TECHNOLOGY
Secure by design, Fibo’s core is built to be the platform that underlays all communication between computers.
Instead of torrent, the network uses Fibo P2P protocol, that offers a distributed cloud storage with self-healing through Reed-Solomon algorithm. Internally, all peers are organized in small groups (Families) and are managed by their Family Head, elected peer with highest score, any changes in the family structure (JOIN, DEATH, STORE, HEAL) are propagated through the DHT table shared between the peers.

The code have been developed and accumulated to 23k lines since April, 2014

THE BENEFIT
Fibo is building a content marketplace beneficial for both users and music/film labels (and other content owners). Content owners are looking heavily for ways to control content pricing (they are not happy with subscriptions). If miners can provide a way to gain reasonable revenue, content owners are happy to share the profit.

Any new media content can be uploaded to the network by users and priced according to their copyright owners. Initially, the revenue generated by a content is distributed 40% to the media hosts, i.e. Fibo users/miners, 50% to their copyright owners, and 10% to Fibo.

THE MINER
A Miner is the user that uploaded or streamed a content and hosts it.
Hosted content generates passive revenue to its miners, and the miner pool is limited to average of 200 peers.
For each stream, the revenue will be 40% of the payment and divided by the number of hosting peers. For achieving maximum profitability the miner will be required to have high uptime or being the Pioneer Miner, i.e., the first uploader.

THE PIONEER
Any Fibo client can be a miner and discover new content by uploading it to the network.
THE FIRST uploader will be rewarded with a permanent spot in the miner pool. Meaning that the miner will serve and profit of all streams of that content, provided they are online and serving.

POTENTIAL
There are around 30M copyrighted songs on Spotify + millions of other kind of media to be discovered.
Since the average pricing of a song stream is $0.01, and a trending song can hit 200M streams, it represents a potential revenue of $800K distributed to the song hosts.

Being a Pioneer Miner of a trending song means a huge profit.

CROWDSALE

Copyrighted songs will be available after negotiation with music labels.
To aid in the development we offer early investors a chance to be the a Pioneer Miner before anyone else.
The goal of Fibo is to raise 200 BTC and venture capital investments achieving roughly $1,000,000 in valuation.

The funding will be allocated for:
- Server expenses
- Salary of Full-Time Developers
- Negotiate deals with Artists/Labels
- Community creation

GETTING ACCESS
Each account registered through www.fibo.io gets a Bitcoin Wallet and its respective wallet address for deposit.
A background task in both website and serve side detects incoming transactions automatically and updates the account balance.

Fibo maintains a Early Investor's Ranking in order to control the network expansion.
To provide the extra benefit of a investor being a pioneer miner Fibo will release the access to the top ones once a week, starting on 18th July, 2016.

PUBLIC RELEASE
Fibo and its network services will be open to Early Investors on 18th July, 2016 and released to public on 1st October, 2016.
