Hello, just a little complaint about the client, the Forging indicator that is also a button is not a clear way to make a button to start forging, it looks like just a decorative indicator, not an actual button, it took me 2 days to realize i wasnt actually forging and that was in fact a button. Not exactly saying it is bad, just not very clear to simple guys like me  This is the button i'm talking about:  Hey Jari, thanks for your feedback. We encountered the problem ourselves. If you client restarts, you will still forge this way. But to do this you should transfer nearly all XCR out of your delegate account for security reasons. Yes, it is configured that way, that's why i didnt check for a button, i expected it to automatically forge New design for it is looking very good |

Is there a way (API?) to see who voted for who?  And today i see uptime numbers for some active delegates are not so good as it could be  how starik69 expresses himself...
First of all english is not my native language. Second - i have (some odd?) sense of humor and can not write without sarcasm  Yes, this is correct. These past 2 days I have been closely monitoring my delegate node and have seen it drop down from 100% towards 75%. For now I've switched forging from the virtual servers towards my home computer to try and pinpoint the problem. I'll be working on fixing this all day. I'm also currently running it on a Windows Server Instance, which could be causing some problems. We have found that the closer the hosts to the internet backbone, the less the latency. We started with delegates on hosts in Amsterdam, which resulted in low % for the stasDelegates. Matt moved his to servers near the Google servers in Georgia. He is on the 90s now. The 10s blocks are just not home computer connection friendly. My node is also hosted in Amsterdam, though in a datacenter, not on a home connection, and has not missed a block yet. Amsterdam is a very central place in internet infrastucture. EDIT: a single block was missed, yeah i dont know :s |

Guys, I hope this quiet launch was intentional. Cause if not then 3 non-fictional delegates in 24 h is a disaster. I'm afraid 3 delegates are few, yes I agree. But it will be more once a part of them got upvoted.
To be honest... it doesn't make much of a difference to me if it is the devs running the delegate nodes or a bunch of us Crypti loyals. I want to see the creators/companies of future kick-ass apps & services using the Crypti platform fighting over the delegate positions! It does make a very big difference, it centralizes all the power in the hands of the devs. they make litterally every block on the network at the moment, Some people would disregard this as crazytalk, but i think decentralization is a cornerstone of about of all but a very select few Cryptocoins. Even the most scammy of scamcoins have the network ran by a whole lot of different people, with nobody holding more than 50% of power. Now this dev team does not have any malicous intent to change blocks they forge, but the possibility of it scares me though. This situation will be resolved when the foundation node's are slowly being replaced by community node's. but marketing crypti as a decentralized coin is just not possible at the moment. |

Oh, deleted blockchain, restarted client - now can not sync at all! It is going circles - 3614 - 3707 - 3614 when there are 3876 the last block.  Why it can not sync? is the time on your machine corrent & synched to a timeserver? |

Really awesome update karma By the way, i have a question about the 10k fee for making a delegate, why is it there? at the moment it is just s transfer of 10k XCR to the dev nodes. will this (101*10k = 1 million Crypti) be used for the Delegate-reward program later on? it seems like a fair system for making new delegate's, exept for the case it is now, where all the dev node's paid 0 XCR, and get the 10k from the community registering delegate's. |

% of approval is the amount of vote's that you have. each % corresponds with a million crypti in votes.
In short, 100% is 100 Million XCR votes. 30% is 30 million votes Why then every dev delegate has 31-33%? What is the math here? The summ of all 101 approvals must be <=100%? An XCR balance can be used to vote more than 1 time, but only once per delegate. With each 1 XCR voting transaction, you can vote for 33 different Delegate's |

Yes, by the way, the genesis delegate's have about 33 million XCR in vote's behind them. why is this so high, instead of just voting for the with a small amount, so the community can take over the list of delegate's?
That is in the plan. You will note that there are many "foundation" delegtes. Those will be voted down to reserve status. It was necessary to form at least 101 delegates to get the block chain rolling. We were at it for over 12 hours, three hours just starting and restarting the block chain to get it right. We had to bring the delegates up one at a time, and had the usual problems. Matt had only2.5 hrs sleep before he had to leave for work, Boris is up for like 30 hrs now without sleep. Once we have a group of non-foundation delegates registered, we will down vote the spares so you guys can forge. It may appear that the foundation is hogging the votes, but that is only to get things rolling. It will look different in a week. OK, that seems like a good compromise indeed, slowly decentralizing the delegate's from the devs to the community What does % of approval mean?
