141  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: May 24, 2018, 03:38:44 AM
I am from the Philippines and I would describe the economy as pretty bad.
There are a LOT (capitalized to emphasize) of corrupt and greedy politicians, people in general honestly even in constructions yielding bad builds and wasted funds. Good education with adequate resources is quite hard to find especially being financially wise. The percentage of unemployment is quite high and there are not even good regulations in employment to protect workers.
But yes, there is hope and effort that it will all be better in the future.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: How do I get bitcoin? on: May 24, 2018, 02:54:39 AM
There is quite a lot of ways to get bitcoins, here is a few of them though:
- buy them, find a trustworthy and legit wallet site that is able to convert your cash to bitcoin - only invest a percent of your money and be sure you can afford to lose them just in case
- mine them, buy a good hardware and carry on
- join in services and bounties in these forums that has bitcoin for rewards just for doing a task or advertising them
- gamble, the riskiest and not the most advisable but yes, you can get bitcoin by this

143  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: May 24, 2018, 02:06:43 AM
No, I do not think that America is to be considered as a failed nation.
I mean seriously, just compare it to other smaller and poorer countries (no offense but it is the truth, right?) - so what do you deem to actually describe them as?
It is advanced on every field especially technologically and economically compared to any other else. Their education can be considered as the greatest which can support and bring many brilliant minds that can do wiser decisions and contribute to progress of their country.
America is not called a superpower country for no reason.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: why the state does not print a lot of money? on: May 24, 2018, 01:45:33 AM
Simply because it will cause inflation.
Printing a lot of money over what is enough can significantly decrease its value, paper money literally becomes just paper.
The value of money depends on its demand-supply and there is no limit in printing money for countries, they can literally do it whenever and whatever volume they want unlike cryptocurrencies like bitcoin which has a limit and thus deflationary.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can change economic? on: May 24, 2018, 01:29:29 AM
Yes, bitcoin can change economy in a way.
It can be an additional (or even primary) source of income for a few of the population that is able and have access to, which it can reduce the rate of unemployment. It can "take in" money from a country to another which is positive and may cause a change in deflation in the long run for the latter if consistent.
Though, bitcoin may not exactly be the coin that revolutionizes money as we know it or be actually adopted - no one knows what advancements people can come up with and who knows it might be better than the system of bitcoin.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: May 23, 2018, 03:56:20 PM
Yes, panic selling your coins can contribute to what they refer to as the "dump" and would drop the value. Users itself manipulate the value of bitcoin, the supply/demand specifically.
There is no exact way to prevent users to panic sell, it is their own choice and you cannot really tell them off especially if they need money for emergency. It is important not to spread fase adticles and speculations to fool people and manipulate price to your own liking and on the users' part, they should axquire adequate knowledge to not fall for it.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Is banking still important in the bitcoin era? on: May 23, 2018, 07:36:11 AM
Yes, banks will still be important even though society will transition from traditional fiat to cryptocurrencies.
Especially regarding the fact that governments strongly support them as they can somehow take in money in lending loans and investments to businesses. Banks will just probably adapt to the cryptocurrency if ever it is to happen, not pretty much I guess and only time will tell.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto currencies make local currencies disappear? on: May 23, 2018, 06:17:04 AM
I do not think that two decades is enough to adopt cryptocurrency system to replace the traditional fiat, there is a lot of considerations for the society - just think about how not all has access to technology to which crypto heavily rely on.
It is possible but it will take a lot of time and change on individuals themselves.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = $7,992.71 should i buy and wait or on: May 23, 2018, 05:38:55 AM
Only cash your bitcoin earnings out when you actually need money so bad, if not then simply don't.
The value of bitcoin is expected to grow on the passing years and it will be a significant profit for early users - just look at the charts on the introduction of crypto vs what it is now and you bet it made quite a lot of investors in 2009 instantly rich.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is everybody dumping Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2018, 08:00:36 AM
People who sell their bitcoin out of panic from a wrong speculation clearly dumps their bitcoin as they do not have enough knowledge to arrive at better decisions in handling and managing on their own. Knowledge and understanding the field should be a first for everyone if they are wanting profit. They should have patience as well as the greater time pass by, the greater the value of bitcoin will be, possibly as everyone expects it to be.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all the governments of the country united to strictly prohibit the exist on: May 18, 2018, 07:45:06 AM
I do not think that there is enough reason to why all countries should ban cryptocurrencies - they are the future of traditional fiat in this digitalized world we are on. A huge percentage of pople who think crypto should be banned are clearly have no adequate knowledge about its importance and how it can revolutionize money as we know it.
Cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin have far lot greater potential and benefit.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: What/who make the price of bitcoin on: May 18, 2018, 07:27:07 AM
The value of bitcoin merely depends on its users and people who transact and invest on it in general - the concept of supply and demand.
The higher the demand, the higher the value of bitcoin. The lower the supply, the higher the value of bitcoin. It is the reason why the value of bitcoin had soar since it has been introduced less than a decade ago, it had gone popular as it had gotten a lot of people that invested in its early era and hold them off instantly rich and is still expected to soar further.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: May 18, 2018, 06:57:58 AM
Yes, the value of bitcoin depends on its current demand and supply. The higher the demand, the higher the price is. And the more popular bitcoin gets, it is expected that the demand is higher.
Try to acquire more knowledge about the field so you can render better decisions and not fall into wrong speculations that will yield you panic thus sell your coins and contribute to dump.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: What would benefit bitcoin more? on: May 18, 2018, 03:40:19 AM
Yeah, I have to agree to people saying that advertising is benefitted by bitcoin the most.
A company can popularize itself through willing people all over the globe and the payment for the service is more convenient and possible with cryptocurrencies.
Apart from it, people who use bitcoin in any transaction is benefitted by itself. It os more convenient and secure sith itz technological advancements over fiat.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: May 18, 2018, 03:17:51 AM
This thread has been posted like 2017.
But like many people said, no, do not panic sell your coins - you're only contributing to the dump which drops the price even more. It is only in the nature of the coin that it constantly drops and a great opportunity even to invest.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people dump their Bitcoins ? on: May 18, 2018, 01:09:42 AM
People that have no to little knowledge about cryptocurrencies often follow false speculations about the price drop of the value to which they often describe it as its failure and not looking that it is just in its nature.
Or they just need money fast in real life so they cash their coins no matter the value of it is, whether it is for basic needs or emergency - it depends on the decision of the user and its their loss.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 18, 2018, 12:35:15 AM
You cannot really blame people. Money is something they have worked hard on and most cannot afford a loss to a scam, you are literally giving away free money to scammers. Tons of scammers related to cryptocurrencies especially have emerged to the fact that it is quite technical and not all people can understand the field, making them an easy target.
Knowledge, y'all.
Base your knowledge on truthful facts to render your decisions wisely and profitable. Never be fooled with good to be true promises on investments.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: May 17, 2018, 11:24:49 PM
Governments should implement better financial aid on putting up business of the poorest nd more helpful rules on favor of employees on employment. On the long-term side, they should consider strengthening the force of education so their citizens will have the knowledge on the importance of being economically-wise and having a great source of income.
Or maybe they should support cryptocurrency so their economies
can "take in" money in their countries but implement rules to reduce explicit activities relating to it.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: May 17, 2018, 10:31:23 PM
I would say that it is still great to invest in stocks and real estate besides cryptocurrency. They are popular forms of investments for a reason.
I would also like to invest on my own business is particular to my area and something I know that would prosper. Plus I get to manage my own and if it is a loss, I could just blame myself and nothing more complex like lawsuits or something.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Some advices and references for a newbie? on: May 17, 2018, 10:12:06 PM
This forum itself has good and informative topics that can help anyone new to the cryptocurrency field. I only read articles on websites that really are trustworthy, do not be fooled by wrong speculations about crypto. I do agree that knowledge and understanding of the field is a first on everything and will help you decide more efficiently on your own.
