For long term hold, I'd recommend people look into polymath. Raised $20 million in pre-sale. platform for launching security token projects. https://polymath.network/

Bitcoin is not a utility token ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Security tokens may be hot in the future, but right now they are the least loved tokens in the field. But isn't bitcoin a security since it is used to transfer value? I think utility tokens that claim to be securities are the ones that aren't loved at all and the ones the SEC is pursuing. I see a big opportunity in the finance sector for securities and blockchain.

It's great. IMO it leaves a lot of room for innovation in this sector. Who knows maybe someone will come along and create a better bitcointalk. Who knows. The possibilities are endless.

So from what I know:
-Utility tokens: digital coins used to transfer value or gain access to decentralized networks. (ex. ethereum, bitcoin, ripple)
-Security tokens: digital coins that represent shares in traditional financial assets
IMO security tokens will be the new revolution in crypto. I guess you can think of security tokens as a stock market. I'm only bringing this up because I saw a project called Polymath where they're building a platform for companies to launch their own legal security tokens.
What are your thoughts? Do you believe in securities?

Very cool stuff going on. Any plans on revealing a prototype?? Would love that. Also, very excited for the sale!!

I was skeptical mainly because of the barrier of entry. Nowadays you have more access to info which is nice. I don't regret it, but wish I didn't put it aside for so many years lol

I would recommend looking into the bee token. Saw on their telegram that a bee token will be around 14 cents. Their pre-sale is in january. https://www.thebeetoken.com/

I have never heard yet about this project. Some minutes before read some information about it. It must some kind of a platform for ICO investors where they will chose the project and buy tokens. Interesting idea.
Been reading up a lot on this one. very fascinating project where companies can launch their own securities and accredited investors can invest. This is essentially becoming a newer, better stock market.

Very cool experiment you have going on. You should also look into Polymath. Platform for launching security token projects with marketplace of investors. Securities will be huge this upcoming year. https://polymath.network/wp-https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2pD5w-G5-sJVGc5YjdmZ0hsYVE/view

It seems to be a thread to try to hype that coin, omg, it is a nice way to do so. But it hasn't raised a lot of interest and people showed that they are not going to accept that, i read a lot of about cobinhood in this forum, and a lot of people are posting threads about it, but i dont understand what is their real purpose, maybe you can just try to explain it to me a little bit more. but it would be good to expand the ecommerce, it would be big if we can combine all the stuff, with the blockchain, it would be amazing.
I found out about cybermiles last week and after reading their whitepaper, there's so much more about them than what is conveyed. Read the whitepaper and you'll get the whole picture and see why it's so promising: https://cm.5miles.com/file/project/Project%20white%20paper_en-US.pdfor you can watch this video they made along with just youtube-ing videos made about them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjyenWvfXFE&t=15s

Isn't there an ico already aiming to do this? Can someone link me?

There are many successor to Ethereum, but the question is would any of them get to replace the position that ethereum holds? I'm too following cybermiles but with so much hype, advertising and KYC, I don't think it'll be a large success.
I see a lot of potential in cybermiles just on the basis that they are also diversifying their efforts into other countries. They also get kickstarted with 12 million users through their partnership with 5miles

I'm gonna check them out, seems like a real solid offering doing some unique stuff
I see a lot of progress in this one. Anyone join their telegram group? They're very active and I've gotten the most info on there. I'm in the group and they're really proactive about troubleshooting and answering questions. Also, they have different telegram groups for different languages. Very nice to see a token focus on global reach as well.

Why do you guys ask for ID in the pre-registration? I'm a big fan of your project, but I'm just wondering
|
|
|
I haven't heard anyone that knows what they're talking about call it gambling. It's moreso those that watched fox news and think they know what they're talking about lol

It's definitely a very smart move on any ico's behalf imo. A token doing a really good job in the chinese market would be cybermiles. They're doing those roadshows and conferences and their ico is growing like crazy.
