61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: June 13, 2018, 09:07:03 AM
Well, there is still no loss if you continue to hold. 2017 may be the peak year but that does not mean that it is impossible to happen again - no one knows what heights bitcoin may come through in the future. Maybe not now with all the current dips but it will come. Just wait and hold.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin "again" ??? on: June 12, 2018, 08:02:04 AM
It is quite hard to tell whether there will be any "major" dips in the future though it is given that it will dip due to its volatility. I think, yes, it is a good time to buy bitcoin - it is under $10k and it is given that it will rise in the future and will yield you profit if you hodl long enough. The earlier you go in, the better.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin market going to collapse? on: June 12, 2018, 07:15:45 AM
It will have to take something too crazy or too wild for bitcoin to just collapse, a quite big number of people use it and as long as it is used for transactions, it will continue to survive.
You cannot really compare bitcoin to gold and I am pretty sure that bitcoin will continue to be a forerunner on cryptocurrencies while eth seconds as a lot of coins that just pop up are just frauds and heavily manipulated.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Won't people sell it ? on: June 12, 2018, 06:47:07 AM
I definitely agree to not expect this year to be the same as 2017 for bitcoin, to peak again and be somewhere around $20k - bitcoin is very unexpected and unpredictable. Anyway these dips in the current time should not be a worry if you are doing long-term. Being pessimistic is quite advantageous rather expecting something big for profit and being disappointed if it took a turn - always remember to hodl as there will not be a loss, yet or something.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: What is bitcoin backed by? on: June 12, 2018, 05:34:54 AM
Yeah, I agree that the most important part of the existence of bitcoin is the people using it primarily and obviously.
Bitcoin would literally have no value if no one uses it, there will be no concept of demand/supply of it basically. So we can say that popularity of it is a very critical as it would increase its value, they go hand-in-hand as increasing value also attracts investors.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: June 12, 2018, 03:23:03 AM
I think, in a way, accepting bitcoin on your business can positively impact one's business - the coin is becoming popular and popular as time pass by, very limited companies and businesses accept them due to their volatility. Cryptocurrencies are the future of fiat and going in the game is advantageous.
Profit still depends on your business concept.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: June 11, 2018, 11:12:27 AM
Yes, manipulating bitcoin is very possible - though and unless if you have a sufficiently big amount of bitcoin in store. It is advantageous for the individual or group, who does not want a favorable price when you need them. If you have the power and that power gets you profit, why not right?
68  Economy / Economics / Re: How does bitcoin become a currency? on: June 11, 2018, 10:28:39 AM
Yeah, I think everyone knows that bitcoin will lose its value if no one will use it - basic concept of demand and supply, which is quite not possible at the moment as a lot of people believe in it unless maybe something wild happens to bring to its downfall.
I do agree to everything you said, bitcoin was introduced to be a currency.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 11, 2018, 03:49:24 AM
I think that is quite an understatement to explain the importance of paying taxes, it is basically a critical foundation of the government to provide its citizens' general needs - money runs everything.
Though knowledge is important for all, they need to fight for their rights and to correctly manage the funds they have provided for the government to not be taken over by greed.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: June 08, 2018, 03:41:17 PM
Of course they do.
They have the capability power to do so. If you have an amount big enough to manipulate price according to your very own liking - lower it to hoard more coins or make it higher to sell them off, you can make the value in the current time period favorable on you which means more money and more profit, if you hold an immense amount or is able to influence a lot of people, most likely that you are profit-bound. And manipulating the market gets you quite the profit.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: June 08, 2018, 02:36:28 PM
Firstly because of accessibility.
You cannot expect people from a relatively poor country to have access on technological devices and the Internet to which bitcoin heavily relies on, of course, they have to prioritize food and basic needs over phones and computer which is seen more as a want.
Secondly because of knowledge & education.
Most do not have the sufficient level of knowledge and understanding more on different matter besides on their experiences, no offense but is not it the truth - education is a first on everything to correctly manage resources unless you are wise enough.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: June 08, 2018, 03:02:57 AM
I do agree to hodl it for as long as possible and until as you can, bitcoin will rise constantly in the future like it did back less than a decade of introduction as popularity increases, the current drips are just because of its volatility which is in its nature so there is no need to panic sell.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise soon.Don't be panic. on: June 07, 2018, 11:58:00 PM
The earlier you get to the field of bitcoin, the better - though mind its current price still to get the lowest value possible and then hold them off for the longest time possible. It is given that bitcoin will rise in the future as its popularity rises increasing the number of investors and reducing the supply.
I honestly do not believe in predictions especially from "influential" or popular people, they often make them to somehow manipulate the price.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: my prediction is always wrong on: June 07, 2018, 09:29:01 AM
It is quite hard to predict what will happen to bitcoin when, there is a lot of people falling to FUD and price manipulation dropping the price not to mention its indefinite volatility.
No use in making predictions at all especially if you are doing long term.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it? on: June 07, 2018, 08:35:04 AM
I totally would.
If a government would issue a cryptocurrency, that would mean that the country is transitioning over digital money with the purpose of convenience and benefits over the traditional fiat and ideally to be used widely on the area.
I do not think that there is much of a choice except to go with it, the government is powerful.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: June 06, 2018, 02:29:33 PM
It is totally possible.
Though only if that person or group of people hold a huge percentage of total cryptocurrency amount, they can totally manipulate the market to their own liking. But yes, there will be still ups on the market to which you can preferably sell your coins at - I do not see why them bigger holders would not want high price casuall, too.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: June 06, 2018, 02:14:24 PM
I do agree that investing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is another open door of oppprtunities for entrepreneurs especially of they have an adequate knowledge of it to strategize and manage their own finances on their own without falling into false speculations.
If you are profit-bounded, yes, bitcoin is great and a necessity yet to be considered.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency should I invest in, in 2018? Why? on: June 06, 2018, 01:45:57 PM
I totally agree with your lineup, those coins are my ideals too.
I agree to only invest on the most popular of cryptocurrencies as they are popular for a great reason, more people believe in its great potential and future obviously.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: How to calculate profit on: June 06, 2018, 11:57:56 AM
Nothing.
It is simple subtraction, basic math. I hope that your number is a typo, that is literally obvious. A price of $10k for bitcoin is not even a good opportunity to buy them if in this timeline and is a bad idea to even sell it at the same price, always try to be patient for most time possible.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: June 06, 2018, 11:45:14 AM
Of course you can say that banning of bitcoin of China can have a negative effect on the value of bitcoin. A great percentage of the users of bitcoin is from China as it is a big and populous area and banning it can ultimately reduce it.
Not to mention that the news of banning may influence other people's opinion about bitcoin negatively, it can be a trigger for other governments on succession.
