61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT] Klondike Coin, Join the Goldrush! Growing fast, jump on now! on: January 13, 2014, 11:43:03 PM
I put 6200 KH/s on it solo for an hour and found 3 blocks (231 KDC). Got lucky and found the last block seconds before closing cgminer.
62  Bitcoin / Press / [2014-01-13] Bitcoin bubble won't last without Beijing's approval on: January 13, 2014, 07:30:28 AM

Quote
Bitcoin is a bubble that foreigners cooked up and, by all appearances, is designed to rob the credulous Chinese masses. When the bubble bursts, the Chinese government won't be able to arrest these foreigners and get the money back. The bubble is not under Chinese government control. Hence, it cannot be tolerated.

There's Chinese propaganda in this one, but I think it's important to read.

I think we're all hoping an overseas exchange will pick it up. Even for one single day... that's all we need Wink.

So essentially the hope is that an off-shore exchange picks out this coin so that someone else can be a bag-holder for a coin that no merchant will accept since they can be sued? Nice.

It's going to be real nice. If an exchange chooses to do so. Smiley

addnode=198.245.63.111
addnode=199.241.191.148

Those were new so I added them. Nice to see a Coinye thread from one of the creators.

Lmao, gosh what a night. This has probably been the most exciting night I've had with crypto, but I only started Dec 13.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinye: why are people mining with impending cease & desist lawsuit? on: January 08, 2014, 06:02:34 AM
It's fake: https://twitter.com/cryptsy

I almost got banned from the coinyecoin IRC room for posting it you assholes.

But I was pretty damn dumb for believing it.

You actually thought somebody will say "fuck him" on a twitter post?
Especially Vern?

I overlooked it and saw what I wanted to see I guess. It was retarded on my part.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WORKING COINYE WALLET! on: January 08, 2014, 05:41:05 AM
It's finally syncing now. I added a new node:

addnode=199.241.191.148

Not many people know about it yet so it likely helped.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinye West - Don't f**k with this coin on: January 08, 2014, 05:36:08 AM
I've closed and reopened mine about 20 times for the last hour and a half. Still haven't been able to sync.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WORKING COINYE WALLET! on: January 08, 2014, 05:32:45 AM
I didn't download the wallet in this thread.

Either way, I've closed and reopened probably about 20 times with a 5-10 minute delay with no success. I'll keep trying.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WORKING COINYE WALLET! on: January 08, 2014, 04:52:21 AM
Mine already had those nodes in it but it's still not syncing.

Maybe the nodes are overloaded?
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: January 07, 2014, 08:28:39 PM
Same here. EAC is held for orders, but the order isn't showing up under the sell/buy columns, so there's no way for me to cancel.

Well it was nice for couple of days, especially EU. Then EU crapped out and now it's US.

I never did like the way US pool is distributing EAC.
For example lets say I should be getting 20 EAC per block; US pool goes something like 11,24,12,23,11,20.
OTOH EU was great. Lets say my expected EAC is 40/block. EU gives me 44,40,38,43.

Yeah I know, its all about my contributing shares. Still... EU>>US.

It's probably due to the ridiculous difficulty miners are set at. One of my workers gets its difficulty set to 2045 and it only has a 3565 KH/s rate. It causes me to loose a lot of shares and results in lower payouts. The difficulty changes from 2045 to 515, then to 1712 and back to 2045 again.... it's just absolutely ridiculous. This doesn't happen to me at other pools.
