Yes, it works with Java8, mine is working with jre1.8.0_31.
@lcharles123, send me your account ID and I will send you 20 NAS for testing the blockchain and the network.
I also think that the port should be different than the one of NXT ... but it was the developer, he diappeared ... I think it was on his TODO list, because the README file and other files are also not changed from NXT.

Happy New Year to you, c4shm3n, and all Cloackcoin holders.

I think that the only way that Cloakcoin can recover is that c4shm3n liberates all the code and internal documentation, so that Cloakcoin becomes fully Open Source.

Just an idea for continuing the developing of NAS:
it is not strictly necessary to have the source code for the NAS coin client to rebirth and evolve. The only necessary thing is to build (again) a coin software, derived directly from NXT, but using the same blockchain and addresses as NAS. After that basic client, developers can implement again the other good features. We have a quasi-perfect specification for the new NAS client, that is the actual NAS client.
I mean, if there is one or more good developers who believe on the ideas of NAS coin, it is possible to develop a clone of the actual software which reads and writes to the same blockchain. The first thing is a clone of NXT that use the NAS blockchain, with the same addresses, assets, aliases, etc. After that, it will be possible to develop "dice", "chat", and the other NAS specific features, trying to be compatible with the original client.

NAS has been included on BTC38 exchange, this is good news!

It's a shame there are so many greedy people in the world. People who fight, scam, steal, etc. are missing the big picture. It's about cryptos vs. fiat. If Satoshi was still around, he would be disappointed at the current state of cryptocurrency. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I don't agree, it is not about cryptos vs. fiat, it is about freedom vs. governments impositions. Only the cryptocoins and services that are able to work fine without needing protection from governments (police, judges, jail, ...) despite people who tries to fight, scam, steal, etc. will survive. You are missing the big picture.

We are at a very interesting point: price is about half the maximum, and touching the base line of upward channel (logarithmic). Perhaps the price correction is enough, it is a good technical point for a minimum. Strong support a bit lower, at about 0.00139 BTC/CLOAK (139 kSAT). ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FeqiSy1r.png&t=663&c=mZi5cM_vAq-2IQ)

Scamcoins are not so bad, only the fools are fooled. Ecosystem with natural selection.

CLOAK - thank you very much for giving me such great profit. Today I sold my last coins and I am happy to walk away with nice profit. I am not saying that CLOAK won't grow, because it might, since it has great development, but I don't want to get greedy and of course biggest price spikes are already behind is. Thank you very much, this is a great community!
I am moving to other coins that are not yet listed on Mintpal for more profits, so maybe see you there! (My bet is on VOOT and SUPERCOIN - they are not yet on Mintpal and have great community behind).
VOOT IS BIG SCAM!!!Why Poloniex Has Rejected SuperCoin

If you feel that you are drawn into this, enter with the FULL REALIZATION that you are entering a ponzi hoping to get out of the pyramid while it is still sucking in suckers. And of course never ever pay them money you can't afford to lose.
I agree, that was my point. I realized that it was a Ponzi, so I realized that investment could only be worth at the very beginning. No hope of earnings now, but at least I recovered (really I lost very few).

I've got 48 payments!, in three whole days instead of 2, but I am very near to my point of zero risk :-)
8 payments in the last 24 hours, not the promised, but not bad. Waiting 52 more payments (not this week, I'm afraid).
|
|
|
Because of how much it has to pay I give this one less than 12 hours before it dies. It had a good run.
A good Ponzi scheme should work very fine while it is attracting clients, then it would stop suddenly after catching up the maximum of clients and money, in order to maximize benefits for that investment of technical development, advertising and work. That is the way I thought about this site, and that is why I think that the slow payments are just real technical problems, it has no sense for a Ponzi to slow payments, as it would slow trust and it would slow people sending money. And that is why I thought that it was a good opportunity for early adopters; Ponzis need enough initial time and enough satisfied people for gaining trust and clients. The later you enter, the greater your risk.

During The last 18 hours i've only got 6 payments tho..
8 payments during the last 24 hours! Last payment was more than 2:30 hours ago :-( Until yesterday at this time, payments was going on hourly on average. From that point they become less and less.

"I can promise this: the launch date will be announced before the end of January." (Gatra, January 19, 2014)
"Launches at 20:00 UTC on Tuesday, Feb 11th, 2014" (Gatra, February 03, 2014)
Will the announced date and time of launch be of simmilar accuracy as the announcement of the announcement? (Thank you for your work, keep on, I like your ideas and I know that it is not easy to get everything in the ideal way.)

I have a total of about 7 CPD (HP11) crunching. Since about a month ago I'm experiencing much, much lower blockrate. Currently it's about one block per 2-3 days. Wondering who finds all those blocks?
Also I noticed (since day 0) that my machines often find a few blocks in a row (over 1-3 days) and then find nothing for days/weeks. I even had 3 blocks within a few hours a few times. Can anybody confirm, that it is more likely to find a block when a block has been found in the past hours? I can't believe this is pure luck.
Yes. They come in groups. It's not totally random. There are hidden parameters that are not well understood. In the hidden parameter space there is tide of "luck". I can only guess the parameters are related to network speed, performance of the whole network, and the condition of your peers who are network neighbors at the moment. Very interesting.

I received the PM from Jozzaboy. I installed the client and run it few minutes until I found this thread ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) . Thank you. Make sure to run Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyWare immediately! You installed a keylogger. Thank you! I've just installed and run both. SUPERAntiSpyware just found 98 adware tracking cookies (I think not a big threat). Malwarebytes found: 1 PUP.Optional.QuickShare.A, 3 PUP.Optional.Iminent.A, 8 PUP.Optional.Tarma.A. I don't know if any of them could be a keylogger, but at least I cleaned my system. Don't use shitware, use a real AV. Free CureIt! utility, for example: http://freedrweb.com/cureit/?lng=enWell, FreeCureIt didn't found any bad thing on my system, I hope that it is clean now. I hope that there was not a keylogger. Dresdenreader, are you sure that there was a keylogger included on the fake Novacoin client?, perhaps MS Security Essentials or my firewall stopped it? By the way, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is blocking some PPcoin wallet communications (original wallet). The excess of safety is unsafe.
