61  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the future holds for Bitcoins? on: August 28, 2018, 02:04:15 PM
As every one hopes for more profit from bitcoin in the same line every one wants that value of bitcoin raise and their profit raise, world is optimist and always look for betterment of self so in this way people always think for the good and for better future of bitcoin also.

Bitcoin has been recognized as currency in many countries and as of today it’s the most liquid & widely accepted cryptocurrency in the world. And by far it is the most popular cryptocurrency in the world. And with these fast growing technologies I have no doubt the bitcoin and other altcoins future is bright because of the efficiency and real time transactions.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: it's time to buy ethereum on: August 27, 2018, 01:36:23 PM
is this the right time to buy ethereum coins, for now eth prices have dropped very badly this year, even as long as I know cryptocurrency now ethereum is in a downward condition.
according to your analysis, eth prices next month will be reached like prices at the beginning of the year
or it will even stabilize in the coming year.
Yes it is a best condition to buy the ethereum because the market and the price of the ethereum are too low.

Yes I believe ethereum now is very low a very good time to buy and hold. No doubt, Ethereum is here to stay. There is no better time to buy than now. It is my main choice but you have to make your opinion on what you want to invest in. But for me Ethereum is so worth to invest.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: August 27, 2018, 12:35:33 PM
I think that crypto means much to me and I am sure that for many traders, this is the best way to earn money, to my mind, this is the best to earn a living today

For me crypto is a big opportunity for me in helping my family without being tied up in a big company that pays a very little salary. Crypto uphold my way of living without being force to work 8 hours a day. It is my ticket to achieve success and accomplish my goals in life. As long as you do crypto in the right way and in the right timing you will earn a lot from it.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: August 26, 2018, 08:23:49 AM
Well for me I would more likely prefer traditional gambling over online gambling because for me there's a high percentage for you to be decieve compared to traditional. Though you can still be decieve in tradtional gambling but you may spot the anomalies happen unlike in online if they set an script upon it, there's nothing you can do about it. Furthermore, it is better to play with interaction with people rather than to interact with people through your computer.

I agree with you completely. There are ways to reduce the incidences of getting cheated on online websites though. Most of the new players will however, will not be able to observe patterns on online websites easily.

I have been victim of this on some online websites and sad thing is that those websites are still running successfully after so many years.

Yes, For me I would prefer the traditional gambling because you are going to associate with other people and enjoy the event live. In online gambling you sit in front of the computer and seems so quite and lonely. There is no any doubt in anyone’s mind that online gambling will one day overtake traditional gambling because of the latest technologies but not like the old traditional way that is more fun.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: August 26, 2018, 04:13:59 AM
indirectly. all I do is convert crypto to fiat, then use it for my daily life. and I think to use it directly, it will be difficult. because there is no market that provides goods for everyday purposes that receive payments using crypto.

Yeah true, I also not using cryptocurrency in a daily basis because crypto is not yet 100% accepted in the society. The adaptation is far of happening specially in some areas in the world. As of now I only use crypto every two months and I have to convert it into local fiat money to be useful because in my country there is no business that accept bitcoin as payment.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Wallet Keys and Passwords should be known to you and you alone. Yes! But... on: August 26, 2018, 03:07:35 AM
Yes! You need to protect your wallets against any possible theft or hacking. You must protect your private keys and wallet passwords. This is a must for everyone, else your coins will be stolen.

The frequent warnings of ensuring you protect your private keys from anyone seems to have eaten too deep into almost everyone of us in cryptocurrency. Some of us have forgotten certain realities of life and cryptocurrency wallets which I want to warn you about. My warning is mainly targeted at anyone who has a family, or at least, a child. You must leave a means or trace that your family will be able to access your wallets when you are gone. I mean when you are below 6ft. Each one of us will die some day. No one wants to hear this, but it is the absolute truth. If you suddenly die today with your secret keys and passwords unknown to your family, your coins are lost forever. Your crypto wallet is not a regular bank, so no way your family can claim your many crypto wealth online.
Don't be selfish. Your family or wife or children must not suffer when you have so much Bitcoin or other coins trapped in an inaccessible online wallets.

Remember your family and loved ones.

You have a very strong and uneasy decision to make today.

I have been thinking about this scenario and yes we don't what the future holds. I already told my family about it and I briefed them what to do if anything bad will happen to me. This is a real serious issue that needs a serious attention. Everyone must be ready about this to ensure our love ones will not be left with nothing when we are gone.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: August 25, 2018, 01:02:34 PM
A gambler should stop when he/she has gambled as much as he/she can afford to lose.

Well, kind of. You don't know when to stop. That's why you should have an amount in mind before you start playing.
But sometimes or most of the time rather, player always broke the amount they have set. If loss, frustration makes them non stop in playing or making depo right after a loss. If won, they are very confident that they can always do it so they will continue on playing and broke their limit they have set in win.

You are right, frustration will make them lose more because while loosing continuously we have to control ourselves by not gambling any more, but most of the people will start gambling without any limits and this makes them lose more money. To make profits we have to control ourselves by setting some limits.

Yes, every gambler must be responsible enough to know their limitations. You should know when is the time to stop and become aware of how much you have lost.. For the most part, the best method of escaping the occurrence of an empty bank account is to stop playing. You, as a responsible gambler must know that or else you will suffer the consequences later on.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: August 25, 2018, 12:08:15 PM
I don't know the exact reason why every country now did not accept crypto it is because of volatility or other problems? we couldn't sure about that but my instinct that governments don't want to accept crypto currency it is because they didn't control it by their self and many business mans will control to whole market of money if that's gonna happen.

These countries that banned or disallow the use of bitcoin permanently are afraid of cryptocurrencies dark side. The anonymous nature of cryptocurrencies means that it can be used for illegal transactions  such as buying and selling drugs or weaponry. And it can also be used for money laundering or terrorism. It is uncontrollable by the government that made them think it is harmful to the nation.
69  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang bitcoin ay ilegal!? on: August 25, 2018, 11:30:55 AM

70  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: August 24, 2018, 03:40:45 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

Yes, it can be hacked. I have experienced being hacked my wallet was hacked last february when I supposed to trade my tokens I found out it was gone. My wallet is already empty somebody made a transaction. Maybe because I was not being careful in storing my pinkeys. I saved it in my facebook inbox and also in my email address. I also saved it in my computer. Now, I learned my lesson and I don't want it to happen again.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 23, 2018, 12:30:26 PM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?

I always have a monthly budget for gaming, this is an amount i can afford to loose.
So lets say the budget is 0.1 BTC, i will play until its gone and thats it.
BUT
If i win, i have a rule, if my winnings exceeds 30% or more of my budget, I withdraw it

What I am going to do with my winnings in gambling depends on the amount that I won. If the money is big enough then I consider putting up a small business to roll the money. Or set aside the money for future use. Or I can use it to buy important things/basic needs in the house. Or in paying my monthly bills.

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 21, 2018, 12:37:30 PM
What is your opinion on the current market situation?  2018 has not been our year. It's been quite rough for cryptocurrency prices, with the most recent slump being from June 10, the market continues to fluctuate and change. But things seem to be looking up and bitcoin has reached its peak this summer, topping $8,000.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/what-is-going-on-with-the-crypto-markets-experts-share-opinions

Sad but true, as we can see 2018 is not a good year for cryptocurrency business. But I still believe that the cryptocurrency industry could be worth $5 trillion by 2022. But as the market is extremely volatile, that number is ever-changing as well is dependent on what source of news we listen to. The value is given to it by the people themselves. Just stay positive for a positive outcome.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: August 21, 2018, 03:37:30 AM
What have you been using your ETH for?

For trading
To buy ICO
For long term investment
Other - explain

Yes, basically eth is used for trading, buying, selling, and a good long term holding. Depending on the demand for buying or selling Ethereum, the price can fluctuate from day to day just like bitcoin and other crypto. This is similar to the manner in which the value of a stock or property can go up or down based on supply and demand.

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: August 19, 2018, 08:29:07 AM
Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks

I think you should invest in different altcoin rather than investing your money all in one altcoin. When it comes to investing, savvy money managers advise that you spread your money around that is to diversify your investments. Diversification protects you from losing all your assets in a market swoon. The sharp decline in stock prices in recent years are proof enough that putting all your eggs in one basket is a risky strategy.  It is safer and more advantageous compare to giving all in to just one. It that sense you can have a big chance of profit if the other is failing.
78  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 3 Crypto Companies sa Pilipinas na dapat mong malaman on: August 19, 2018, 03:44:01 AM
Mga problemang nararanasan natin sa Bangko.
* Mahal na transaksyon.
* Di-epektibong sistema at serbisyo nito.
* Mahirap makuha ang perang pinadala o pinaghirapan lalo na para sa mga manggagawa na may mga karaniwang  suweldo.
* Hindi abot ang mga malalayong lugar (Madalas nasa mga bayan nakatatag ang Bangko).
* May pagkakataon na hindi na nababawi ang pera kapag nanakawan ang isang Bangko.
* Gagamitin nila ang perang itinabi mo at tutubo ka sa napakaliit na halaga.

79  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: August 18, 2018, 02:34:32 PM

In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?

Both investment choices have their own advantages and disadvantages, so investors should know what investment really means in both of these assets. Both options are also not mutually exclusive aka investors can build a portfolio of both.

Actually both markets function the same way. By their simplest, the price of both are determined by demand, meaning how much people are willing to pay for a share or a currency. This means that when someone pays more than the previous person the price goes up. When no one is willing to pay a certain amount at a certain time, and someone is willing to let go of their ownership for less, the price goes down. But because crypto is the latest trend I would rather choose crypto from stock market.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: August 17, 2018, 01:43:00 PM
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Yes, patience indeed is the key. You shoud have given yourself time to thoroughly assess any situation and work through the pros and cons before committing to a plan of action. Don't allow someone or a sitiuation to rush you into making a quick decision without thinking it through thoroughly and completely or else you will regret in the end. In a market condition like this the best way to do is to hold and have patience.
