Etheruem competing with bitcoin?
I don't really see this happening, I didn't see etheruem replacing bitcoin in the near future because etheruem and bitcoin offer different services,uses different platforms and moreover have different aims and objectives
Maybe in the future it can compete with bitcoin. But currently I can see etheruem as an alternative to bitcoin, not replacing it.

From my own point of view I think now is the best time to invset.
Because most coins are very cheap and affordable because of the decline and some people will panic about the price and so therefore dump their tokens.
If you invest now, any time it rises, you will be making extra profit.
I usually buy my tokens when the market is down hold for a while and sell them later
And I have no regret about this.

I totally disagree with you that altcoins is better than bitcoin, you can say people prefer altcoins to bitcoin not that altcoins is better than bitcoin
People prefer altcoins to bitcoin because it is easy to invest in or acquire but bitcoin is somehow expensive.
from my own point of view I love bitcoin, but I prefer altcoins especially ethereum because its not that expensive.
