63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 09:45:52 PM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
I think that it is a sharp fluctuation in price, a remittance time and a remittance commission
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 09:38:25 PM
We all know that bitcoin is now rising and rising. And before this year ends it is expected to rise doubled the price right now. Is it too late to invest Bitcoin?
Although it is not too late, I think that it is difficult to gain tenfold profits in a short time like the old days.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: January 13, 2018, 09:26:17 PM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?
If no one knows it will not develop. I think promotion is important
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering on: January 13, 2018, 09:15:35 PM
Are blockchain-based transactions easy for money laundering?
I think that transactions of bit coins are impossible because they are disclosed. Even if anonymity is a characteristic currency, it will be discovered when changing to a legal currency.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder's dilemma on: January 13, 2018, 09:09:40 PM
Hey guys, I've decided to ask you - what whould you do in this problemmatic situation?

Suppose you have some bitcoins (let's say 22) and you bought them / got them a few years ago very cheap, and now you see it's price and.... what to do?!! Will you take the profit and go away, or sit and hold further? Suppose you're not going to buy more. But when to sell?

When I remember, I will sell half immediately

69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: January 13, 2018, 08:43:12 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Bitcoin's block chain is safe.
However, the exchanges are hacked and there is a risk of theft.
The most dangerous thing is to lose Bitcoin with my mishandling. That is myself to be careful.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: January 13, 2018, 08:31:31 PM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
Even if it survives, it will be completely different from the present system. The world after the revolution by quantum computers.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: January 13, 2018, 02:16:46 PM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
I think so, too. I'm looking forward to a highly convenient altocoin to compensate for the shortcomings of bitcoin
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 02:08:52 PM
Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/why-arent-there-more-women-in-bitcoin/?utm_source=Why
There are many engineers and investors in profession who have many men who know bit coins. If bit coins become widely known, the ratio of men and women will be filled.

75  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Best countries to live in for BTC holders on: January 13, 2018, 06:39:35 AM
Hi all,

With ever increasing BTC prices, where can BTC holders move to minimize taxes? I'm confused by many of the tax laws that I'm reading about. It seems like clear rules have yet to emerge in many countries. Some countries have a wealth tax, which means that you must sell a certain amount of your BTC every year, which is regrettable. I think one should try to avoid these countries at least. But other than that, it is only the capital gains tax that is relevant?

Edit: Maybe this thread suits better in the Bitcoin Discussion section?
I heard that Singapore is good from the tax system
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: January 13, 2018, 06:29:59 AM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
Although the unemployment rate will not decrease, I think that you will gain leisure by investing in encryption currency
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: January 01, 2018, 06:58:19 AM
I want to invest diversely not only in bit coins but also in ICO
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: January 01, 2018, 06:42:41 AM
At the moment the physical money is much more stable and it is used in every day transactions but digital currency can bring so much profits and people are just discovering it which makes it with a huge potential.
Physical money is ok to use in the small transaction but if you want to do any big transaction physical money is not safe. With using digital currency, we can send money in just a few seconds. I think now people are using all digital currencies as an asset they don't like to use it in real life, but they like to make money from digital currencies.
Surely I think so too
Cashless society will accelerate in the future
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) is a shame to the crypto-community. on: January 01, 2018, 12:51:00 AM
I do not think XRP contradicts the principle of virtual currency. For now.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin reach 40k at the end of 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 10:43:07 PM
It seems that January is going down for a while Undecided
