61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: December 03, 2020, 03:43:02 AM
Hey, i think another round of newbies getting entangled and trap in the current bull run is about to happen. we watch bitcoin move very fast from 15,000k to 17,000k within days . Not just the normal gradually process but as fast as we never espect.it looks exactly the same way it happened in 2017. many got trapped and they regrets the move. the ground is set and i am certain it will happen again.
Everything Mooning like someone is sitting somewhere pushing the gas. experience traders are riding the bull and making money, influencers are pushing those that care to listen while the Newbies are screening. GO BITCOIN, GO BITCOIN.
Just be careful and Never forget to use the stop lost(its like a seatbelt) because we will definitely meet the bears on our way up some day. But that day is not soon so lets enjoy the bull together.

Bitcoin price movements are difficult to predict. but from the base price until this year the chart went up. moment bitcoin drops dramatically at the beginning of the year usually. and will rise again until the end of the year. for this year it looks like the highest ATH price for bitcoin. congratulations to bitcoin holders.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: December 03, 2020, 03:17:26 AM
I would like to make it clear that I have been a bounty hunter, bounty manager, and part of project management for various projects and this is not to support the bounty hunters but rather to show the reality how bounty hunters and what they go through in this forum.

I know it's not easy to manage a bounty campaign as you will receive thousands of messages from irritating users, there will be hundreds of fake entries in the spreadsheet then you real users disputing that they didn't receive stakes because some imposters have entered their address against the real user's name and sometimes bounty managers or dev team's response would not be the politest one.

But at the same time there are hundreds of hardworking bounty hunters who work really hard in the hope that their efforts would be rewarded but all the efforts are shadowed by the wrongdoings of few cheap users with fake accounts who bombard, spam the bounty groups and harass bounty managers as a result whole bounty hunter community is looked with suspicious and selfish.

Bounty tokens contribute a very small portion of the total supply if we look at the percentage of tokens which are traded but still bounty hunters are blamed for dumping the market with cheap price, regardless of the price bounty hunters sell the tokens if the project is good then the price will not be affected or even if it's affected it will eventually recover without much loss but they are blamed for dump wherein it's sometimes investors who dump the token for quick profit.

The worst part is when tokens are locked for bounty hunters and only distributed to them when the market is already broken by investors, after their efforts and ill-treatment in the hands of such bounties they finally receive worthless tokens which would be a loss even if they trade as the tokens will not even worth the GAS fee charged in MEW wallet to transfer it.

I urge all the management and bounty managers to treat bounty hunters with respect and they shouldn't be judged.

I have made a similar article about the pain of bounty managers and here is the link you may read it and understand I have seen both the phases

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219422.msg53662033#msg53662033

a very complex problem about bounty hunters. many mention as project destroyers but many also mention helping a project be successful. It looks like the project developer has to be good at managing the circulation and expenses required for marketing. Thanks for link thread
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops are important on: December 03, 2020, 03:01:34 AM
I have taken part in many of them and since 2018 there have been some that paid a few tokens that I am still holding and many had failed, didn't pay or never reached an exchange.
With the ending of the ICOs in 2018 almost all startups

I think that airdrops are required to increase the base of holders and supporters for a startup cryptocurrency project.
It helps the new projects in many ways and it is the best marketing for them. Airdrops help a project like this:
  • Social media numbers and followers
  • Better distribution in many wallets
  • Better fanbase
  • Advertisement and brand name recognition

For the last two years, there have been only a couple of airdrops distributed to participants' wallets and there have been a few even asking for KYC something that I'm not willing to do but it is up to how someone values his private data. Energi was a project that paid good airdrop and required KYC.

Airdrops will get better as long as the altcoin market is rising and new projects appear. Although with DeFi what happened left me uninterested as many scam projects instantly appeared in a couple of days.

Startups should have a better selection of how airdrops are distributed, excluding certain behaviors, and having a secondary selection of people that have the potential to help the project and provide additional value.
The UNI airdrop was distributed to anyone that used this platform. It is how airdrops should be performed to exclude thousands that would only care to dump at any price and did the minimum to help.
A quiz, participation in AMA, and getting knowledge of the project is more important. Airdrops should be active and have something more than just follow on social media.

I expect in the new year thousands of new startups to appear in the cryptocurrency space and perhaps a revival of the ICO is possible. We can now better identify the scams and expose or ignore them and follow the startups that are developers trying to create something that could help the world.

Airdrops will be more important soon again.

Airdrop can be needed if it doesn't depend on the developer. but to introduce and market it is very good an airdrop is held but with a limited quota
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: December 02, 2020, 05:50:03 AM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

I was forced to hodling alt.coin because I already bought at a high price and hoped that one day the price would go up. just return capital is grateful without having to suffer losses

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: December 01, 2020, 02:47:41 AM
Good day everyone, I've been back here and now there is a lot of new things here. Also about the funds raising strategy. Nowadays IEO is the most very effective fund raising today. Also because the exchange holds the token and they distributed after the token sale. And also this kind of token sale is favor to an exchange. But I saw some errors or false about IEO. There is token sale for example on LATOKEN exchange, That exchange (LATOKEN) sell the token (IEO) but in the end they will not list on their exchange so for me that is not good. What if the token is sold out? And its not listed on that exchange mentioned. So how the traders/investors will get the profit? Also very risky right? What do you think guys?

indeed a lot of Ieo was held. but nearly 90% of IEOs are now at risk. especially if the IEO is held in a small market with little liquidity. I myself will participate in the IEO when it is held in the top 10 exchanges.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 6 cryptocurrency , Invest in 2020 on: November 30, 2020, 12:20:53 PM
I know crypto currency 2017. and it seems that it is rare for a coin to be really good for investment. besides bitcoin, only eth class, xrp that I bought for investment.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is etherflyer legit on: November 30, 2020, 08:54:33 AM
was wondering if this website was legit

also i have some atri coins but there not listed in my MEW wallet why is this has been 4 hours since the transaction they show up on the etheruem explorer but not in the wallet any suggestions?

There are not many etherflyer enthusiasts. actually its use is very simple. The small-scale token projects usually use etherflyer for exchange.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: November 30, 2020, 07:58:34 AM
bitcoin vs ethereum is really interesting. no one loses and wins. they have their own fans. although bitcoin is still dominant, ethereum also has great potential.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 29, 2020, 02:33:59 AM
high ethereum gas fees are very beneficial for miners but not for traders. because a trader needs very high transfer traffic to send or withdraw tokens. hopefully it can be cheaper and more stable in the future
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 28, 2020, 12:11:32 PM
We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.

Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.

I am a fan and user of ethereum. although it is stored for a long time and the price fluctuates. because ethereum itself has been used in various alt coin projects that require ethereum gas fees. Hopefully ethereum achieves maximum price.

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 on: November 25, 2020, 05:34:47 AM
I heard ETH 2.0 is confirmed to launch on December 1st. Can we stake immediately after launch?

The question now where miners and millions of video cards gonna point to?
My bet is Monero, so Monero could see a huge pump soon.

good news for eth holders. but I only have a few. and is likely to affect eth prices. whether it goes up or down we'll see the results.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about IEO in altcoin season? on: November 24, 2020, 08:40:55 AM
This just came to my mind today as ive never think about it before, since bullrun happened in 2017 and ICO became popular and successful in that year too aren't you guy curious how IEO projects would have performed if bullrun was ongoing?  IEO became popular after bull market of 2017 right? The reason why ICO was so profitable in 2017 was because of the altcoin season don't you think? What about IEO in altcoin season? We are yet to see this

more and more crypto projects are growing the more IEOs on various exchanges. what needs to be considered so that you don't lose in investment, you should choose a good and valid company and try to choose an IEO on an exchange that is already large and has good liquidity
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 24, 2020, 12:27:39 AM
Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam?

Many years before the Cryptocurrency was a scam for some people, later people said that ICOs are scam, when ICOs had gone and IEO had begun then they were blaming that IEOs are scam later now they are calming that DeFi is scam

Who are they??

They need to be called LOOFER= LOOSER who just want to spread FUD for their own benefit

I totally agree with this. tons of new projects that end up in scams. there should be special conditions or guarantees to an agency or agency for a new project. so that it can be controlled and not cause problems in the future.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is launched on: November 23, 2020, 07:42:55 AM
good information for Ethereum developments. hopefully for better security and transaction speed. and also for shipping costs so that they can be even cheaper considering there are many users of the ethereum platform.

slowly but surely ethereum shows its capacity as the best alt coin. Ethereum fans and users have gone global because it has been widely used in almost all crypto projects. Now is the time to enjoy the results of saving ethereum.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: November 23, 2020, 12:41:13 AM
Hey guys,
I've checked some intersting altcoins which are pretty cheap now, the projects look promising and legit but I'm still afraid that they could be another pump and dumps (there were so many of them already!). What are the signs or metrics that send alert signals about the projects and I should check deeper or not risk my money? Or is it just impossible to tell if it's another pump and dump scam project.

pump and dump are common in alt coins. and it looks like an annual cycle. as long as the developer is still active in managing alt coins I think it is still safe to play with alt coins. but it takes experience and knowledge about crypto to buy alt Coin.
