62  Economy / Lending / idev's Short-Term Micro Loan Service | Collateral is Mandatory! on: June 19, 2016, 08:20:53 PM
I'm providing short-term micro Bitcoin loans for eligible BCT members.

Quote
Borrow Any Amount Up To: BTC0.11

Loan Applicant Requirements:
1. You must be a Member, Full Member, Senior, Hero or Legendary Member with Neutral or Positive trust.
2. Signed message from a publicly posted address 3 months old or older.
3. Valid Collateral is mandatory, which will be held by myself or by a third-party escrow service. If escrow is used you will pay any fee's or charges due.
3. Collateral should be above the actual loan amount (Approximately 114.00% or more of the loan principal).
4. Applicants should submit loan applications in this very thread and not through BCT PM.

Maximum Loan Duration:
All loans can be taken out for a maximum period of 7 calendar days only.

Loan Interest Rate:
All loans are subject to non compounding interest ranging from 0.09 - ∞% applied daily until the end of the loan duration.

Late/Non Repayment / Default Clause:
If more than 2 days has passed after the due date without contact, your loan will be marked as defaulted and your collateral (if any) will be sold/kept by me. If I get more BTC from selling the collateral than the loan amount, I will keep the excess. Late repayments without contact will incur a 1.00% penalty interest applied daily and compounded.

Acceptable Collateral:
I accept stable altcoins with a high volume as collateral. The value of these coins should be at least 114.00%+ of the loan amount, but it depends. Bitcointalk.org accounts are also accepted, but not always. I won't accept accounts that are under Full Member/Pot. Full Member. I don't accept physical collateral, and most other types of digital collateral. Feel free to ask if you aren't sure.

Apply for a loan using the format below:
Code:
[b]BCT Username:[/b]
[b]Loan Purpose:[/b]
[b]Loan Amount:[/b]
[b]Loan Collateral:[/b]
[b]Your BTC Address:[/b]

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] FIBO | Crowdsale | Service to play music and films instantly & legally on: June 14, 2016, 06:40:37 PM
FIBO
Pay, Play, and Profit
https://www.fibo.io/

Fibo is a service to play music, podcast and films instantly & legally.
Even better, you can share and profit from the ones you played.

TECHNOLOGY
Secure by design, Fibo’s core is built to be the platform that underlays all communication between computers.
Instead of torrent, the network uses Fibo P2P protocol, that offers a distributed cloud storage with self-healing through Reed-Solomon algorithm. Internally, all peers are organized in small groups (Families) and are managed by their Family Head, elected peer with highest score, any changes in the family structure (JOIN, DEATH, STORE, HEAL) are propagated through the DHT table shared between the peers.

The code have been developed and accumulated to 23k lines since April, 2014

THE BENEFIT
Fibo is building a content marketplace beneficial for both users and music/film labels (and other content owners). Content owners are looking heavily for ways to control content pricing (they are not happy with subscriptions). If miners can provide a way to gain reasonable revenue, content owners are happy to share the profit.

Any new media content can be uploaded to the network by users and priced according to their copyright owners. Initially, the revenue generated by a content is distributed 40% to the media hosts, i.e. Fibo users/miners, 50% to their copyright owners, and 10% to Fibo.

THE MINER
A Miner is the user that uploaded or streamed a content and hosts it.
Hosted content generates passive revenue to its miners, and the miner pool is limited to average of 200 peers.
For each stream, the revenue will be 40% of the payment and divided by the number of hosting peers. For achieving maximum profitability the miner will be required to have high uptime or being the Pioneer Miner, i.e., the first uploader.

THE PIONEER
Any Fibo client can be a miner and discover new content by uploading it to the network.
THE FIRST uploader will be rewarded with a permanent spot in the miner pool. Meaning that the miner will serve and profit of all streams of that content, provided they are online and serving.

POTENTIAL
There are around 30M copyrighted songs on Spotify + millions of other kind of media to be discovered.
Since the average pricing of a song stream is $0.01, and a trending song can hit 200M streams, it represents a potential revenue of $800K distributed to the song hosts.

Being a Pioneer Miner of a trending song means a huge profit.

CROWDSALE
The platform is ready for Music streaming, a demo can be found at https://www.fibo.io/music (requires signup)
Copyrighted songs will be available after negotiation with music labels.
To aid in the development we offer early investors a chance to be the a Pioneer Miner before anyone else.
The goal of Fibo is to raise 200 BTC and venture capital investments achieving roughly $1,000,000 in valuation.

The funding will be allocated for:
- Server expenses
- Salary of Full-Time Developers
- Negotiate deals with Artists/Labels
- Community creation
- Legal counsel

On top of being the most profitable miner, early investors also gets a bonus in their deposits.

30% bonus
10th June, 2016 - 1st August, 2016

20% bonus
1st August, 2016 - 1st September, 2016

10% bonus
1st September, 2016 - 1st October, 2016

GETTING ACCESS
Each account registered through www.fibo.io gets a Bitcoin Wallet and its respective wallet address for deposit.
A background task in both website and serve side detects incoming transactions automatically and updates the account balance.

Fibo maintains a Early Investor's Ranking in order to control the network expansion.
To provide the extra benefit of a investor being a pioneer miner Fibo will release the access to the top ones once a week, starting on 18th July, 2016.

PUBLIC RELEASE
Fibo and its network services will be open to Early Investors on 18th July, 2016 and released to public on 1st October, 2016.

BACKGROUND
Fibo is a two man team with a mission to build the Internet again.
We strongly believe that File Sharing (ie. Piracy) can be beneficial and profitable to both Miners and content owners.

The founders combines the nordic expertise of P2P world. The project will be incorporated as a Limited Company during the crowdsale.

Why the forum administration does not remove that forum is beyond me. Having the investor based forum here is actively supporting ponzi  schemes, If the administration is really serious about preventing ponzi scams why would they keep that forum alive which enables anyone to openly promote such schemes.
