61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In what to invest $2k? on: March 11, 2017, 10:15:58 PM
Hi,
Not sure if it is for this toipc, please move it if needed. As the title says, I want to put $2k in something new, not buying coins, I have them in btc. What can be the best ROI and most secure way?
What you will do if you have additional 2k?
Thanks

There is no real guaranteed way to profit on your coins.

If you want profit on your coins, be prepared to lose it all. That should be the sort of mentality you have, instead of being 100% confident in your investments.

I'd say that finding a proven method that involves fiat currency usually goes well with bitcoin. For example there are a lot of buy fiat with low fees and sell them with high fees opportunities around.
62  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Skyllex - what do you think? on: March 11, 2017, 10:14:22 PM
Hi guys,

I would like to hear your opinion about https://skyllex.com

Website and all informations looks trustworthy, but the interest rate is so high that looks for me very suspisious..

Do anyone have any experience with this service?

Typical HYIP/ponzi scheme.

Please do realise that guaranteed interest isn't possible at such high rates. If they offer you "investment plans" then they are defintiely a ponzi, there is no doubt.

SSL certificates can be bought.

And I'm pretty sure that company registration certs can be bought as well in certain countries and they don't mean anything.
63  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling YouTube Channel With 140,000 Subscribers Getting 2 Million Monthly Views on: March 11, 2017, 10:13:12 PM
Please send me the youtube channel link in PM if that is possible.

But no way i'm paying 4 BTC For it lol. EVerything goes for relatively cheaper on this forum.

I'd say that if you're looking to sell it do so over a trading platform that does not involve bitcoin, or do so in private. You'll get a better price for it.
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another "Want to start" thread on: March 11, 2017, 10:11:02 PM
Iranus covers it pretty well.

Stay away from any ponzis though. HYIPs are only for experienced players and they have a ton of experience. You have no chance against the big players, and admin, you would think perhaps that the monitors are saying it's paying, but really they are only paying the monitors and not you.

My advice it to sell your labour, you seem to have a lot of free time, so use it wisely.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: March 11, 2017, 10:09:32 PM
So when does everyone think we will breach, and hopefully stay over, the $1300 mark again?

Not sure but it has never really gone that price and consistently stay above it before.

We're staying above $1100 consistently even after the ETF decision, which is good in my opinion.

Probably will go to above $1300 consistently by the end of the year in my opinion based off the quality support the community is given and the optimism traders are having right now. Just my personal opinion.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to raise money on: March 11, 2017, 10:08:25 PM
When starting a coin, how does one do a offering to raise capital if they have a solid game plan

Usually you do a crowdsale. However there is no esay way of raising capital as everyone here are experienced with the altcoin fundraising process and probbaly not going to fall for yoru scam if you were going to do one.

you have to offer a solid timeline of events and stick to it, and show proof of your dev team.

Good luck.
67  Economy / Services / Re: PERSONAL TRAINER <<GET THE BODY OF YOUR DREAMS>> CHANGE YOUR LIFE on: March 11, 2017, 10:05:25 PM
May i ask, whats the point of paying you, a newbie on this forum, without any proof, money to train someone?

What are your advantages over a f2f personal trainer?

Do you have any qualifications?
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash on the rise again on: March 11, 2017, 10:02:09 PM
Well sometimes I wonder if some Dash whale is just pumping it for fun, lol.

But yeah, crazy streak for dash but it'll come to an end eventually.

People are hot headed right now about their investment making 10% daily or more, good time to short IMO.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: March 11, 2017, 10:01:13 PM
My opinion is wait. You've got plenty of time for bitcoin to rise again. The ETF didn't affect the price much so thats a good thing.

It means that community doesn't care what SEC's opinion about bitcoin is, it cares about what bitcoin community thinks about itself.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Are central banks losing control? on: March 11, 2017, 10:00:21 PM
Eight years after the crisis of 2008-09, central banks are still injecting $200 billion a month into the global financial system to keep it from imploding.

Are central banks losing control?

Well sooner or later yes.

They have never had full control of the economy. No way they can predict what the people are thinking and all that.

Interest rates can only be manipulated to a certain point and then it's not going to work.

Same with printing more money.
71  Economy / Services / Re: [No name Facebook] I'm providing facebook account with no name. on: March 11, 2017, 08:16:42 PM
This service is like saying I'll create you a Google account without a mobile phone number attached to it...

You're stealing others Ideas's off the internet and reusing it to make profit... And it's just common knowledge really.

And you're charging $15 for it. That's the worst part.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UBIQ - UbiQuoin - WeLikeIt! - (NEW Topic) on: February 21, 2017, 06:08:04 AM
It seems some big whale is trying to dump the coin to buy more UBIQ coins otherwise its price would have now crossed 300 satoshis. But its a good chance to buy more UBIQ coins at a cheaper price..I hope its price would soon cross 500 satoshis.I think its the most under valued coin now.

yeah definitely. i think it is a good time to buy UbiQuoin as well.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: December 27, 2016, 11:40:02 PM
I think it is a good idea right now to liquidate all your stocks and stuff like that before it is too late and nobody wants it anymore. The stock market is doomed to crash and is so fragile that even a small event can trigger its crash.

it would be interesting to see how the stock market responds to Mr. Trump's election as president, when he actually gets on board.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 27, 2016, 11:38:57 PM
Well right now I'm bagholding BTC because I believe that it is going to rise in price, to $1000+ or even another All time high.

The price is already hiking, I bought in at $600 a bunch of them and now enjoying the profits.

Still not selling though Smiley

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 7d / 30d Volume info on Alt-exchanges on: December 27, 2016, 11:17:04 PM
Check out coinmarketcap.com/exchanges and also cryptocompare.com.

Both are very helpful with altcoin stuff in general, coinmarketcap more mainstream but cryptocompare has more detailed information and real time tracking of transactions happening on exchanges.

Hope this helps.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signed message... breaking? on: December 27, 2016, 11:08:26 PM
So i am writing with signed message question again, this time i couldn't find info.

So signed messages proves something, for example, that we are owner of wallet or account or something else(most common uses that i found on this forum), and everyone trusts it.

But what if person that signs it, lies about it? It shouldn't be hard to use tor, new wallet, and that's all. So why signed messages are so trusted?

If you are confused with like, someone can lie about themselves and scam anyone, then you didn't get the concept completely.
I think people are allowed to provide their bitcoin address on their profile as well they have a thread where they can stake their address and as long as it gets older and you gain trust, then only you will be proven trustworthy, else using new wallet and signing a message for anything couldn't get your work done if your intention is to scam. That's why you need to stay alert, and if you are unsure about such problems, you can let a third party to come between that person and you for anything, like your trade to become more secure.

That's for your large answer. Also, how can i know how old any wallet(or address?) Is?

The point is that you posted an address to receive payment in the past, or you have staked the address on the forum. So that essentially proves that you owned the address whilst you are still being trustworthy and dealing with bitcoins.

Say, if you take a 1 year holiday from the forum and come back, people suspect you to be hacked.

If you can sign a message that is able to reflect that you still own the old address, that's how you prove that you're not a hacked account.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: December 23, 2016, 12:07:12 AM
Even if you invest 1% of your money now, it will be dominant in a few decades.

It totally depends on how much money do you have. 1% of 1000$ is just 10$ and I don't think that would exactly be "dominant" in the few decades because if so, then how about those people that invested 1000$? Then they should be totally financial Gods of the future, not to mention the people that have thousands of bitcoins today.

I think all of us should have at least 1BTC saved for the future. Even if the price of bitcoin doesn't get to millions or ten/hundred thousands dollars, it's okay. You would still have 1BTC to treat yourself something nice in the far far future.
It is the same with gold, if you had a 1oz of gold 100 years ago you could buy you lots of neat stuff with it, now you can still buy nice stuff, the usual comparison is a nice suit, bitcoin is the same, even if the price of bitcoin does not skyrocket, I'm sure we could buy good stuff in the future with it.

Yeah I think bitcoin is like digital gold. They both are disinflationary currencies, but bitcoin is arguably more so because it follows a set schedule unlike gold where you can find 0 gold in one year and find a huge gold deposit the next.

Cash on the other hand is self destructive, and always inflationary.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble your (or your child's) school fund? on: December 23, 2016, 12:00:53 AM
As much as I am addicted to gambling i don't think that i would ever gamble away such important funds, especially if the funds are not there for myself in the first place, but are my childrens'.

However if they are short anyway on their school funds, I would go for it Tongue
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will raise the Altcoin Index? on: December 22, 2016, 11:32:58 PM
It seems as a whole most of the major altcoins have been declining in value recently.   What will reverse this trend?

A decline in bitcoin's price.

Generally it's like oil and gold. If oil goes down in price then it is likely USD has increased in value, and vice versa.

There is only this much amount of money in the cryptocurrency markets actively trading, and when there is a major pump in bitcoin price then it'll mean there will be less funds in altcoin markets to pump their prices.
