of course he hasnt replied. icebreaker is a little bitch.
62  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC Miner list of orders - Neptune on: December 29, 2013, 01:12:15 PM
Is there any definitive timeline on batch releases? The way I'm perceiving based on the info on the website is that Neptune 1.0 was open to previous customers at $10k, then 2 weeks later Neptune 1.5 will ship ($13k), and then two weeks later, Neptune batch 2.0 (back to $10k) will ship?

This all seems a bit screwy.

you need to understand how difficulty changes every (roughly) two weeks.....if you dont get that, then you wont understand.
63  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC Miner list of orders - Neptune on: December 27, 2013, 10:45:15 PM
Did kncminer just drop the price by $3k a week after I paid $13k?

Yes, for the batch coming out 1 month after yours. If you make more than $3000 in the first month you have yours, then you will have the better deal.

I was already in the second batch.

what are you asking? are you complaining that you paid 3k more because its a month earlier?

When are you going to realize that Bitcointalk is irrelevant to the bitcoin world?  It could disappear today and it wouldn't make a hill of beans difference to anyone important.  The only people hanging around and taking this forum seriously are the trolls.

I disagree, but unfortunately must admit when moderators like Gmaxwell refuse to enforce their own rules, then start violating them, it ruins the old, information-based approach to the Custom Hardware sub.

Thanks to Gmaxwell's butthurt and resulting shitty moderation, the HashFast thread now looks like the Activemining trainwreck.

A tiny but loud minority of disgruntled customers (cedivad, perezozo, gmaxwell, and a couple others) have been allowed to ruin a thread that served to provide information for hundreds of actual and thousands of potential HashFast customers.

Just as the Activemining trainwreck reflects poorly on the board and community as a whole, Gmaxwell's intentionally trashed HashFast thread serves as a beacon, to warn those interested in facts and logic away to seek greener pastures.

Gmaxwell's sub rules say 'don't make a ton of duplicate theads' but instead of deleting off-topic trolling/derailment/harassment, he promotes such rubbishy noise to independent threads.

Source: this thread.  And more.

How does hurting Hashfast customers (by allowing their thread to be ruined) in any way achive Gmaxwell's goal of punishing HashFast the company?

It doesn't.  But he doesn't care, as he is too emotionally invested in harming HashFast in any way possible.  Like a bitter ex-wife.   Cheesy

nobody cares about hashfast, they are shit.
66  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast thread derailment part 3 on: December 24, 2013, 07:45:34 PM
That idiot has some skewed perception of reality, thinking that any sane person would actually buy a BFL product by choice.
Not when the word "BFL" has been turned into a term with a definition meaning:

1. To have something you ordered - delivered so far behind schedule, that it is no longer useful to you. Especially in cases where delays are 100+ days and the manufacturer or reseller is refusing to offer a refund for the goods.
2. Scammed
3. Completely fucked over

BFL is what's wrong with the Bitcoin ASIC industry and I truly hope they go bankrupt.

I'm glad I can ruin your Christmas then!  Your hopes and dreams are shattered!  Merry Christmas!

i hope your family dies in a car accident tomorrow. merry christmas!

Also if you have anything else you'd like debunked please PM me as you are taking this hashfast thread off topic.

"Anything else" implies that you've already debunked something.  So far the only thing you've done is continue to spread misinformation and increase the entropy of Bitcointalk. But by all means, please continue the bitchfest in this thread of the same people posting the same shit over and over ad infinitum... you're doing a service to... something.  I think.

you also charged for your "upgrades". please, please die.

Josh is probably taking a % of HF profits due to it's suggestions to john. So there is really no point in asking him it's opinion on HF. I will always remember how sure he was that KNC was gonna be late when we meet, it must have been because he knew that KNC was legit.

And I was right... KNC was late.  They promised summer delivery and didn't deliver until, what... October?

KNC promised summer delivery on there FPGA protot ype of like 80gh or some such..FPGA unit ...forget the name......the btc community said it was too small too high priced..so they changed it to their proof of concept prototype...and did not deliver that in the summer they delivered their orig ASIC as they stated on time org 250gh was the estimated gh....always stated that for the fall ie sept  (or 1 week late for some folk)....so no the ASIC 400gh stated at the end became current ad  (which they gave us the other 550 gh for free mine does 555gh) was on time +/- a week....so don't spread false info.....ASIC we are talking here.

You want to improve BFL allow us to Xfer our forced to upgrade to  Monarch orders...never wanted one...forced to update due to your being way way behind on your estimated timeline....do that and some of us backed into the monarch orders will xfer to others who wish them (even at a loss) and move on...but imho I don't see you getting them to us till april at double the power and prob 1/2 the hash rate....(surprise me and allow transfers on our pre-order monarchs...if they are on time you can have the last laugh with whoever wants to take them off our hands)...anyway should not matter you can transfer the other older asic stuff ..why not monarchs...at least it would be a way out for me from any BFL product....

anyway my 7131.80 KNC unit has made ROI back even when the 900gh of monarch I got backed into arrives as bricks......hashing nicely at 555gh w/o issues....and 2 days before my Saturn shipped in OCT I canceled it and they refunded me in 4 hrs...so yeah..you could learn a lot from KNC especially the REFUND part ..but alas if you refunded then you would not have your new GH cloud hosting service off of our $$$ that should have gone into production way back this last summer....

anyway trying hard not to rag on your a*ss ...you just probably don't fathom how badly you (with benefit of doubt here at least in your own mind) "seem" to have mislead everyone ordering from BFL ...so consider some of the above..if you are on time/on task on the monarch extending xfer to monarchs should not be that big a deal.....(sorry josh but I really really want to dump them...in a somewhat pre-order legit manner..to whomever ...with warranty etc with a legit xfer option)...imho cut us loose with this added option....be to your benefit not like your previous customers with a choice (not like us forced to upgrade folks) will order from you again...no offense but once burnt don't ya know....that and the fact you are btc wire xfer only "no refunds" and KNC and some others are same but in KNC's case 'refunds up to shipping".....anyway I digress

do what you want I've moved on and covered my losses with bfl by about 4x....but if I we're you I'd consider the above....there are a lot of us who want to cut our losses with BFL even if at a loss...we just don't buy you will come thru on time/product/performance....if we are wrong you can have the last laugh and we've sold our monarch pre-orders for a loss and moved on...even if that is the case I doubt either of us in 2 month hindsight would regret the actions...at that point in time.

my 2c worth

Searing

(heh really really surprise me and everyone else and 'un-ban' me from shoutbox on BFL while your at it...I assume the odds are the same as my above suggestion)

Searing

Does it hurt to be so wrong all the time?

(Just wanted to quote your stupidity before you edited it.)

Does it hurt to be the most disliked individual in the bitcoin community?

You are incorrect, sir. They said all of batch 1 will be in-hand by 15 Oct. They went approx 2 weeks over that mark. 2 weeks lost me about $1,000, but it could have been worse.

Do you just like not read the first post of KNCminer or are you just a troll and/or liar?

Here, let me quote the relevent part for you (bolded for your pleasure):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg1771040#msg1771040

Quote
We will in the upcoming weeks opening our order book to allow the purchase of our first set of ASIC miners. They are in the early stages of development now and will be ready in the summer of 2013 (yes in just a few months)

KNC was months late.  Suck it.

you know a thing or two about sucking it, don't you Josh.

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 23, 2013, 05:20:55 PM

those are neptunes, dingus.
72  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 23, 2013, 03:45:06 PM
nevermind the fact that customers will have their units in hand only 3 to 4 days (if not longer) AFTER 31'st.
And since that it's not delivery, we will easily win our case. I should hear back from the lawyer today...

Cedivad - how much time and money do you have to waste on this? as you had better tell your lawyer you are trying to sue a start up that has spent all its money on NRE etc. Unless the lawyer is there to simply take your cash off you, any half sensible lawyer will tell you that you are wasting your time and money. Seriously how old are you and what do you know about either the legal process or the bankruptcy process? If you don't know squat, you had better start learning. Do your research 1st or the next thing you will be doing is whining about your lawyers taking your money and not being able to deliver your BTCs back from HF or his fees

There is no doubt HF's communication has been sorely lacking but I am really hard pressed to see how suing a co with no funds is going to help anyone at all

so what you are saying is dont bother? just let hashfast do what they want? you are so weak.

Out of 6 nov jupiters, I now have 3 dead moduals, and a completely dead Jupiter. RMA is pretty fast... but Ill be down almost $1k in shipping by the time this is done. Seriously thinking about just chaging back the dead one... Not worth it after 2 weeks dead then another 3 weeks in RMA.

They make you pay for shipping?

$100 per module back to sweden for each, then they want me to ship the entire Jupiter back that wont work. I don't even have RMA numbers for the last module yet.

Hm, I never knew they segregate customers like that. All I know is that us people in Europe don't pay for return shipping.
Have you asked them about this?

from them:

"We can see that there is an issue with your whole miner.

Please write in large writing on the box RMA 131223-08 and send the entire miner back to the following address:

KnCMiner
Birger Jarlsgatan 33
11145 Stockholm
Sweden

The shipping cost to us will need to be paid by customer and we will pay for the shipping cost back. Please declare value as 1000 US dollar."

And In the past I asked- never answered. Not only do they want me to pay return shipping, but also to undermark the customs. Pretty sure its illegal to do that... not happy with a establish company asking me to do that.

wow, that is very unprofessional.... surprise surprise
75  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 23, 2013, 03:32:59 PM
hashfast is literally the worst. i hope you get sued so badly you lose your homes.

Avenger...
Awww, cmon man... lol....  BTC went down for a bit, that's all...   I won't chastise you for thinking it's a sinking ship, that's your right, and isn't impossible, however unlikely IMHO
I wasn't talking about BTC being a sinking ship, as well you know.

I was talking about a certain shovel makers shovels seeming less and less attractive by the minute and even their most loyal followers jumping from that ship before it sinks.

you keep feeding this trollop..

you know he'll just twist intended meanings to suit him & his only 'mates'

then he'll get 'upset' but still defend the suppliers of fires

then he'll bemoan his pretending to ignore you & his deepest desire to spread the gospel of KnC

then he'll prove himself totally dishonest and repeat Ad nauseam

funny to consider he was nothing but a complete fucktard less than 3 months ago.

now look what its morphed into, the wevered weader of the wost BOYS

(asic-k the dense, rick james the bitch, and the others who are so irrelevant i have failed to even store their names in my memory)

aaaaaaand.... Action!

woo! i got a name drop. Thanks buddy!

Note that while I'm writing software for them I'm just a contractor so I have no direct allegiance with them, so I'm trying to sift through all this information and I want to know if anyone has kept a copy, screenshot or whatever, to show that they promised to deliver by October 30th? I certainly remember it being implied when I first looked but wasn't really watching early on to see what was being advertised.

Hi Con!

Thank you for all the work you're doing to ensure cgminer works flawlessly with HashFast ASICs.

Per our ToS, Dec 31 is the guaranteed delivery date for Batch One.

Best,

-HF_CL

you lying bastards. you clearly wrote october....
