Your worry is reasonable. During the past 3 weeks, bitcoin has experienced a dramatic decrease, which understandbly led to confusion to many bitcoin owners. However, this situation ends soon because bitcoin is a door open to new era of cryptocurrency that is beneficial to us. Governments are still under their way to decide which is the best ways to make use of the real appearance of cryptocurrency and weight up pros and cons of this. Until then, believe in your way and your decision

I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently. But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc. The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:
-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make. -The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable. -And maybe others that I'm not aware of.
Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.
All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
yes i worried sometimes about bitcoin future but i cant stop to praying that bitcoin in the future is become a healthy and become a wonderful currency in the future.that's why i want to be part of bitcoin till the rest of my life never have a problem.

This is an interesting topic. With BTC dropping quite a bit today, maybe ETH is the better option. ETH has also risen quite a lot, but then that only leaves me to think that maybe this is somewhat of an artificial pumping made by a group of people. Yes, Bitcoin transactions are currently very slow, however what ETH cannot provide as opposed to bitcoin is the market cap of 21 million BTC. ETH has an unlimited supply, so in essence it is just another fiat on the blockchain. You can 'print' as much as you want, meanwhile with BTC you cannot. However, Bitcoin will drastically fall when countries start banning it or miners start abandoning ship. This is the only possibility that could put an end to Bitcoin, and also other cryptocurrencies.

There is nothing to worry about bitcoin. If you have a self confidence then proceed from what you have started and just see the bright side of the bitcoin. This can help you to focus on your goal like investing through bitcoin.

I am not so frightened about bitcoin, because bitcoin's prices are increasing day by day and sometimes it decreases, then there is a lot of demand for it and discussion of bitcoin's progress in different countries.

The crytocurrency as a whole is at its early stage. What I am worried is that bitcoin will lost its dominance in the future.

You're right a lot of people depends upon bitcoin especially those who finds it hard to get a job. Bitcoin serves as their source of income and we all know that bitcoin is not stable, it is too risky to depend on bitcoin for your daily needs. I'm sure they are also worried about their future which means they won't entrust their future to bitcoin.

You worry too fast without much reason. Wait and see how things stabilize.
I think the worries are more or less justified, I think this is going to be resolved eventually but to deny the network is pretty much unusable at the moment due to the high fees and the time it takes to get a confirmation is to be in denial, bitcoin is not doing so well right now and that is why the price has decreased.

There is a lot of FUD being pumped about BTC now. While the fundamentals remain true we are witnessing an evolution. And as far as fees go there are many options, LTC, ETH, DASH, ZEC, XMR and others. BTC still remains a highly secure store of value, divisible and transportable. It's silly to pay the high fees when so many alternatives exist.

you do not worry too much with BTC, you see how far how BTC development is there so far can compare to BTC? I do not think so, so do not worry too much maybe even the future of BTC will definitely be better than now.

I also have difficulties understanding the BTC price evolution since it is such a fragile system. With the increasing number of time needed for smaller transactions to confirm, all the hard forks, etc. it doesn't take much more to see that panic is taking over the market and that is going to be the end of Bitcoin (and all other cryptocurrencies).

I don't think there is any chance bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will replace fiat in the near future. Cryptocurrency do have huge advantages over fiat, but the revolution will take a long time.

There is always a time when bitcoins value is decreasing but it does not matter, The market is volatile, It only means that there will be always a down time in order for us to invest and that what makes people think of their own strategy in order to earn more profit from the market.

I think so, too. I'm looking forward to a highly convenient altocoin to compensate for the shortcomings of bitcoin

If you're worried to the point where it affects your health, it means you're in to heavy. If it's just concern, well, that's completely normal with any kind of investment.

I think if you are that worried you are taking it to the extremes then i think that is so dangerous. I think you don't need to take that far too much since we all know that digital currencies do not go at the same way and it always changes it price. It is volatile so the price do not stay in the same high price but there are time that it will be going down. Better rest it easy and start doing other stuff like altcoins.

My suggestion if you make a digital coin as a livelihood, it's better to temporarily switch from bitcoin, but not to leave bitcoin, because for now bitcoin is in desperate need of support regardless of the problems that hit bitcoin lately.
