61  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] - Large quantity of mining gear on: April 10, 2018, 02:59:35 PM
I am in search of both ASICs and GPUS.

Not looking to piecemeal stuff together.....I like to buy in bulk.

ASICS:  looking for S9, L3+, Avalon 8

GPUs:  RX470, 1070, as well as full rack mount miners.

If you have substantial amounts of the above, and are interested in cashing out, lets talk.

Hi Yochdog, this is Charlie with Coinminer. We can get bulk quantities of new GPU and ASICs. Also, we have a rack mountable GPU rig. I will send you a PM, thanks
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: April 09, 2018, 09:41:49 PM
Yeah still purchase portions at the dips. But mine has been my godsend when it comes to this current slump. That constant income has long paid off the initial investment. Still doesn't keep me from picking up bits and pieces when it spikes down.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: April 09, 2018, 03:36:27 PM
hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?

I don't see the harm in teaching a kid about Bitcoin..but make it fun! I wouldn't recommend going into the deep block chain technology until the questions arise, but you can totally make a trading game out of it. Watch the graph and making a paper trading game out of it. You could even include rewards for positive trades in the form of toys and gifts. Showing how patience and good calls pays off. Cheesy Now I want to do this with myself.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving. on: April 06, 2018, 05:54:03 PM
How about only earning Bitcoin and not using them?
I think the price of Bitcoin will gain much more value.
So if we keep it as our asset we will be much rich in the future...hehe...whats your opinion about this?

Mining Bitcoin is still profitable and has been, picking up miners while they are currently cheap and it is a buyers market. Mine it while the difficulty is where it's at. Once BTC climbs again, you won't regret have it trickling in on a daily basis.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned cryptocurrencies Ads on: March 27, 2018, 04:59:39 PM
Google, Facebook, Snapchat, now Twitter. However I don't see this being a problem for crypto currencies in general. The best advertisements will come from news reports and documentaries. People will have to seek the information, unfortunately it won't be blasted into social media feeds anyone.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest misconception of Cryptocurrency in your country? on: March 23, 2018, 05:57:41 PM
Its common to hear that Bitcoin isn't backed by anything besides a concept and isn't going to last through the year. I hear it repeatedly when I run into people that don't know anything about Bitcoin. But unfortunately for them, they are missing out on a great investment opportunity.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at 2600$, is it possible !!!! on: March 23, 2018, 04:14:37 PM
Anything is possible in a volatile market. However I feel it is very unlikely in the very near future. If it does, it will correct itself and rise again. What would initially look like a crash would attract many many people and bounce right back.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How dare ETH to scramble for position with BTC? on: March 22, 2018, 07:49:38 PM
ETH may become the "Bitcoin" of Smart Contracts...as in the top dog, but I don't see it becoming the "second" bitcoin per say. They are two different uses of crypto currencies and even though it may become as profitable as bitcoin at some point, the usage prevents it from becoming a second to bitcoin.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin digital gold? on: March 22, 2018, 06:25:51 PM
As for value concern yes bitcoin is a digital gold but in application both are different.

Both differs in many terms bitcoin and gold are two completely different entities and cannot be compared with each other as bitcoin is very volatile and can be highly profitable on the other hand gold is very reliable but less profitable and bitcoin has to be very stable to.be considered as online gold.

I agree with this statement. You can term Bitcoin as the "gold" of crypto currencies. But that is only due to it being a standard. However unlike gold it is very volatile. The gold standard is a very concrete standard with little fluctuation. While the BTC "gold" standard can jump thousands of dollars within an hour.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Snapchat Confirms It’s Banned ICO Ads on: March 21, 2018, 05:37:56 PM
I'm not very surprised by this news. Once facebook dumped it, the other social media platforms will be quick to follow. Snapchat has been on the downhill since it's last major update. I would have thought that they would be holding onto what ever they could to make money via ads.... but they just keep following in step with everyone else.

72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: March 20, 2018, 05:35:31 PM
Not only is Bitcoin's use as a currency changing the world, but the blockchain technology that comes with it. Blockchain technology will offer security that we haven't had in previous decades. Really excited to see it be implemented in daily life.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: March 19, 2018, 09:48:47 PM
No one country will kill bitcoin. Only a more efficiently widely used coin will topple the giant. It is possible, but will take time and it wouldn't be any single country's policies that does so.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC be a major in college? on: March 19, 2018, 06:09:32 PM
I don't believe it will be a major, but cryptocurrencies should have a collegiate level course. Both at a financial level and a blockchain level. Introducing this information at a high school and collegiate level will push the technology even farther. The generations after us are the future, and the earlier they are informed, the faster we can push things forward.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 05:35:38 PM
Purchase responsibly. Watch the market for a couple of days and see the low points. Set your preferred low point and once it reaches it, pull the trigger. You're in it for the long term.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 16, 2018, 09:43:54 PM
When it comes to advertising, I think it would be difficult to fund a commercial per say... However the best advertisement is through tv show hosts, news stories, mentions in tv shows, things like that. That. will reach the masses.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: March 16, 2018, 07:23:26 PM
Is it better to get BTC via mining or buying now?

It was no longer profitable early this year for mining. However, with the recent price surge, does mining becomes profitable now?

If yes, any suggestion? There are quite many cloud miner in the market.

Thanks.

Honestly it varies on what your initial investments allow because both are great at this time. Now is the best time to buy coin because it's so low. It's a great time to buy a miner because miners are cheap currently. When BTC skyrocketed to 15-20k miners tripled in price. So if you are looking for a longterm investment and can afford a miner, buy a miner. If you don't have as much to invest at this time, day trade.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 09:35:19 PM
Absolutely. Bitcoin needed blockchain to be as secure as it is. However Blockchain doesn't need Bitcoin to exist. Blockchain technology has been implemented into our society and we are just seeing the crest of the wave that is its use. Once it is experimented with on a mainstream level within our society we will truly see the power of the blockchain.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: March 14, 2018, 07:46:13 PM
always invest small portions at this point. Join team HODL and hold on through the hard times. It will raise again, but this is the current time to buy and ignore it for a month or two. Day traders are sweating it out, but HODL is staying strong through this storm.
