61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the safest way to protect you bitcoins? on: October 10, 2017, 02:47:40 PM
you can use original wallet as myetherwallet for example
What does myether wallet has to do with storing bitcoins, since the OP is looking for hardware solutions Ledger Nano S , KeepKey and Trezor are the popular hardware wallets in the market ,just check for other wallets too and take a decision, look for paper and offline wallet too since you are looking for the safest solution.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO SPOT A WINNING ICO on: October 10, 2017, 02:18:23 PM
the industry is so unpredictable now, that all we can check are people who are behind the project if they had past projects, well-known areas, publications
It is really hard to determine whether the advertised projects are true ,one thing we have to understand is it really possible for a development team to do two projects and if so could we trust them as they are not fulfilling with their first project ,most of the ICO are collecting funds in millions and what we have to think is that whether these projects are fulfilling what they are promising and doing their work for the funds they are collecting.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: October 10, 2017, 02:02:27 PM
The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.
With the amount the ICO we are seeing on a daily basis it is really hard to determine whether any given ICO is a good one,i stopped following these a long time ago when i encountered a heavy loss when i invested in an ICO which made me think other wise, initially it was a green heaven without a doubt but now a days the price tends to go down with every ICO after hitting the exchange.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex down? on: October 10, 2017, 01:19:56 PM
exit scam
If you have any proof you can submit that, they are earning a very good profit running the site and you think they could run away just like that, they are one of the reputed sites, but for the past one year they are suffering from massive DDOS and they could not handle everything as the site is having a lot of customers ,they have to upgrade or simply remove some coins until they become stable again.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, BitcoinCash & Poverty on: August 02, 2017, 10:49:32 PM
The BCC price is likely to match the bitcoin, it is exactly like bitcoin, but if the BCC price matches the bitcoin, what is the bitcoin fate, will the bitcoin stop being used?
If the price of BCH aka bitcoin cash matches the price of bitcoin, nothing happens,it will just move on like the rest of the coins in the crypto market, having more ideas is not a bad thing and if those ideas help in reaching bitcoin to a wider audience and more transactions,so be it,i would like to use both these currencies in the future, about the multiple split in the future, you need to have a underlying idea to back it up,if not it will just die . 66  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price directly before the fork on: August 02, 2017, 10:12:31 PM
I speculate the price of bitcoin will hit easily 5000 USD after the success of yesterday fork but BCC has lots of eyes on that market with 6000 profit increase any possibility for that market to handshake bitcoin price or it just hyped now .
Yes it will hit easily 5000$ USD. Because as the market said today news that a lot of people have invested and bought bitcoins from miners then we can see that in the ending of August the price of bitcoin will reach to $3500 as the current statics seen. So I would like to say that yes it will hit above $5000 in the ending of the year because it is growing too fastly after 1 Aug.
Do you really think that we will see a rally this month itself,if so is there any imposing factor to point that out,for me the price was really stable after the crash which almost took the price below $2000 and after that these valuations gives hope that another rally will break the $3000 resistance, either way i am expecting a good rally at the end of this year.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: "Bitcoin unstoppable?" Bill Gates says a few words on: August 02, 2017, 09:54:19 PM
I have seen this interview of Bill Gates but thanks for this wonderful video as it is a good remix of all the videos i have seen in the past,it will be really helpful for any newbies to trust and understand bitcoin and recently one of my girls just asked about it and asked for some videos but i could not provide a single video as there are a plenty of videos regarding it,so cheers mate.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase Faces Backlash, Legal Risk Over Bitcoin Cash on: August 02, 2017, 09:32:07 PM
I am not sure how things will go out in the end, they have already notified what their stand is regarding the fork and i think it will favor them when they reach the court and the user has to understand the risk even after the warning,so i do not think this will make any changes as i am sure that coinbase will inform they pose a security risk in accepting the forked coins to their wallets. 69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 02, 2017, 09:20:31 PM
If you want to buy bitcoin now then its too late for now. You need to wait after August 1 haha
I challenge you to buy now if you will.
What is with the challenge and i really did not understand what you mean by these challenges,if you really think it is a good price to purchase the coin ,just go forward .

it is always not too late to buy it!!! of course this will not be the case when u make from 6$ - 1000$ but u could gain on fluctuations. u just must be careful and choose the best moment with the lowest price! Good luck!!
Those good old days are over,it is not even possible to make that kind of profit, but even at this moment we could still hope that the price would explode and it is not a big hurdle to store a couple of bitcoin for the long term.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 02, 2017, 09:10:29 PM
To say BCC/BCH has failed really depends on how you define fail.  Bitcoin Cash (BCC) definitely created it's own fork and BCC is definitely priced well on the exchanges.  As others have stated, the true test will come in a few weeks when full trading and difficulty rates level out.
That is exactly a fair analysis, the fork happened a few hours ago and it is really difficult to predict what the future will be,they need to test their network and confirm everything is working fine and after a week we will know what the price would be ,another interesting thing is that, people are planning to sue coinbase as they are not giving the customers BCH and with the price soaring high i am sure we will see some legal actions too. Cheesy
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you would invest $100 in 2011 you would have 930k on: August 02, 2017, 08:59:13 PM
Why there is no scenario for late-2009 and 2010? At least one Bitcoin exchange was operational by the second half of 2009 (New Liberty Standard) and it was possible to purchase BTC for PayPal or Visa. The exchange rate was around BTC1,000 for 1 USD.
If i really had any clue that the price of bitcoin could spiral like this i would have purchased a hell lot of coins,i initially though about its uses and did not understand how this will make an impact but like everybody i was wrong, the pick up and adaptation was really fast and even if you got those coins for one dollar you would have sold everything when it hit $50. Cheesy
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: August 02, 2017, 08:43:45 PM
This happened many times in the past and will happen in the future as long as we have panic sellers and unbelievers of Bitcoin. It would have never dropped to that extent if there was no fake panic in the name of Hard fork.
The panic everyone had was not that fake,we did not know what would happen if there is a split ,if the big time investors move out and book their profits, but when the price started recovering after the first lock in period then everything settled down pretty fast and knew that we would not have a down ward rally ,i am now waiting for the rally after the fork.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with BCC on: August 02, 2017, 07:02:06 PM
I will be holding my coin for a long time as i am not in a hurry to sell of bitcoin cash too soon, the rally it had was pretty amazing and it was expected because it is a new coin and the pump was riding high for a while until it settled and started correcting,i saw some really huge volumes in bittrex ,i do not think this will die off soon,i am just keep it for the long term.
74  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is the BTC-e shut down legal? on: August 02, 2017, 06:51:13 PM
were the invasions of Iraq,Syria,Afganistan,Lybia etc. etc. legal?
hope I answered your question Smiley
That is a very good point, but they are playing the world police for a very long time and it is time to shut them out,i am not sure whether the said legal charges are even true, they are just setting an example with him so that the rest of the exchanges follow the KYC rules and so on and that is what i think about this case .
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex Takes the Lead in Bitcoin Cash Trading Volume on: August 02, 2017, 06:34:25 PM
I was lucky enough to be awake and caught the pairs of bittrex and bitfinex early and dumped my btc for more bcc/bch to ride this pump, totally paid off Smiley. The volume and speed of the books was absolutely insane and suspenseful on this pump on bittrex.
If you were able to get the coins when the trading stared then you are really lucky ,like everybody else i sold off my alts and moved my coins to my wallet and i am not able to trade for the day,the price rise was dramatic in bittrex and the price in kraken was having a huge difference, was watching the movements for a while and then closed the window as i am not having any coins to trade in the exchange. 76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI has your BTC-e password hash and 2FA codes! on: August 02, 2017, 05:00:26 PM
I didn't had 2FA enabled with my BTC-e account. And the password was also unique. So it seems like I don't need to worry about it. Even if the FBI is having my password and my email ID, what they are going to do with it?
If you were not holding any coins in the exchange then there is nothing to worry about it, i am not sure how secure the site was and since they are an exchange i am pretty sure they might have done a good job to secure the database,so even if they had the database it is not that easy to crack those passwords.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, who stops bitcoin being forked over and over again in the future? on: August 02, 2017, 04:40:05 PM
The exchange LiveCoin.net did not credited my new magic Internet money! I am disappointed. They claim that will enable BCH after it is 'official', but no action so far.
If they gave a clear notification that they will be crediting their users with the split coin then they might provide you the coins, but the safest thing was always moving your coins to your own wallet and it was said and notified everywhere and if you would have done that then you would have started using the fork coin.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TINFOIL HAT TIME: Imagine if Craig Wright proved he was Satoshi after the fork on: July 31, 2017, 10:28:18 PM
Imagine if Craig Wright proved he was Satoshi after the fork. What a shit show that would be LOL, I can't think of a better way to make a kagillion dollars than to prove my fork is the true vision of Satoshi himself.
In my mind he had plenty of opportunity to prove himself whether he was the real deal and even came on camera and claimed that he will prove this to the world and failed miserably and so i really do not think he will come back again. If the real Satoshi comes back it will be interesting.

80  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazon Giftcards [Legal 100%][35-50% Off][Legit 100%][Escrow] on: January 31, 2016, 06:18:06 PM
There is no point in using an escrow if the seller picks the escrow.

Are you willing to change to a different escrow (a verified one from the forums) if buyers want it?

I think you need to catch up! Tomatocage is one of the highest ranking members on the forum with a very high trust score on default trust level 1. I think that would class as verified haha. The only problem with him as escrow is the lack of time he now spends on the forum.
OP has Tomatocage confirmed he will escrow? I may be interested.

I'm just saying that normally the seller and buyer both agree on an escrow. That's not something the seller just picks themselves (because it could be beneficial to them if they're friends or w/e)
