I bought Verge when it was 0.08$. But recent hype related to secret partnershit did not turn out to be a success as the price went down immediately following the official annoucement of the partnership. Now, I lost in BTC value around 30% as the price did not get to my sell order. Therefore, the question to pro traders, should I hold or get rid of that s’coin? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone here have an opinion of altoins that are under $1 that are worth investing? Because the lower it is, the more X amount you can.
For example if a coin is 10 cents and say you buy 10000 of them, thats 1000 USD. If this coin goes up to 1 dollar, that is 10x your money or 10000. Now if it goes up to 10 dollars, that would be 100x.
The thing is if you get a coin for 10 cents, how much can you really lose? Because no coin goes to 0 right? I mean it might go down to 0.002 etc if it does? But if it goes from 10 cents to 15 cents, thats 50 percent your investment which is huge. The thing is people say invest in bitcoin. But the issue is look at the price. Its around 4000 usd for a btc. Let say you buy 1 btc. If it goes up to 5000 usd, yes you make 1000 usd. But if a coin is 10 cents and you buy say 50000 of them for 5000, well it going up to 12 cents would make you the same money as compared with btc.
How many coins has went all the way down to say 0.01 or less that was at 1 dollar at one point?
How many coins has went from less than say 25 cents or less and at least doubled VS dropped more than 1/2 the price? That is what im very curious at. Now if a coin is at 0.002 etc and stays around there thats not much about it. But it seems like coins under 1 dollar that shows potential if you look at the chart seems like a good idea? Since there is so much you could make? For example if there is a coin that is 10 cents and people talk good about it... that seems like a better idea than buying btc right for say 5k? Like i think it would be better to buy 50000 of a coin at 10 cent than 5000 usd worth of btc. Because that coin only has to increase 2 cents compared to btc increasing 1000 usd though someone here says thats not how you should look at it etc.
But thoughts on what coins under 1 dollar is good? The thing is if a coin is less than 10 cents, that could mean a potential for a lot of money. Like a coin being 10 cents and it going up to 25 cents would be pretty huge if you bought like 100000 of it etc.
i am want to selct 1 alt coin under 1$ i will buy GNT (golem) it is trustable and can growth to 3$ in 2018. there are other coins like it but i perfer GNT for 2018 |

I'm creating this topic so I could get opinions/insights about INS Ecosystem. This coin has a great potential in terms of their concept and hardworking developers. They're following on what it is on their roadmap. However, I've seen a lot of people in their telegram complaining regarding the marketing, news and other stuffs. With the current state of BTC which is upwards now, will INS follow the trend?
They've changed their airdrop rules wherein all buyers in different exchanges can transfer their coins into their wallet to get an airdrop. Is it a good decision?
What do you think the price/value by Q3 and Q4 (launching of their platform)?

I see a lot of people on here want to 100x a coin meanwhile they don't even understand what a market cap is and even when they do they still don't compare it to other coins and they think these coins can suddenly be top 5 in market cap. I calculate the main prices of ETH and also BTC price regarding the mining process and costs. miners are the main people that affect the price of BTC and ETH. if the prices of coins will below the mining costs, the mining will not affordable. in general, if we consider the average prices of mining in all of the world, we conclude that the lowest prices of BTC is about 6000 to 7000$. and this amount for ETH is about 400$. so if ETH decreases more than 400$, the mining of ETH will not affordable and miners will migrate to other alts. so this migration will cause stopping the mining of BTC and ETH and also will cause the price of the transaction. in long-term, this causes the raising of the price for ETH and BTC.
i call this question again because ETH has good news what are you think can we see 1500$ this month? or even 1200$ for ETH? |

about 3 months, there has been a lot of fluctuation causing the price of ETH to drop dramatically. At this time Should hold ETH ?
