61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 18, 2018, 03:34:36 AM
Yes, it's risky. Bitcoin prices fluctuate, you'll be put in a very difficult position if this turns out negatively.

Any type of investment is a risk and bitcoin is not an exception to this. It also depends on your strategy, fluctuation of the market and how much you invest.

There's always a risk in holding. It can beneficial but it can also lead to missed opportunities.

So this isn't a fork?

Hi Amrijol,

We do not see Bitcoin Zero as a fork and will not issue airdrops. We are a research team dedicated to observing the implications of extreme supply deflation in the cryptocurrency market. BCZ aims to create an application for event-driven deflations for future blockchain development. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: January 17, 2018, 04:55:17 PM
Of course, it can. Social media can bring in new people into the cryptocurrency community and in doing so increase the demand. It's a fast way to communicate and spread information to the public about bitcoin. However, the information advertised through the social media is the most important.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: January 17, 2018, 12:36:22 PM
It's probably not wise to panic sell, however, to hold or sell your bitcoin depends on how much loss it'll potentially result to, risk management plans.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT COIN IS WORTH HOLDING FOR ATLEAST A YEAR FROM NOW? on: January 17, 2018, 10:20:53 AM

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: January 17, 2018, 10:11:17 AM
Almost every altcoin is currently down making it a good time to buy but keep track of the market, it'll be a difficult situation if you rush and buy now while the market continues its drastic price dip.

This thread went pretty silent. Is there any specific reason for that which I missed or is the project still on track?

Hi dzonikg28,

Don't worry Bitcoin Zero is definitely still on track. Our team has been working diligently on a new promotion which will propel the Bitcoin Zero to the next level.

Can you share any details about it yet or at least give a hint what it will look like? Is the community going to be involved?

Hi dzonikg28,

The Bitcoin Zero team will be launching a promotional campaign on Facebook and Twitter. Participants will have the chance to win BCZ tokens. Further details will be announced on our social media on Thursday, January 18, 2018, 12:00 pm AWST.

How does buyback program work sir?
so if it is token, ofcourse there is event preico and ico, when is it?
and what is the price of bitcoin zero at the moment?

Hi pakupayung,

The buyback program will be launched prior to the Bonfire event. The buyback program will only be announced when the price of each BCZ token is below 80% of its original value or in cases such as a market collapse to provide the short-term investors time to sell their BCZ tokens to our buyback program or to other investors.

Unfortunately, we will not run an ICO since a few of our team members have had a negative experience because of the developers withholding the investor's assets until the release date. We intend to give our investors the options not to miss out any opportunities in the market before investing in our platform.

The initial price of BCZ will be 1BCZ = $0.50 USD

Hi maliboom,

We will be selling each coin to exchanges like EtherDelta, HitBTC and etc. by January. BCZ's unique selling point is its Bonfire Events which burns an announced number of coins at a certain date, to trigger the price growth created by the shortage of coin supply. We will also support our ability to burn the coins by issuing buyback strategy to provide a safety net for the investors to prevent losses and to sustain our ability to burn BCZ coins. If you have further questions about the coin please feel free to contact us at support@bitcoinzero.net or visit our website at http://bitcoinzero.net/. Thank you for your interest in our coin.

So your plan is to sell all the tokens to exchanges which will then sell them to us? Why not cut out the middle man and sell them to us directly?

Hi the artful bodger

We initially planned to sell the coins to the investors directly, however, selling to the investors directly will brand us as ICO. Some of our team members have had a negative experience in ICOs and we do not want our investors to potentially experience the limitations of us, the developers, holding their assets until the release date.
