I don't know for everyone whether it's worth it or not, in fact i have never stopped my mining rigs since the GPU miners were hit by a disaster.

One of which my rig:
- 6x R9 290
- 8x RX 580 8GB

Btw,
Still profit (after an electricity bill) even though "lower" profit compared with 1 year ago.
Thanks for your feedback!

So, when I got into cryptos from forex and cfd's I had some spare money to waste!
So as a computer hardware and newborn crypto enthusiast I decided to build my own farm!

And now for some Pros and Cons!

Setup: RX480 x3, i3-3220.
Miner: MultiMiner

Pros:
1)Some passive income
2)Just cool thing to have.

Cons:
1) Noise ( it is frustrating you cannot do anything with it, even if you close the door, it is almost vibrating through the air)
2) Dust  ( it sweevels dust around like crazy, imagine cleaning your appartment every 2 days)
3) Hardware falure ( probably the most frustrating part about mining) i had 2 PSU's that just gave up on me, this doubles the waste of your money, first of all you need to buy a new one and waste your time searching for it.

In conclusion, it was a good run but I am no longer mining, 20$ a month with all electrical bills and cons of this system is just not enough for me to continue this journey Grin

What do you think about mining? Is it still alive for enthusiasts with no thousands of dollars in their pockets?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Forex-crypto trading? on: May 16, 2018, 07:32:08 AM
Thats a really good point, sir!
I think it is easier, i jumped into cryptos from forex, so the fact that i will be able to monitor news for quote currency (fiat) is quite appealing!
It actually gives me opportunity to make technical and fundamental analysis on DX (DXM8) Grin
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about Forex-crypto trading? on: May 16, 2018, 07:12:49 AM
Sooooo, I have been trading on ETH/USD, TRON/USD, XMR/USD for the past couple of months.
So far so good, what are your thoughts on crypto/fiat trading?

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is it important to look at the community before investing in their coin? on: May 08, 2018, 09:31:27 AM
The larger the community, the more advertising will be on public channels. It is very important to read the White Paper and understand the purpose and meaning.
It is necessary to analyze the project and identify its advantages and disadvantages. You need to analyze the founders and their past projects.
Pay special attention to advisers and their reputation.

There is convenient and detailed information about coins. Second way - search here on the forum
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My bounty story (5.99eth) on: May 03, 2018, 12:15:42 PM
The chance that the project will collect its hard cap is very small
But it's nice to hear that such stories happen.
Well done, I will also try to participate in promising projects
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: May 03, 2018, 11:59:09 AM
Сountries do not receive income from the crypto currency, and therefore do not legalize it
Сryptocurrency is not dangerous, it's just hard to regulate it.
Taxation is one of the solutions to the legalization of the cryptocurrency
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evolution of currencies on: May 02, 2018, 01:46:25 PM
People need currency. Without currency people would simply exchange things or services without knowing a certain value.
Therefore, the currency, whatever it was, is necessary for people. It is a universal tool that makes our life easier.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can now buy a house in Britain using the cryptocurrency Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 01:05:28 PM
This is really good news for the whole community.
Tell me, is there anywhere else in Europe the possibility of buying real estate or cars for bitcoins?
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legalization bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 12:12:25 PM
Many countries are indeed already legalized Bitcoin
Definitely, this is very good for the cryptocurrency market
But while countries such as the US, Russia, and central Europe do not legalize the cryptocurrency, nothing global will happen.
A separate question whether the cryptocurrency will be taxed or not
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in Crypto wisely and strategically on: April 27, 2018, 07:41:20 AM

79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if two mining company unites on: April 20, 2018, 10:28:59 AM
If they capture more than 50% of the coins, they will control the market
but it is not exactly  Smiley
