Good evening everyone. I'm trying to start a new rig with v6. I have 2 other rigs running with v6 with zero missteps, thank you Lolliedieb. This new miner reads 6 cards ok (2x580 8gbs and 4x470 8gbs) but will not mine more than 3 of the 6 cards even after repeated tries including restarts and a new download. And those 3 cards are running at only ~3 sol until they shut down after 3-4 minutes. A couple of times 3 of the six cards have mined at full speed (~27 sols) but then shut down after less than a minute without any error notice. The other 3 of 6 cards always just read 0 sols. Anyone have an idea? Thank you for responding.
update... I had the same results after trying to run v5,also. Additionally, the benchmark miner will not run at all....
Big, there's a known problem that occurs sometimes with using 4+ cards at the same time under a single lolMiner process which may be causing your issue. Try adjusting your .json from: "DEVICES" : "AUTO" to: "DEVICES" : [0,1] and see if that runs without problems. If so, you can add additional GPU's in there until it becomes unstable. I'm currently running just 3 GPU's per lolMiner process. Thank you for your help, CygnusMinor. Using your technique I now have 3 cards mining nominally (2xSapphire 470 8gb and 1xXFX 580 8gb). But, what gives? I have a 4x470 4gb MSI rig running smoothly and a mix of 4 XFX 580s running alongside of 2 1060s on another rig without struggle? I am getting a "Too long to connect to stratum" delay error before it starts mining now, also? Is there still a link to v4.3 around here somewhere? I might try to see if I can at least get something out of the other three cards or maybe a way to program a second separate miner on the same rig so as to run 2 separate miners at the same time? Anyone? Thanks for the help. I am using Win10. Is there a way for me to change my worker IDs to read individually on the monitor? Can I add a number or nomenclature to the end of the addy to ID each rig separately? Thanks, again |

Update... So I changed to "EXAMPLE_BTG" on my BTCZ config and am now rocking a steady 14% increase on this rig. 4x XFX 580s and 2x MSI 1060s. All stock settings here. The 1060s are matching my 1060s on an OC Nvidia rig. Good job, Lolliedieb and thank you! For the life of me I can't fathom those who complain about your fees??  |

Still tryna figure out why lolMiner won't recognize more than 5 cards. All AMD 4x580s and 2x470s reads 3x580s and 2x470s, only. Anyone? Used to have 4x580s and 2x1060s and would read 4x580s and 1x1060. "DEVICES" in config reads "AUTO"

I added 2x8gb 470s to my 2x8gb 580s miner and it reads all as 470s or all as 580s and only 3 of the 4 gpus sometimes or worse. Is this a lolMiner issue? Windows read them accurately as 2x470s and 2x580s. 470s are Sapphire, the 580s are XFX. Thank you for responding.

Yes, but who pay ? There is no premine and no ICO for BTCz, and it is a very good thing. Not sure there is enough money in the marketting addresses (from miners who donate for this). People have to understand what is BTCz : it is a serious coin, not a shitcoin with just marketting and pump and dump. Be patient... in months, perhaps in years, like the begining of Bitcoin. to increase the number of users this will be a good step. of course it is necessary to allocate from the fund of the team but im think there is a sense in this. especially if to allocate to the big ranks which will confirm that they have tested. the amount is small given the price and im think the team can afford such a marketing move. The proposal to tax 5% passed as I believe. That will generate 365k coins each day. Not much in cash value but if we were giving away coins (say 1k) with each Android Wallet download we would be getting coins out where they aren't going yet. BTC was given away by truckloads in the first year or so. WE have all heard/read the stories of discarded coins. Personally, I am going to start giving thousands each day to students at UP-Dilliman in the Philippines where a Philippine peso is worth $0.02 USD, just to get some out there. They are virtually worthless to me but 30 BTCZ equals one PHP there. Someone will take a BTCZ for something, eh? Are the Android Wallets numbered? They should have a number up to maybe 100 mil. It would be a good way to measure dispersal/adoption rates. |

If your operation system allows using Nvidia and AMD mixed it will work. So you will need Windows or a custom Linux (most standard Linux do not allow AMD and NV drivers at the same time). But I will not guaranty for stability and speed. But - just to point an option - you can run the AMDs in lolMiner with --devices AMD (so only this cards are used) and open a 2nd command line with EWBF on the Nvidia cards. This constellation will give you most likely best performance. [/quote] So, for enquiring minds that want to know, I tried running the 2 6gb 1060s with the 4 8gb 580s on the same LolMiner v5. The miner will only read one of the 1060s and all 4 of the 580s. hashing ~125 for the 5 cards. I have restarted several times to see if there is a change but nothing. 1060 just 1 or 2 hashes slower than the 580s

WooHooo, thank you Lolliedieb for the config correction. The change in bracketing the config was the answer and now I'm hashing away on v5 at a 10% higher rate than with v42 and now I have pretty colors too! Thanks again for your efforts and everyone else who lent a hand. |

hey thanks! I did as you said and no, the profile example on "run miner with restart" was ZERO and the other was BTG. I changed both to BTCZ but no help as yet. "PROFILE=EXAMPLE_BTCZ" what's next? update: the run.bat says config file name and now it reads "PROFILE=EXAMPLE_BTCZ" but my config file only says "EXAMPLE_BTCZ".... delete the "PROFILE"? <<<< that didn't work either. |
