i just found this out, my second video card will not overclock infact that S.O.B. will not even Default Clock

its Underclocking itself, and i cant stop it

i used ati trays, i used msi afterburner, its staying at 157  cpu mhz and 300 memory mhz

i feel asleep last night

the problem i had last night was that the Computer would RESTART whlie Mining for 5 to 15 minutes

i just removed the crossfire's

i just installed catalyst 11.5

for some FREAKING reason

my Clocking and Memory, will be normal 700 and 1200 whatever

then it will jump to 150 and 300 for no freaking reason

im starting to think i have the WRONG DRIVERS

noo i dont think so, usually the frequencys are 700 and 1200+

and its 150 and 300

i just noticed just now

in my ATI OVERDRIVE / Overclock settings, its showing it as 137 herts and 300 memory, its like Super underclocked

yes i did, and its working

i do have a second monitor plugged into second card and its on

ok just found this out

its showing as DISABLED, maybe i gota go into BIOS

I Built our first miner with  some Computer with Parts my Brother Ordered like 2 weeks ago

anyway he ordered 2 5850's like i told him

Gigabyte, I currently have 2 crossfire cables connected to each other, i mean, the ones that come with Each Computer, they are currently on, not sure if im supposed to put one or put both??

the first Video card works fine, getting 270+ mhashes NOT overclocked or anything, everything is base

anyway, the second card is giving a Unusual Behavior in OPEN CL

i have cata drivers 11.4

i also have a second monitor hooked up to the second card just in case

so what would be the problem

also its only seeming to read only 1 vid card

i swear to god ill keep bumping this post till someone tells me what kind of RESISTORS to Buy

its not that hard to put together  clip the end, plug them in, ect ect

What kind of Resistors should one use? 1 watt 100 resistors?

i heard people say 75 ohm or something, what about 100 ohm? or 50 ohm? what the Hell is ohm?

how do you know what to use?

 1/2-watt resistors ?
 1/4-watt resistors ??
 1/8-watt resistors
 1-watt resistors ?

Which one do you think is better to use?

i have another question, who out there right now, is the top person telling people about bitcoins on radio station networks and on TV Media

and do you think that pooled mining will ultimately be the end game for bitcoin mining after the difficulty gets to a certian xxxxxxxx difficulty?

I have some questions, basically whats causing the EXPLOSION of difficulty?

as a noob to all of this, i would assume the value would go up with difficulty

i figured the difficulty would increase, just not that much that much

to me the only thing right now is to get 3 rigs going asap

then i guess just wait it out, no matter what difficulty, or whatever, till they pay themselves off atleast

ill be watching the difficulty in the coming weeks, and trying to figure if its worth investing more time / money in more equipment
