the Vostok airdrop, you get the same amount of Vostok airdrop for either holding Waves or WCT at any amount. Price of WCT should be climbing then?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] FLETA | Gateway to ERC20-compatible, Personalized, Gas-free Blockchain on: April 10, 2019, 02:50:44 PM
If I remember correctly you asked for KYC to distribute the airdrop without demanding it from the beginning. No information again for bounty. What is it this time? You will ask for KYC or you leave it open for question?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TOKENSALE] - Ink [INK] - Blockchain Ecosystem for Creative Industry on: April 09, 2019, 11:26:32 AM
is this on ethereum blockchain or not?

INK changed it's blockchain to Ethereum and have an ERC20 token since May 2018. It was built on Qtum and their token was QRC20 before that.
