61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In this bearish market, What do you think is the way out?? on: November 01, 2018, 08:26:34 PM
I think that our efforts should focus on another objective, we should try to implement mass adoption, I think that is the only way to revive the market when people get to rely on cryptos, I think it will be at that time that we regain the strength of last year, I don't know if this is possible in the current situation, but the past month the prices have been stable enough, so I'm hopeful
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dying off? on: October 31, 2018, 03:41:32 PM
I doubt that they are dying, because it is a good way to start a startup without having to sell your soul to the institutions, the problem is that now there is not as much investment as before, as things have become a bit normal, it is much harder to earn money for your project, so only  leaving projects that are really good and have a high chance of winning the necessary funds for development.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many projects are dead on: October 31, 2018, 03:34:54 PM
That's right, I don't like to accuse all the ICOs of scamming, but I really believe that many of the ones in the current market were made with the sole intention of raising money, usually are projects that are not well thought out and usually have many delays and mishandling of communication, of course they are not all like that, but most of what I'm seeing this month goes that way.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 31, 2018, 03:19:22 PM
I doubt it a lot since cash is the most convenient way to use your money, there are many stores that do not have the necessary technology to use bitcoin or transfers, what would be done in such cases? remember that there are rural areas that do not even reach the Internet, and these people will be consumers too, most will have to use cash to meet their needs.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 30, 2018, 05:30:55 PM
In all the years I've been in this forum and participating in different bounties, airdrops or events, I always run away from the KYC like the plague, simply because it is supposed that one of the great benefits of cryptos was anonymity, something that spreads with the ground when you ask for legal documents to give you $10 in some token that you'll never remember is in your wallet, for me it's not worth it.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: October 30, 2018, 05:19:39 PM
I handle my losses before investing, you always have to go with the right mentality before doing anything, it is very important that you are aware that there is a high probability of losing money, so to limit that possibility the best thing is to have several investments, in theory that's how hedge funds work, only here you are going to take care of your investment, so you have to do all the research.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and listing on: October 30, 2018, 05:10:03 PM
I don't know how much you've researched, but there are many ways to gain listing in different exchanges, of course, the big exchanges that are moving a lot of money now, need to put a high entry fee to list your coin, or if not any scam coin would be listed in those exchanges trying to deceive people, but there are also other types of exchanges for less recognized currencies like crex24 or numex, those exchanges are quite cheap and you can even be listed for free if you win a vote.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best ICO to invest ? on: October 30, 2018, 02:02:58 AM
It is difficult to know because as you have said ICOs are coming out daily, especially these last few months and apparently is a fairly fast way to make money without much effort, so you have to be guided by people who know more than you, lately I have used ICOdrop to know which ICO to invest in and so far has worked quite well, but as always DYOR!
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best exchange to day trade on? on: October 30, 2018, 02:01:02 AM
Personally, the best exchange to trade is the one that gives you more freedom to move your coins, if all the time to withdraw or deposit is a problem, then that exchange is not highly recommended, it also depends a lot where you live or where are you making business, for example Etoro can be very good, also bitfinex and kraken that is used especially for alts.

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Design is important for ICO projects on: October 27, 2018, 01:55:07 PM
Very important, some people do not seem to realize that the design of a product can affect the amount of investments that they get into the project which is why it is important for project creators to make sure that they are hiring very good product designers to make sure that their projects come out in the best way to the potential investors
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have two tokens ready for the dump on: October 27, 2018, 01:45:15 PM
I actually have several tokens that I have gotten from the bounties that I have been doing ready but I have to wait for the market to get back up to better prices before I can dump them. They are going to do very well in my opinion. Your two coins look like pretty good choices but for now, it looks like we are all going to have to wait to see what happens to the coins
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain games. Whaaat? on: October 26, 2018, 07:03:44 PM
All blockchain games are instances of DApps, or decentralized apps (though not all dapps are games!). As decentralized gaming apps, blockchain games are open source, decentralized and distributed.

Many blockchain games feature NFTs or some in-game ERC-20 currency – sometimes both. All blockchain games include at some point payments with the cryptocurrency that is native to their host blockchain, the most popular being ETH.

Most blockchain games iterate over certain schemes. You might have heard of the most popular ones: apps for collecting and breeding characters, apps that add battles and item crafting to the collectibles scheme, idle games in which you sit back and watch your character progress through levels, and good old-fashioned gambling games. Explore this FAQ to learn more about how blockchain games work. And explore the rest of the website to learn about the games themselves!

Have you ever played blockchain games? What do you think about them?

UPD

For everyone who wants to find blockchain games I've created collection on product hunt https://www.producthunt.com/@house_lama/collections/blockchain-games

Never played them since I am not much of a gamer but I have always thought that they were going to be pretty good and just the fact that blockchain games would mean that people would have to do purchases with cryptos is what got me behind them. Thanks for providing the compiled list of games, I will make sure to check them out.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid of losing money on: October 26, 2018, 06:54:01 PM
This is a good way to approach it, a certain amount of fear is encourage so that you do not end up making decisions that you are going to regret. That being said, you also have to be ready to lose money if you want to make money because as far as cryptos go, they are not an exact science. You are going to lose some and you are going to win some
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody knows why there was this big pump today on: October 24, 2018, 09:15:38 AM
Probably because someone was pumping it. there are lots of reasons why pumps happen and most time it is just whales playing with the prices to benefit them and the average investor just has to sit by and watch. The thing with big pumps like this is that there are always followed by a dump which means that if you buy at such a time then you are going to end up watching the price go down
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: October 24, 2018, 08:54:00 AM
Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ?

How long have you been with crypto?

Have you reach your goals yet?

what do you think about this topic?

Cryptocurrencies are not a way to get rich quick, so many people are coming into the market with this mentality which is why so many of them are losing their money. Cryptos are not going to make you rich overnight, they are not going to help you become a millionaire instantly, but if you are smart and you are patient, then they can make you rich with time
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What thing you much check before investing in an ICO? on: October 23, 2018, 04:31:24 PM
Now I am focusing to invest in ICOs. As a regular bounty hunter, I can realize which ICO is good and which is bad. Because I follow the most trustful ICO rating website Icobench, I have enough time to read project's whitepaper and look after at their community activity. But recently I realized Icobench's rating is not everything! I want to mention some ICOs name that had an impressive positive rating! But they couldn't raise even 1 Million USD! A project like FTEC, Enkidu can be a good example. What is the reason here?

When you invest in ICOs, what thing you take seriously?

The product is the thing that I check the most, I cannot be investing in a coin that does not have a good product backing it, once the product behind  a coin is bad then all of that project is going to go down the drain there is no two ways about it. The team behind the project are just as important as the product in this aspect, which is why I also take them seriously
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Market is coming on October to December on: October 23, 2018, 04:05:05 PM
I don't know if this accurate but I would not mind seeing another bulll market even though I know that it is highly unlikely that this will happen I am hopeful because I am tired of watching  the price  of my coins go down all the time. If there is going to be any bull market this year then now is the time that it is going to start, not later because there is no more time
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether USD, BIG SCAM OR JUST A FUD. on: October 22, 2018, 12:01:07 PM
It is a scam there is no way that you can tell people that you coin is stable, get millions of people to invest in the coin and now we are seeing a dip in the price of the coin. This is why I have never trusted tether or any of the stable coins. This is the cryptocurrency market, volatility is a part of the whole thing, it is the whole reason why we are here
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: October 22, 2018, 11:52:45 AM
i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?

For me the kind of people that are working on the project are the best part for me because if I feel like I can trust the people that are working on the project then I have no problem with investing in the coin. Which is why I personally do not invest in coins that do not have a face behind them because that simply makes it easy for them to take off with the money
