yeah, ninjalaunch!  mining at cipherpool... anyone knows how the payout works? Payout is sent asap a found block is confirmed. Love how respectful and healthy our community is, compared to most of the other threads here! Just two things: - Wordpress nav-bar was viewable again - I'm missing the informations on the website, how long projects can be submitted or what the general timeframe is for submitting/voting or how long crowdfunding projects must run at least, to be in this timeframe. This would be really helpful for newly attracted people or old hands.  |

Btw. can you please disable the top wordpress-bar for non-admin/legitimate users (which are only registered for the votings) at the foundation website. @functions.php if(!current_user_can('manage_options'))

Thanks for the detailed update derbrause, this is what I've missed over the last days! Good to read that there is a lot of activity running in the background.
Do you also have any plans to promote EMC2 outside the 'crypto-world' (science pages etc.)?

What's going on with our beloved coin? I'm missing the marketing power, which is surely available... Twitter account and reddit wasn't updated regarding the end of the project-voting, forum activity is way less then at / after launch, no feedback to any of my thoughts / questions from the Einsteinium team etc. etc. ... have you depleted your initial motivation?  Stagnation will let a coin slowly die, in this fast crypto-world. Low coin-price results in less miners results in less funding capital results in a coin which isn't attractive anymore (what nobody wants). If there are no news it's ok and absolutely normal because it's not possible to have plenty of them every day. But now the very first voting was done... a really big milestone for EMC2 and I didn't find any news about it at the internet. |

You guys are the true hero's here! The Einsteinium Team Great work you all have done! Please keep us updated what the winner says about EMC2 and especially the voting/funding. Btw. I favour the idea to spend my mined EMC2s to my favourite project. This can be easily done.... just create for every nominated project a unique wallet-address and post it to the project-description. Btw. would love to read what your next steps or future plans are to heighten the profile of the foundation and EMC2? I guess for most of the people confidence it's really important to see, that the first project was successfully funded. This was almost done so just use the power of the moment to push the foundation to the next level. |

I mean, if the winner was near any foundation-member, wouldn't it be nice if a symbolic-cheque was handed over directly at the winners-location (with taking photos etc)?
This can have a huge marketing impact and can also be used on the foundation website for successfully funded projects.
Btw. do you stay in contact with the nominated projects? Backlinks from the project to the foundation website will also attract more people and is a huge gain in integrity.

Das ist ja aergerlich mit dem Zubehoer!!! Ich hab hier noch ein 1000W Netzteil rumfliegen und von diversen GPU's noch die Adapterkabel. Daraus was schnitzen sollte kein Problem sein, aber wieviele von den Dingern kann ich an einem PC PSU betreiben? Die 12V DC Plugs die in den Miner kommen, sind dabei, wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, oder? USB Kabel ggf. auch? |

point my rig's since launch to EMC2... nothing to do, what a boring time. just switch to a p2pool only for doing something with it. this is the first time I'm using a p2pool. nice and easy setup, no hassle with registration etc... looking forward to compare the results after 24h. |

What do you mean with our opening post? A new post? This post? Please be clear  LMAO So ridiculous the question is, this is not a serious answer as expected. If you want that coin to succeed, it's not a good idea to scare away the miners or interested people. |

Coin-value is not only important for the short profit miner.
Imagine how you can support science projects if the price of the coin was way higher than now. Maybe it's possible to fund more than one projekt per epoch or maybe we are the important backers to get the pledge for projects which aren't really attracting (non-science)people at kickstarter or indiegogo.
