61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 04, 2023, 07:13:08 PM
Tottenham definitely need a win right now. Things are getting worse for them by every week. Maybe Brentford's game was really tough but they should have been able to benefit from home stadium advantage against Aston Villa. They couldn't even get a point in that game. Now Manchester United have left them behind in the standings and the current gap is even 5 points.

What do you expect, Tottenham will be played in front of their fans tonight and Aston villa being the club away is going to have a tough outing tonight as Tottenham is in a better position and advantage over Aston villa tonight.

Tottenham's performance this season has been worrisome and alot of matches have been lost to the point that Tottenham is below the top five on the premier league table at the moment, and if nothing is done to revive the position of the club henceforth, it may become tougher for Tottenham to make any big impact this season or beyond.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 06:06:38 PM
I guess the main question that makes you increase your gambling addiction is the rush of winning. Winnings give an incredible sensation and on e a gambler tastes it he either learns to control it or it will destroy him.
That is true but what keeps me surprised is that an addict will play, lost, play again and lost more than winning to the point they noticed it is getting to the point of their life to be frustrated and depressed, but they keep on gambling if they see money to gamble with. They have a sense of profit but what is done for a long time and bringing loss instead ify profit should be avoided.
The thing in addiction is that gets to a stage of uncontrollable betting, that is even though the gambler is losing massively there can't control the urge to make more bets.

There can even go as far as borrowing money to make a bet or even selling off personal belonging just to fund their gambling desire.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin survived the Christmas market pressure on: January 03, 2023, 10:36:26 PM
In my opinion, end of year market pressure is typically to the upside. Bitcoin may be a little different as people cash out to take vacations and buy presents, but typically the end of the year is a bullish event. Bitcoin is holding up great though, especially with all of the calamity with scammers like SBF. It feels like the market isn’t going to go much lower though. I’d feel good about purchasing at these levels.
I also agree with you that, the end of the year should be bullish not a sale-off period even though many bitcoin holders will exchange their bitcoin for some other goods such as food and gifts, vacation bills and the rest of what have you.

But this time bitcoin have sustained a good price benchmark throughout the period and to this point, bitcoin has sustained its stability since the survival of the FTX and Luna market crisis that rocked the entire market recently.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 03, 2023, 10:11:16 PM
Free alcoholic drinks, ease of withdrawal machines and ease of which to fund betting/gambling site wallets are serious contributory factors to addictive gambling.
Do you mind sharing the link to the original story, so that we can follow up on the detail of the case and also have first hand information on the case?

The part I doubted so much in the whole story is the part where the man said he was offered free alcohol  which made him bet excessively, the fact is the man have alot of issues to solve not only gambking addictions that is his problem.
He should be taken for mental assessment to know the state of his mental health, because just free beer should be able to push a nirmal man into emptying his accounts. Because no matter how much alcohol a man hard he will know when he reached the finish line and have exceeded his budget in a physical casinos since most of the bets are placed with cash.

66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 03, 2023, 06:33:09 PM
CONCLUSION : bitcoin can not be banned by the government people anyways find ways.
Not really or totally 100% unbanned by the government if the whole world's governments come together then a banned could be possible or maybe the government shut down the internet.

Because at the moment some countries are already accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender e.g El Salvador and the Central African Republic which made bitcoin a legal tender.

I think the best the government can do is to regulate Bitcoin services such as the exchanges and other payment gatewys that aid Bitcoin scalabilities.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 03, 2023, 05:21:06 PM
Indian government (maybe other also)  say that " to ban cryptocurrency we need global help"
Good luck with that.
India tax crypto. That means crypto is legal in India. But Indian Central Bank is the problem, they hate crypto. If the news is true, it would be the central bank that says something like that, not Indian government. They are failing in their own country about crypto, how will they win in the world.
Not only Indian central bank that hate Bitcoin and other cryotocurrencies, even though the government itself taxed bitcoin and generating revenue from bitcoin transactions within the countries.
I think the problem between bitcoin/decentralized finance with the government is the central bank which is a financial institutions funded by the government to provide financial services in the country's economy but the central banks around the world have failed in their responsibility to provide an enabling financial environment free of inflation and money printing.

So the central bank sees bitcoin as a threat to their existence which is why they sponsor several attacks on Bitcoin and other sister cryptocurrencies.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE RIGHT TIME TO MOVE IN on: January 02, 2023, 10:32:24 PM
@OP you heard it, the right time is always when the price is down, when you can afford to buy. I don't see what is stopping you. If you are waiting for 10k btc according to what some people speculate, you might miss out on a good opportunity which is right in front of you.
Buying along the deep is also a good way to accumulate bitcoin before the next halving, one thing to note is that.

We can calculate the timing for the next bitcoin halving, but we can't say exactly when the bull run will start after the halving, so at that ops should buy the dip and when the bear market persists you can increase your bitcoin by buying more.

So my advise is to buy little amount of bitcoin per a time and make sure not to exust your entire capital at once always retain an amount in case of the price sink further from your buy price.
69  Economy / Gambling / Re: LIVE Christmas Gambling Stream with DiceBot and Free Script! on: January 02, 2023, 09:39:55 PM
OP what do you really  mean? I entered the two links you provided or dropped in OP it is only the first link I will say, I understand small. Because it is a casino site with different games to play with. But the second link with the script, I have nothing to talk about. If really you want us to participate in the live stream Christmas games then you have to explain more mostly on the script aspect.
Ops have posted a couple of links in this thread, and i tried to access the link also but encountered some traffic problems sunce ios stated that their toutube channels have been deleted, I now understand what prevented my access to the video may be it contained some content that violates youtube laws.

On the other hand, casino scripts or bots do not give guarantee winning or outcomes, which is why most old players already kick against it as a waste of time.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: January 02, 2023, 09:28:47 PM
Suppose I am doing business through an online Facebook page and website and want to accept Bitcoin. But now if I look at cryptocurrencies it comes with high volatility, and I have doubts whether accepting Bitcoin will be profitable for my business.

This is now left to you to decide on a choice to make, if you accept bitcoin it will help attract those Willing to pay in bitcoin into your patronage, remember bitcoin is volatile, so therefore there's probability that you make more money on top the paid amount for your service if the bitcoin market is running bull and same you can loose abit if it's on bear direction, but you need to know that it's not like other coins that will loose value entirely to zero when falling, or better still convert them to stable coin whenever you receive your payment to retain it value, that's why i insist that the results you arrived at depends on you and how you handle the situation for making the payment work for you.

I think, it is better for ops to first take his time to build his fundamental knowledge on risk management before diving into accepting Bitcoin, this is so because not having Bitcoin as payment in your business as it will increase your customer base.

But don't intend for long term holding of the Bitcoin you receive as payment so try as much as possible to always convert them into your local currency at regular intervals because just as you said earlier, Bitcoin volatility can greatly affect your sale income in left for a long.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 01, 2023, 09:56:21 PM
Bitcoin price speculation is one of the aspect of the market i try as much as posible to chi away from but the fact still remains that our analysis and prediction is just for speculations discussion it does not have any direct impact on the outcome of bitcoin price or it future prospects.

But then the year 2023 just began and with the kind of baggage that accompanies Bitcoin into the year, it seems bitcoin price will be held down for a while.

Since most of the market is still trying to recover from the FTX bankruptcy attacks on the entire cryptocurrency market.

But the $20,000 price is still very posible but not certain!
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: How we know btc not going to 100$ ?? on: January 01, 2023, 09:47:15 PM

like what the other one said, if bitcoin is going to fall that low , so chances of dropping to zero value is more to happen .
I dont think so, bitcoin can not drop to zero and if that happens which is highly unrealistic and certainly impossible Bitcoin will recover back it value even if it faces any attacks that could cause it price to drop to zero.

Bitcoun have gone above some certain amount and not matter what happens, bitcoin can not drop down to a 4k price again we have to go e beyond and above the price limit forever.

I know bitcoin volatility makes it possible for any reality but then we should know that Bitcoin 4k base level will take a long time to happen and is not likely to happen

Let me join others to congratulate you on your decision to buy more Bitcoin because ideally, you will get my discount in purchasing Bitcoin at the present price higher than any discount you may be offered on most items you will find in the shops this season.

You may try as much as possible to study the market more and know when to pull out with profits that will outweigh your present money value, that way you have real value and profits from your bitcoin purchase as a Christmas gift.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 26, 2022, 06:44:54 AM

That was indeed the most interesting and thrilling final onw could ever watch . Game changed at 80th minute and after that France and Argentina keep on competing goals and at the end penalty shootout helped in final result and winner.
But Mbappe's efforts will be remembered for a long time as he has done everything for thier victory.
At some point in the world cup, toward the ending of the competition when it became clear that the final match will be Argetina VS France most fans become more speculative about individual players and the top-ranked players in both teams became the focus of most people.

As Mpappi vs Loe Messi battle to make history for their football career, Loe messi needed the world cup to finish his football career on a remarkable record breaking note.

While Mpappi wanted to defend the cup for his country and also add more feathers to his awards but at the end Messi hard it which made the final game more intense for both clubs.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin survived the Christmas market pressure on: December 25, 2022, 07:55:56 PM
Why we may think that the price of Bitcoin is stable around 16800 to 17k is because, Bitcoin has already faced market crisis in early and late November with a load of bad news and attacks on the cryptocurrency market.

Take FTX bankruptcy as the major bad wave for the year 2022 and you will understand why is not right to conclude that every December will have the same pattern of movement because every year has its own peculiar problem that faces the market.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 25, 2022, 07:48:00 PM
Argentina's win brought me so much joy. When France almost snatched the cup from Argentina with their equalizing goal in the second half i was wondering if the 23 years old Mbappé will have to win the world cup two times in a roll without any opposition but was delighted when the penalty shoot ended in favour of Argentina and finally Messi won the only cup he hasn't won in his career he can even decide to retire anytime soon.
I was also relieved when i saw the first penalty missout from France players, i dont know why Mppape was so high spurited in defending their champion, but then football wont be fun if France retains the cup this season.

The just concluded world cup, is speculated to be the best world cup in football history and why because of the final match between Argentina and France and how the world cup finals ended.
