In these tough times, an active developer is key to keep this community and project alive.
How with staking? Can you figure out which chain is good? Or we should stop with staking and any other activities on old MTNC blockchains?
Are you still alone as a developer or there is somebody else who joined the MTNC team?

It could be better when and if, set up correctly and not only to scam people in the end or to have such a possibility all the time to exit scam in any convenient time.
I don't know how these services work only assume from a post above that this is pure BS because you have to send them the money which is the third party trust problem and a red flag for me.
This could work if done correctly. Like cold storage with multi-sig wallets where you sent them and third-party escrow to manage the funds or any other set up which don't involve a thrust to a third party. Period

I don't think this will be possible to keep such an information secret.
I assume this would be against the law too if they kept it secret.
They are obligated to do this if such an event occurs, I think.

Actually, I am out of merits but the first one I get will be awarded to this post because I think that this is a bad thing that such a valuable post has no comments, no merits and is lost on multiple pages of this section.
I found this post only because I follow your writings and if not I don't think I will ever read this. There is almost no chance for a thread from page 4 or 5 to be bumped by somebody else as the author or somebody who is following him.
I ask myself why you never bump your own threads and let them get lost between these tons of garbage here and there?
Is allowed, I assume because I see members which literally post only "bump" word. This is the first forum, I have ever registered and all this is new to me despite, I am already more like a year here.

Thanks your appreciation matters to me and encouraged me to update once again this list. Here are the changes I have made today:

- Add 2FA authentication to your account and any other available security measures, such as the anti-phishing password for email, pin, additional security questions.
- Before logging in, double-check the URL of the site and bookmark it.
- Always check everything three times, especially the current information page (if available), which currently coins or tokens should be avoided, maintenance is carried out or there are any other problems, for example with synchronization, addresses, fees, times, etc.
- During the transaction itself (purchase/sale or deposit), use the triple check rule to check amounts, addresses, etc.
- Never deposit everything in one transaction.
- Send a small amount first and check if everything works (transfer, trade, withdrawal, confirmation).
- Continue depositing smaller amounts (smaller amounts mean less headache if something goes wrong).
- Withdraw each time before the next deposit, if possible.
- Never leave your coins or tokens on the exchange because it is not intended for that.
- Always remember that the exchange is not a wallet and is not secure.
- Never use exchange addresses for payments for bounty or for air-drops.
- Before each use of the exchange check its pages on social networks, in particular on Twitter, Facebook and see new complaints about coins or tokens.
- Be careful about the security of 2FA itself, keep the backup codes for each 2FA secured exchange (use Authy as 2FA due to the possibility of backups).
- TOTP for 2FA (you scan a QR code by Authy or a similar program which is implementing TOTP according to the specification in RFC 6238) it is a much better solution than authentication by means of incoming codes via SMS because it is not difficult to take over a phone number.
- Do not send scans of documents to an unknown stock exchange immediately after registration, usually, it is not necessary to trade only with cryptocurrencies.
- Diversification is very important. Trade on a few exchanges if possible because trading on one is associated with the risk of losing all capital.
- When selecting an exchange, you can use the Blockchain Transparency Institute as a guide. The list includes exchanges with suspicious trading and money laundering activities.
- Register on several exchanges, so you have plenty of options available. Do not wait for the crypto mania to run before attempting your registration. Sometimes you can not have an opportunity at all.

- While contacting customer service, try to wait at least the minimum response time, often inform about the minimum time to reply (do not create many queries).
- Try to get help on the official social media websites of a given exchange (sometimes it works great, sometimes not).
- Use various contact options such as chat, phone, WhatsApp or Skype if available.
- Be polite, do not lose your patience, provide all the documents they ask for (even if you have to send the same document several times).
- Do not give up when they say "no", be persistent (if you are right) and start from the beginning. Sometimes another agent will help you (they are just people and often make mistakes).

I don't want to sound selfish but I just knew that in coming months (some time ago) Cryptopia will be "hacked"  .
After so many hacks on all major crypto exchanges in the world, I just knew it that Cryptopia will be next and to be honest, I suspected this to happen a lot sooner.
We all know that exchanges do all want they want with deposited funds (invest, ICO's, arbitrage, trading, etc.) and many of them lost a lot of funds during the bear market and wrong investing in ICO's. This is so easy for them to cover their losses and get hacked once or twice.
This is just insane because they reopen immediately and nobody is suspicious about this. Even more, people are happy about it.
Of course, if you had your coins there, I understand that you are happy but please take Crytpopia explanations with a little bit of common sense and you will read between the letters a different story.

I think you are right, I thought about it too. When Cryptopia was definitely closed he loosed all the rest off interest to this project.
No incentive no or minimal involvement like @eaupdater said by himself that the bear market is not the best time for any moves, even development.
I keep asking myself where are all these coins? Are all MTNC premined? From where staking and masternode awards are coming? What with coins form not paid airdrops?

The community is so great and open, everybody wants to help and try to discuss the problems and maybe find a solution.
The only person who should be the main voice of MTNC is not here. This is not so hard to post an update once a week or discuss with the community for an hour.
is a shame but I think this is all about the money and MTNC is already dead.

Like I said I have updated my wallet to the newest version 4.1.0.0 and started synchronization.
As always MTNC wallet eat my internet connection and no other apparat connected to the internet at home were able to work properly.
Despite everything I turned wallet on in the night and in the morning I was synced.
From what I see I am on this same chain as @WWzsocki because network wage is small only 100K+ and I got stakes every minute with 100K MTNC staked.
So is anybody able to tell which chain is the right one or only the developer is able to do that?
Why the hell there will be a swap if there are only a few problems which could be easily resolved?

I tried to sync my wallet a few days ago but wasn't able to.
MTNC wallet eats all my bandwidth despite I have super fast internet at home and there was no internet connection on my other computers, TV, etc.
t was for sure MTNC wallet because when I switched him off my internet connection get back to normal. This is the same thing as a few months ago when there was a chain split.
I was out of sync and couldn't resync because of this same problem.
Last time I tried with my old 4.0 wallet and today when I have a little more time I'll update to a new 4.1 wallet and let you know if I was able to sync and share other stats.
This good idea to share info maybe there is really no need for the swap. This will only hurt the coin.

Mercatox is scammy exchange with fake volumes and order book. Don't trade there.

If anybody has traded there successfully for the longer period of time then please share your opinion about Mercatox because as for now I haven't found any person which is happy after using Mercatox multiple times. Finally, there is a problem always sooner or later especially with higher stakes accounts but nobody is safe few bucks scams are normal too.

T stay in the topic I will add that Free coin is a great example of how wild and unregulated crypto market is. A brand new coin with no volume jumps into the first 100 on CMC like that. Now I know why BTC SV is higher as LTC. You can manipulate everythng.

I think everybody should read the latest announcements from Dominium team on Telegram and in their blog which is the Medium channel I assume.

There are changes to the ICO, bounty, airdrop, and rebranding will be started soon. I see there will be a lot of changes in all aspects of this ICO so I advise reading the new announcement carefully if one is an investor, bounty hunter or airdrop participant.

This shows how intelligent some of the bounty abusers are. Of course, I think that this only the fraction of them because the majority is clever and mods have hard times to catch them. I heard about a farm with 2000 accounts. Such an operation needs definitely a little more brain to be able to manage all these accounts.
