The space is already crowded with the sound projects that offer masternodes, ASIC resistance, speed and security to transaction, and no matter how impossible it seems you should try the next one on the assumption that it will allow to earn a decent income quickly.
You can lose money, or you can lose opportunities. And the last one hurts way harder. |

In 6 blocks the diff will be back. Just burnt a bunch of hash on the stuck chain. Has the difficulty retarget been changed? What is going to stop the chain from getting stuck again? It will go DGW at block 15200 with retarget on every block. |

When will information about Masternode set up be available ? It was announced today but already interest in huge which is visible from the number creation of pages. I will be watching at first price of token to see when will be best time to accumulate 1000 for masternode.

Hah for real? 12 GH already, more than 200 blocks. Seems dev had a nice time telling friends to mine before the announcement was even made. Right now mining the 1000 needed for masternode would cost anywhere between 0.7-1btc and with more sheep flocking in, it will be more very fast. Great 'fair' launch...

So, a few days ago I forked Vivo coin for fun.
I edited the name to something random (somecoin), I deleted the checkpoints, the merkle root, the genesis hash.
I compile with ./autogen.sh then I do the ./configure then make.
After that i get the daemon, the -qt file and the -cli file.
I run the daemon and get the error: somecoind: chainparams.cpp:127: CMainParams::CMainParams(): Assertion `consensus.hashGenesisBlock == uint256S("0x")' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)
But the .somecoin folder is empty. I do the ls -a and there are no hidden files in the folder.
