61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: February 20, 2018, 03:29:45 PM
Personally, i think the answer is no. If we want to end the world poverty i think the government has that kind of power then we the very people involved. The government must alter current laws and such. People need to work smart and work hard to depart from the poverty line. Cryptocurrencies cant end it but it offers opportunities for people to cope up and earn money but its not enough i think.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 20, 2018, 03:25:11 PM
Well, there is no way we will not love it. It is free and you will just have to wait for you to receive something. But not all airdrop really drops free tokens but it doesnt matter since it is free. I already received some tokens waiting to be exchanged. Smiley Im recommending this one since it has the potential. You know the drill of joining in airdrops right? Need to join in the channel too to qualify.

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to kill Bitcoin? on: February 18, 2018, 06:44:40 AM
It can survive as long as there are three nodes mining. And i think that whatever you do to stop it, even if the government ban it, it will still function as it is, it will just slow down but it will never stop. And why would you want to kill it? I think it is the currency of the future. It offers a lot of opportunity to earn for everyone.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: February 15, 2018, 10:41:58 AM
Yes especially when they are promising and offers great opportunities here in this community. It helps a lot of people to study this new trend and to earn money. Also, oit allows people to learn this kind of currency now that it has the capability to become part of our daily lives.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Where you see a Crash, I see a Fire Sale! on: February 15, 2018, 10:35:19 AM
Oh my gosh! Bitcoin is crashing! - Who has not heard that in the last few weeks?

Well, I am the "Glass is half-full" kinda guy. I see a Fire Sale of bitcoins, where they see a crash. Since December the price went down with almost 60% <Most people are dumping coins left, right and centre and everyone is running for the hills... The end of the world is coming!

Not me. ^smile^

I am like a kid in a Candy Store. If I had enough money, I would have bought all the sweets at the Fire Sale! ... not just that, I would have bought the shop, closed the doors and kept all the sweeties for myself.

Unfortunately, my funds are limited and I can only afford to buy the sweetest candy as my fiat income is paid weekly. <Yes, believe it or not, some of us still have to work to pay the bills>

A lot of people said, "I missed the boat, because I did not buy early enough." Well NOW is your chance. Get it whilst it is still HOT!

DO NOT buy on credit! Buy responsibly, like I do. Pay those bills, skip a few Mc Donald hamburgers and buy some bitcoins!

                                                           !!!See you at $20,000!!!

yep that is right. That is the problem of people who dont fully understand crypto. I am not saying im an expert but i know that if their prices dropped, iit does not necessarily mean that if going down permanently. You have to understand that these fluctuations are normal. No need for panic selling and such. We must change our mindsets to buy when the price dropped so we can hold more when it starts going up again
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: forgot password wallet. on: February 15, 2018, 10:26:59 AM
You shpuld always write it on something so incase you forgot it you can recover it. Its going to be very hard to recover it and you will likely lose what you have in that account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

try going into that link, it might help you to recover it. And next time please write onto something, or use password that you can never forget.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: February 15, 2018, 10:13:12 AM
Bitcoin is the godfather of all other cryptocurrencies and I personally think that no other coins can replace it as of now. Yes there are coins that offers and shows potential to rise but i think it will happen just in the future. To answer your question about ending of bitcoin, I think it will never be stopped. Yes its value will rise and fall, like hard dive of value but in the end it will get higher again. Its just my opinion and I believe that cryptocurrencies will be the trend in the years to come.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Cryptocurrencies are Changing the IT Industry on: February 13, 2018, 02:50:47 AM
You are right. As the community of cryptocurrency holders grow, more and more people would want additional security for what they hold. Since cryptos are digital currencies, IT and other computer-related expertise will also grow. Developing applications and Softwares that will add another layer of security will be the new hype as more and more people enter the market. But cryptos are still developing and we do not have the full grasp of what changes it would bring to us in the foreseeable future so I think it's not just the IT industry will benefit from this new trend, i think.
69  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Starting to learn a new job in bitcoin forum on: February 12, 2018, 03:09:26 AM
Well, about translations, it will be hard for new members like yourself to get or to reserved projects because most of them look for translators who have experience and have proof of it such as in portfolio. Maybe as a newbie start by joining a signature campaign. If you are looking for a legit campaign, before joining in a certain project make sure that you read its background, read about its goals and objectives that will help you see if it has the potential to be successful. Goodluck and welcome in this community.
70  Other / Meta / Re: Question about Merit on: February 11, 2018, 04:17:36 PM
I'm not sure about that, but i think it's okay if you want to ask for merit?
I read the thread about merit before, and if i'm correct, what's not allowed is to sell merit.
So i'm pretty sure asking is allowed, although i don't know if it's also stated in the post. I don't know if i miss the part or what.
But if you want to be merited, there are people who give a kind of service where they review your post and they will decide whether it's worthy for them to merit or not. I found one in the economy > service. Maybe you can try and look it.

I will! Thank you for sharing your personal opinion on this subject matter.
71  Other / Meta / Re: Question about Merit on: February 11, 2018, 04:03:24 PM
Well merit is supposed to be something that's natural.. thus asking for it.. would offend the mere reason for which it was created.
Thus I do think that's it's a little bit wrong...but.. you know ..there is a side to everything..
Asking like... " Hey .. please give me merit " would be like begging.
But.. stating... " Hey if you loved the post please give me a merit.. and if not please state your opinions about how can I improve this "
I don't think how.. the latter one could offend anyone..
It's okay to ask.. but ask in the right manner.. 😄

That. is. a. very. nice. idea. Thats very clever. It is really just a matter of how you would approach something, right? I might use this in the foreseeable future so dont get surprised, also thank you for sharing your personal opinion about this, it helped me a lot.
72  Other / Meta / Re: Question about Merit on: February 11, 2018, 04:00:43 PM
You will most likely get red trust if you beg.
But as for the official rules of the forum, all I can give you is this quote from theymos in his merit system announcement

Do not beg for merit excessively.

So you will likely not get banned, but you will very likely have red trust, which is very bad as well.

that is exactly what im thinking. Thats is the very I started this thread, before doing something i might regret later. Its better to stay on this rank than to have red trust. So yeah, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Cheesy
73  Other / Meta / Re: Question about Merit on: February 11, 2018, 03:58:24 PM
I know you may ask somebody to merit your post however, merit system was a bigdeal to rank up. And there are more people who gave merit conditionally. I think if you want to rank up. You must have a quality post.

i think its still a hit or miss situation. Even if you do have quality post, people dont go often give merit just because of having quality post. Some keep it to themselves to use it for later exchange of another merit, in other terms, give and take. But I also believe that merit system will be a big help improving this community and people will be encouraged to do more research and reading before posting.
74  Other / Meta / Re: Question about Merit on: February 11, 2018, 03:51:29 PM
You can visit the Meta section of this forum, there is a lot of discussion about merit there.

Theymos has said “excessive” begging for merit is not recommended ... but has left the door open to occasionally asking.... at least, that is my take on how the conversations have gone.

Also, just as an aside, I personally would not give merit to post that asks for merit ... I think quality is something the readers should notice and send.  When you are consistently asking for merit, it gives the impression you may be an account farmer who only cares about ranking up ...

I mean, we all want to rank up, but the purpose of merit is making quality posts to earn ranking up.

Hey, Thank you for sharing about the thread discussing merit. Anyway, I still consider myself as a newbie and there are a lot of things that I don't know. Also, that is my thought about merit too, improving the quality of posts in this community. Thank youuu  Grin
75  Other / Meta / Question about Merit on: February 11, 2018, 03:09:35 PM
Is it not allowed to ask for merit at the end of your every post? Like posting reply to a topic then adding "Can you give merit to this?" at the end of your answer?  I asked because I want to rank up. Thanks guys  Cry
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: February 11, 2018, 03:00:54 PM
I dont think such thing exists in cryptocurrencies. There are many coins availbale in the market, and one thing you should do before buying them is the background of their project. What is the goal of the project? What it is based on? What problems it will encounter? Does it have the ability to be successful based on what it is now? these coins can be worthy depending on the number of investors who are willing to fund the project otherwise it will be all for nothing and  worthless.

Wow! Isang magandang project. Mataas ang bigay ng stakes kesa sa iba. Sana ay marami pa ang makapansin ng potential nito at ito ay magtagumpay.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Question for all on: January 23, 2018, 10:27:57 AM
For security purposes, i will not most likely to hold 100btc in one account. Ill spread it to different accounts in case of being hacked or something. Also not to lost it all when what you are saying happens. And to answer your question, ill probably return it to the address who mistakenly  sent it. I know how hard it is to earn that and i hope somebody will do the same for me. 😊
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 23, 2018, 10:24:07 AM
Its a nice marketing scheme. People will have idea and interest about this mode of payment. And people who use bitcoin to buy will be taxed resulting to more profit for the KFC. Bitcoin will be like promoted publicly and they will gain more because of tax. I think its a good marketing scheme for them to use it as a mode of payment.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: January 23, 2018, 10:20:37 AM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are both different Crytocurrency that has large achievements in the crypyo industry and reached unbelievable milestones. We cannot compare these two because both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. There are many ways on how we can gain Bitcoin and Ethereum which has become a basis of other cryptocurrency. Ethereum has their own wallet which is easy to use and it can be secured by many ways. Bitcoin also has their own wallet which is also easy to use and thru this wallets, you can convert it to cash.

Yes i agree with you. But if ibwill choose one, ill go with bitcoin. Even some use ethereum to buy bitcoin and bitcoin have a great gap among any oyher altcoins. But potential-wise ethereum can offer great opportunities in the future. One that is also worth investing to
