61  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin and decreases in 2017 and 2018. on: October 23, 2018, 06:06:45 AM
The price was about 3800 till the end of August 2017 and then suddenly the market changed and the price reached to almost $20000 till December. In the second month of 2018 the price reversed and went to its previous actual price, but those 6 months made some investors millionaires and made some bankrupts. That bump was totally created temporarily.
No one is bankrupt yet unless for those who put all their life savings out of greed into the cryptocurrency space without even understanding the volatility risk. However, with some patience and as long as no one sells for loss, 1 bitcoin still remains 1 bitcoin and the future is glaringly bright for those who are smart enough to see it and I believe a time will come when even $6000 will be something impossible to get to see as far as the value of bitcoin is concerned. It is just simply because a lot of people are so keen about the short term that they lose track of what the possibility of the long term would be.

We have a full report on the price movements and stabilities or instabilities exist in 2017 last year and in this current year almost all the investors know very well about prices and their movements. We have been noticing that value is stable after a downfall we had price fewer than 10k dollar and now the price is still here. I hope that 2019 will be very good year for all of us as we are here to make sure we will get profit.
One thing is that the market will always have two different phases and that is either a bear phase or a bull phase. We had the bull phase throughout last year, and I remember so many times, we kept saying a huge correction was coming, but out of greed and ignorance, so many people and most especially the new investors who refused to listen and also had no knowledge of a market, tend to just stick with their greedy minds to getting rich fast instead. I believe years to come will most definitely be good and I have no doubt about that at all.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of the Bitcoin?? on: October 22, 2018, 05:00:13 PM
There is no point of speculating at these excess levels at all, in reality we are overreacting towards every single move bitcoin and crypto world is doing.

No, it won't be the end of bitcoin and no bitcoin won't be 100k tomorrow, these are the edges that we will never reach (or even if we do it will take too long time to matter in a discussion for today) in reality bitcoin will probably move max a 10%-20% levels up or down and thats about it. Why do we overreact this much whenever bitcoin is doing something ?

Because of fear, both sides have fear. Someone who has bitcoin fears that the price will not go up and writes "bitcoin will be 100k" so some other people will confirm his belief and he will feel better about his decision.

Someone who bought at $20k and sold at $7k is fearing it will go back up to $20k levels and he will lose money so he writes "bitcoin will be zero soon" and expects people to agree with him so he will feel better about selling. It is all about the fear of deciding on a wrong choice.
63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Actually Govern the Crypto Market on: October 22, 2018, 01:09:40 PM
The cryptocurrency market witlessness a rapid drop within the past 24hours with many coins falling by above 10%. The drop is so sudden that it can make one wonder what is going on. What can we say is responsible for this massive movement?
Nothing, that is the good and the bad part of crypto market in general. Back in the day when there was not so much money to be made by bitcoin from trading (because the marketcap was too little so if you put up like hundreds of million dollars into it than you would probably get the market either cripple or swing like hell and you wouldn't profit) and because there wasn't a way that people couldn't play with the market we were fine, we wanted to be unregulated and we wanted to have no government at all, a true "peoples money" so to say.

However, lately because of the whales getting their money into bitcoin and bitcoin becoming really high compared to what it was and the marketcap allowing millions of dollars to change hands everyday this caused an unregulated crypto market to be really manipulated and speculative which resulted with less trust and loss of interest. I am still behind it but it may come with a price.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much return I can expect from investing in IvyKoin? on: October 22, 2018, 12:10:57 PM
I am thinking about investing in IvyKoin. Is it a good idea? How much profit I can expect? Any suggestion?
Honestly the answer is always the same with these types of new coins, we don't know. Maybe ivy people will really go after what they are seeking and they will manage to make great headlines and success and the price of ivykoin will go up insanely and we will be all sad about not buying more.

Maybe they are just collecting your funds and will run away with it, who knows ? Nobody really knows aside from the team members of the coin hence I do not think you will get a proper response here, anyone that says it will go down or go up will be saying what they are believing subjectively, there is no objective answer to these types of questions.

However, if you are wondering the idea of the coin is actually solid and the purpose seems really valuable, if they actually work towards that goal and manage it than I am sure it will worth something one day.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth using the technical indicators in the cryptocurrency market? on: October 22, 2018, 11:10:50 AM
what do u think about the usability of technical indicators in the cryptocurrency market?
It helps during very short term trading. If you are going to buy something and than sell it right back again in couple hours at most than technical indicators are the way to go but if you are planning on investing even longer than 24 hours than it becomes worthless because crypto world is not depended on the indicators there are always something that happens out of the norm.

Sometimes a whale buys a lot of stuff, sometimes some exchanges delist some coins, sometimes there is "hacking" going on with an exchange, sometimes mtgox trustee sells coins at once and all that news. If something like that happens than all of your indicators are wrong and they will not help you, sometimes that news or the thing happened will help you sometimes it will hurt you but in the long run it is crazy and you should not depend on it.

If you want to use indicators you must trade quickly or it might not be really good for you in the end.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: October 22, 2018, 10:10:22 AM
I still dislike the notion of "banks" in crypto. I am a person who has never gotten a single loan from any banks, I do not use credit cards and preferably if I could I would totally never even have a bank account but unfortunately I need one to cash out my bitcoins easily.

Without banks I would have to find people to pay me in cash face to face to get my bitcoins and that is just really hard to do hence I have a bank account for that purpose only. Even when I was working at a job I had a bank account so they could deposit my salary there and cashed out all my salary on the day it was paid and never used the banks.

Now, as an individual who ran away from banks and came to crypto, thinking about a "crypto bank" really disgusts me, I hate places like xapo and coinsbank and so forth, they are not doing what crypto was suppose to be about.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guess when the next bull market will start! on: October 21, 2018, 03:20:35 PM
I agree with everyone, if the ETF gets passed than we will see a bull run. However there is another option, even if the etf doesn't get approved we still have some time at our hands enough to actually pump it ourselves with a hype train. If we can manage to make other people believe that the price usually goes up during late November early December like last year than we can get it to a higher price by just that hype.

In order to do that we need a collective "get your bitcoins before its too late" campaign and try to make sure everyone is working together on not selling their coins for a while until the price hits to a new all time high. If we can hold our coins and not sell than the price automatically needs to go up, right now we are dropping in price or staying still because sellers are too many, if we can manage to make sure they are not selling than the price will go up.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: The world that all money have become crypto currencies issued by government on: October 21, 2018, 11:03:41 AM
I think there are other merits and demerits, so I'm happy if you suggest other ideas.
Also another plus would be the limitation if we could. Laws change all the time, politics change, hell the people change in the world so it wouldn't be a set on stone type of thing but if lets say there was a set amount of dollar coin for example by the government that would help a lot.

Eventually rich could have all the dollar they want on the earth because the amount is increasing all the time with new prints constantly however if there was an amount that was purely set and not moving any higher than rich people would end up buying stuff and paying for them which would eventually make them go down a tiny bit whereas people who are dead poor would have a chance at survival. Much better option for everyone in the world, having a limited amount of money that's not going up is definitely a great news for poorer people and bad news for the rich.

By the way, do you want to live in such a world? I do not want to live in such a world that I can be monitored by the goverment, no matter how convenient it is.
This has been discussed many times here.A government backed cryto will not ensure any of the freedom, we are now enjoying with bitcoins. That is the core benefit of adopting a decentralized system.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Investor Sentiment on the Cryptocurrency market on: October 21, 2018, 05:16:16 AM
I guess it is definitely a risky environment to keep your investments in crypto, I have always found the best sides of crypto and used them such as getting paid in bitcoin for my work and paying other people to do stuff for me and building business ideas around crypto and so forth but the "investment" part of crypto has always scared me, I have been invested in it for over 6 years now however everyday I have lived with the fear of my money going up in smoke and when I wake up I will lose half of my investments.

It actually happened, I have invested in some stuff for a time and all of them got "hacked" or "scammed" or whatever and I have lost money, most recent being bitgrail and it goes waaay long ago if I have to talk about the first time but in general I stopped doing that because even having some money aside for some coins is now risky enough because even the coin owners could just take the funds they have and leave with a scam coin behind them.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 21, 2018, 03:48:20 AM
Why would any boxer fight any UFC fighter ?

It makes no sense at all, first of all Pacman can definitely win easily on a boxing match against both Mcgregor and Khabib, however if they fight in UFC style both mcgregor and khabib would destroy both Pacman and Manny. There is no reason for these to happen, why did Conor vs Mayweather happened I have no idea, it was already known getting into the ring and what was expected really happened.

Khabib should stick to UFC, dude has a chance to be the Mayweather of UFC and become undefeated champion and never give up his title. It is harder to fight in UFC and stay on top because the newer people coming up usually fight much more frequently and train constantly which makes them at peak condition whereas a champion who holds his title couple fights usually starts to make money thanks to movies and commercials and stuff like that which makes them spend time out of the ring and drops their condition to a regular fighter levels which results with them losing their title.

Khabib looks like someone who will not do that and keep on training and fighting instead of doing commercials and silly stuff and coke like Conor did so I see Khabib staying at top longer.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 20, 2018, 05:40:59 PM
Honestly I was expecting Cedi Osman to be better this year because without Lebron at the SF position he would get a lot more minutes but I wasn't expecting him to show up this much. I was scared of it because Tatum got a lot of minutes last year whereas cedi wasn't even getting minutes on playoffs and that made me question if ty lue will give Cedi the minutes he deserved. He got those minutes at this early in the season and if he did not showed up the way he did he would probably get benched again and not get a lot of minutes but he used those minutes to show that he is actually a good player and deserves attention and now it is harder for him to get less minutes. However the season is still early and he could still get benched or play less minutes if he starts to suck. The best part of his game is his energy, dude plays %110 anytime he is on the court and I hope that continues.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will go up like last year? on: October 20, 2018, 04:39:59 PM
We have all talked about how the price probably will not go up like last year and we have talked about how not every year the price does the same thing (including me I accept) however the truth is there is also absolutely no reason why it shouldn't do the same thing as well. Now we know "bitcoin doesn't have to go up in price every December, it hasn't increased in price every December since its creation" this is we get it down and all of us said the same thing.

However can you really wager money on the fact that it WON'T? No we can't say that neither, there is also a chance of doing a great skyrocketing in price as well, there is as much chance of bitcoin going up during December as going down. Hence we should not just let it go and hope it will go up some other time, from all these people thinking bitcoin goes up at the last quarter we can assume there would be even some more buyers soon during holiday times.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 19, 2018, 05:58:13 PM
I do not want to overreact from just game one but Lakers really didn't look good at all, the team is all filled with players who are individually good and the thought process was to get the young guys get more experience thanks to playing with Lebron and getting even some playoffs experience like Celtics are doing right now but if they are really not playing well together, individually they are alright but as a team they are really not. Good thing about this game was josh hart once again, he showed that even during a loss on a regular season he deserves the SG spot.

A team with Lonzo-Hart-Ingram-Kuzma would mean the future is basically there for Lakers and all they need is some playing time however if they do not click together it wouldn't matter how great they are as players and it would be all for nothing, they need to increase the team chemistry really quickly which is the hardest thing any Lebron team ever had.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks Just Suffered Their Worst Loss in Months on: October 19, 2018, 01:51:43 PM
It is clear that the global market movement is so big that the crypto one is ridiculous.
However, even if the bitcoin has been dragged down, it may be that this shock is positive and leads investors to head for the crypto. Let's see.
That is actually what I would even like to think at this point in time.

Looking at the fact that the stock market was still moving up hugely when crypto was going down, we could have just assumed that money from crypto was just moved into the stock market and then the market got overbought, and now what we are seeing is a correction.

Was it as a result of trade war in China, or the issue with the FED ? All I just see here is speculations and then at the end, it is just a matter of smart moneys trying to get out from a market that is due for correction anyway.

75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A banking app helped me beat my addiction on: October 19, 2018, 09:25:21 AM
After reading this article, I would say the main character mentioned in this article does have strong determination to fight against his own gambling addiction

I agree. This is the reason why a lot of people are addicted to gambling and no one is stopping them making them more plunged through in to that addiction and people around them is not giving them some determination, some ray of light that can help them to save that one certain gambler. There are a lot of gambler out there that can't be stopped from gambling but we are mistaken that they can't stop, we can make them stop if we have the determination to do that so. That is also what they need to be given, determination to stop and not determination to gamble more.
Strong determination is one thing that matters a lot when it comes to quitting any form of addiction. Even after some people end up getting sober for a while, the chances of still getting to go back and give it a try will always be there, be it, gambling, meth, alcohol, hard drugs, and name them.

It only take the idea of having something that would really put you in check and at the same time, you telling yourself enough is enough, is one thing that would always help you when it comes to curbing gambling addiction or any form of addiction at all.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: October 19, 2018, 06:47:55 AM
Personally I know many great gamblers, and they all have the same thing in common... Money managements skills. Normally being a gambler tends to come with being poor at managing your money. Most gamblers will end up losing a lot more than they think simply because they are not managing their money properly. So learn this first, keep track of every penny going in and out, and make sure you're never losing more than you can afford.
Experienced gamblers do not gamble every time, because they also know that regular gambling will not in their favor. When they realize that now it is time to quit, they don’t wait in casino and leave the place. A good gambler always gamble only those games in which he has great experience and he can use gambling tactics and strategies as well to win the game.

Also, a good gambler will know his limit and will never break his own rule. Once he reaches the targets, win or lose, he will immediately leave the game. Good gambler has plan while the bad one will follow their emotions.
Of course, limit is one thing that has always been the thing that a lot of gamblers tend not to take into consideration most of the time and in that case, they flop so badly that they tend to make wrong decisions most of the time when it comes to their inability to put themselves in check and in control.

As long as you know how to not overstep your boundaries, place a limit for yourself and do things accordingly without having to overdo things or expecting something you cannot get, then you have been able to set a principle for yourself to guide you into not becoming an addict, which is the only thing that can make you a good gambler.
77  Economy / Marketplace / Re: WHY INVESTORS (INVESTORS) SHOULD ATTEMPT TO ETH AT THIS TIME? on: October 18, 2018, 06:33:34 PM
I invested in ETH and face a huge huge loss into this. I had faith in it but this is one of the worst currency ever. I made a purcahse of $5000 but what I get, after waiting and hoping to get it float, I kept on sinking. Now I get only $800. This is insane!
I wish I have never invested into ETH.
Well, you have not faced a huge loss unless you end up selling at loss and bailing out. That is one thing a lot of people do not understand, you are buying to hold just like in a spot market, and the only thing required of you is patience.

Ask those who were able to make patience a watchword in the past and they will tell you better that you should not even be wasting your time thinking about now, focus on the future and you will see how easy it gets when you start seeing a lot of people considering what you are really in huge profit as low, then you will know why patience is the best and if you feel you cannot have that patience, then, go and learn how to trade.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: October 18, 2018, 11:53:46 AM
As of now to me most promising cryptos are BTC, ETH, BCH, Dogecoin, TRON and Monero.
Apparently, bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron and monero are not bad ideas but dogecoin and BCH ? Come on! First and first let me even start with Dogecoin. This is one market that is even over bought already and presently in a corrective phase, and I would not even try to attempt to start picking it at this point, asides from that, it is a coin with no limited supply and was actually meant to be a joke, so it is not something I would really classify as a long term investment, except that it can be good for trading once in a while, since it seems we have some market for it but that is what it is as far as I am concerned.

For BCH however, that is just some unnecessary shit fork coin and over time people will realize that increase in block size is not the solution and over time, it would only bring about centralization.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: October 18, 2018, 01:50:02 AM
Not all play the same way and not all games are played the same. For example dice is an in-between, there are people who are trying to figure out a scheme that would make them earn money constantly and try to beat the house but there are also people who are out there (like me) just like the chat and gamble in weird ways to just have fun and spend quality time.

There are poker players who go out there to have fun, many people played zynga and so forth online play money games and they want to test out their real life talents (usually fail) and there are professional poker players that make millions of dollars every year. In the end it all depends on how you play as a  person and the game changes a lot as well, you do not play slot machines competitively, it is pure fun game whereas poker tournaments are much more competitive.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin in E-Sports.. on: October 17, 2018, 07:59:02 PM
Will the e-sports(gaming) industry accepts bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency?

I always bet on OneHash. You can also watch streams there!

www.onehash.com
There are actually so many of the right now in the market and for the most popular one we have known about in this forum which is nitrogen sports, I would say there are so many more to come. Asides that, I believe there are even some that are not much publicized hugely which I somehow believe it is something that would have been in existence hugely considering that the esport gaming sector is a pretty big one and developers will most definitely want to tap into it when it comes to adding up cryptocurrency. The only one I am pretty much familiar with anyway is just Nitrogen sports.
