61  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: August 17, 2018, 02:00:04 PM
We are all part of a society, I don't see a problem paying tax if it helps build roads, infrastructure, and helps the less fortunate so they wont be stuck in poverty.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: August 17, 2018, 01:53:16 PM
There is a lot of competition but every business sector is like this.  For every successful business there are 9 more that will end up failing.
63  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't obvious scammers banned? on: August 16, 2018, 06:35:59 PM
I don't think self moderated threads should be allowed.  It encourages censorship and strong bias by the thread created.  I've seen this suggested a lot recently and hopefully Theymos can take a look at it.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop !! is it worth it ! on: August 16, 2018, 06:15:16 PM
its not really worth it, the majority of them are scams to get your email and other personal information.  You are more likely to be hacked than receive anything valuable.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptassist will develop its own fully licensed spot exchange on: August 10, 2018, 04:13:38 PM
Im not sure this exchange will be successful, there are hundreds of exchanges so the competition is really high and most are struggling to attract users and turn a profit.
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poll: Which religion is the best religion? on: August 10, 2018, 04:10:32 PM
Don't forget to vote!

It looks like there are more than twice as many atheists here than any religious segment...

Way to go heathens!

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, Crypto investors tend to be athiests and anacharists. How come Scientology wasn't on the poll though?
67  Other / Meta / Re: Account got banned (NeedIfFindIt) on: August 09, 2018, 06:18:10 PM
It looks like you were copy & pasting posts and spamming bounty threads.  Honestly, it's not likely you will get unbanned with those type of offences.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum's Price on: August 09, 2018, 06:12:29 PM
Ethereum should be back over 1k again once bitcoin hits the 15k mark if my predictions are correct.  Right now is a great time to buy in cheap.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: August 03, 2018, 04:31:23 PM
I would be very worrisome about investing in a token project that didn't at least have a MVP (minimum viable product). Don't invest in vaporware!
70  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit or hitbtc on: August 01, 2018, 07:18:33 PM
I've heard many bad things about Yobit, do not use their website.  They have been known to block large withdrawls and do other shady activities.  I wouldn't trust an exchange that has a Dice game on their front page.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade..?? on: August 01, 2018, 01:44:31 PM
I quit trying to do day trades and moved over to long term holding.  Short term trading is just a gambling game in the crypto world.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost etherwallet private key? on: August 01, 2018, 01:40:05 PM

73  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bill Gates, Sam Harris and the Superstition of State Education on: August 01, 2018, 01:27:34 PM
I don't trust Bill Gates or his foundation, his agenda is population control and to sterilize humans in AFrica.
74  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who will be the NBA champion this season? on: July 30, 2018, 05:10:54 PM
The nba lacks parity, The golden state warriors are still the heavy favorites.  These superteams are really killing the NBA.
75  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you Manage your Budget? on: July 29, 2018, 12:58:50 PM
A lot of families have always have the challenge of managing their budgets especially on pay day. Most families exhaust their monthly earnings just midway into their pay day, while they struggle for the remaining half of the month.

My question to you is this: How do you manage your budget in order to save for the rainy days?

I think it's not about saving, but about stopping spending money on unnecessary things, which in a short time will fly into the trash, in general this is a big topic and it's easiest to start studying it with a minimalist theme.

It's quite easy to save money if you didn't buy all the ridiculous consumer items that most people buy.  Most stuff people buy is not needed and overpriced.  People pay 200 dollars for a pair of shoes because it has a jordan logo on it, the world we live in......
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think spanking is wrong? on: July 29, 2018, 12:44:11 PM
I prefer to do non physical punishment.  My parents were the old school type that thought physically punishing your child was ok.  We are moving away from this mindset because it can be traumatic  at a young age.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do these Jumps in value come from in altcoins on: July 29, 2018, 01:54:48 AM
Most of these coins are just pumped up by manipulation.  These are just quick pump and dump schemes to get fools to FOMO and buy in.
78  Other / Off-topic / Re: The 7 deadly sins... which one are you? on: July 29, 2018, 01:47:59 AM
I guess lazy, but I don't consider that a bad thing, it's better to be lazy and smart instead of working hard and stupid.
79  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the difference between rich or poor? on: July 29, 2018, 01:38:19 AM
It's very difficult to move from lower class to upper class.  There are a few people that do this but survivorship bias makes it seem more possible than it really is.
80  Other / Off-topic / Re: What causes suicidal thoughts? on: July 29, 2018, 01:33:28 AM
I think its because of chemical imbalances in our brain due to all the toxic pollutants in our environment.
