61  Economy / Securities / Re: NEO and BEE talk (unmoderated) on: April 07, 2014, 01:11:09 PM
Is there any official+"legal" basis for Havelock to re-list the asset unilaterally? ("legal" because, well...bitcoin...)

Freezing the trading was a good decision, re-listing unilaterlaly with the .Q added is just scammy.

there is nothing official, apart from the announcements made here and on twitter a few days ago.

Havelock changing the listing name, because they "care" for customers without any formal announcement at least on their site, like they did with the trade-stop, is more than scammy.

screams of manipulation.

Are you blind or stupid?

Formal announcements directly from Havelock's site (https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=NEOBEEQ):

April 4, 2014

On March 28, 2014 Havelock Investments halted trading of the NEOBEE Fund; Havelock Investments has yet to receive any formal information in regards to the questionable trading activity on the LMB share platform website. We have not received any formal information on the current situation at LMB Holdings. Due to those factors we have decided that the unit holders on the NEOBEE Fund should no longer be suspended from trading their units. The Fund will now be designated as NEOBEEQ to reflect the uncertainty of the future of LMB Holdings – NEO BEE Ltd. Financial information on the status of the company has not been released. The units of this Fund will continue to trade even if the company will file for bankruptcy. We will continue to update you if any information is provided to us.
Trading will resume today at 5:00 PM EST

March 28, 2014

Havelock Investments has been formally informed by the Pass-Through Fund Manager of NEOBEE that the compliance officer of Neo and Bee Ltd has stated that due to an increase of abnormal activity on the LMB share platform, there may be a high possibility of questionable trading activity. While Neo and Bee Ltd investigate the issue further they have strongly recommended that we halt trading and transfers.
Havelock Investments has halted the NEOBEE fund and is awaiting further instructions from the issuer.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

So bitcoin.newsfeed, how are things?

Guys. Be careful though. If this wall goes your all fucked.

+1

Classic pump and dump with one big player controlling the entire market

This isn't going to end well, you're all getting played. Don't be a bagholder

Oh look, a total newbie who's never replied to a NeoBee thread before, who is using the terminology 'bagholder'. Now there's only one other person on these forums who uses that term...
64  Economy / Securities / Re: MPEx owner in danger of being extradited to US to face charges on: April 06, 2014, 09:15:52 PM
I personally suspect MP owns quite a few shares in most of the listings on Havelock, just so that he can dump them if they threaten to actually succeed as businesses.

Go to reddit.com

An AMA means 'ask me anything' and is usually an attempt at getting someone famous/in the public eye to respond to questions.

Small correction. 37,000 was the import tax on the car (50%).

Put another 74,000 for the purchase price from the UK and you've got the true cost.

And do you have any EVIDENCE that this was purchased from company funds? i.e. embezzlement.

No? Then what does it matter whether he bought a 100k Bentley or a 5k Ford focus? If it's his money, he can do wtf he likes with it.
67  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 04, 2014, 01:24:34 PM
I really don't understand what people think they will gain by deliberately trashing other companies. It is one thing to point out problems but the degree of vindictiveness and glee which is being displayed in some of the postings at other people misfortune is really distasteful and doesn't help sort out the issues. "Childish" is the best description I can use for some of the postings.

The postings in some of these threads doesn't help Bitcoin either as it will scare off potential investors and gives the opponents lots of ammunition with which to go to the regulators and try to ban commercial Bitcoin transactions.  This sort of behaviour will prevent wider adoption and a future rise in the value of Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin world is big enough for people to have different opinions, just live and let live, it isn't big enough for public religious jihads being launched at different members of the community.

You don't burn down the entire tower block because you don't like your neighbour.

+1 So much vindictiveness, spite and gleeful hand-rubbing going on, which will only serve to distance anyone else with an idea from starting up in bitcoinland.

Yes it appears Danny went about things in the wrong order (cart before the horse), but to claim he's stolen everything, he's left the country in secret, he bought a new bentley, this was all just a long con, is just one unsupported assertion after another.

The one thing we should be shouting out in bitcoinland is "Show me the fucking evidence!" - for everything. New startups, old exchanges, BTC reserves, discussions between TAT & Danny, claims about unpaid staff.

"Show me the fucking evidence!" - Anything less is simply hearsay and FUD.
68  Economy / Securities / Re: NEO and BEE talk (unmoderated) on: April 04, 2014, 09:12:23 AM
Let's not forget TaT stands for 'Thick as Thieves'.

Much like trusting 'Magic the Gathering: Online eXchange' with money...

The bitcoin community needs to grow up. I'm particularly unimpressed with Danny's tweet just before seeing the Cypriot parliament. Something to the effect of 'this whole place is filled with thieves'. Just what you'd want from a CEO...
69  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 04, 2014, 09:07:50 AM
You seem to have some real insights here. Can you give us your evidence that the bentley was bought from IVPO funds?

No? Oh that's right, you're just making shit up and thinking that's as good as real evidence.
70  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 03, 2014, 10:19:31 PM
I don't like this at all... We could face a reality worst then what we've been told. How bed could it be?

Why should we trust what Ukyo has to say?
71  Economy / Securities / Re: NEO and BEE talk (unmoderated) on: April 03, 2014, 05:36:06 PM
TAT, are you still involved in other Havelock activity, or was it just NeoBee?
72  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 02, 2014, 03:50:28 PM
This thread seems to be sinking to the same low brow sniping that took place in the other thread. I'm also starting to see some familiar people - sporket, lambchop and now TF.

Can we do something to ensure these characters aren't welcome here?
73  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: April 02, 2014, 08:02:22 AM
Disgusting that Danny's girlfriends family are being brought into this !!!!! Adding the bar address that has nothing to do with Danny is pure evil, angry investors needing to sit there anger should not be directed to some innocent woman who knows nothing of any of this !

This is Dannys issue and Danny's issue only, his girlfriend or her family knew nothing of any if this

The bar you printed has nothing do with Danny that thread should be deleted involving innocent businesses and people is just nasty

There is something really quite evil and perverse about you people.
74  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: April 02, 2014, 08:00:56 AM

Those people people who say that Neo should be left alone as it's new, in the same way as a real world start-up are mis-guided.

The reason that the Bitcoin world does need to be on top of securities all the time it that a large percentage of them have proven to end up being either fraud, scams or very poorly executed.

When was the last time you saw a fund-raise from a company on Nasdaq where the staff were not properly identified, the professional advisors undisclosed or where the founder ran away with the money. This is true for a huge amount of Bitcoin securities. Concerns are legitimate.

But are your concerns specifically true for NEOBEE? Because that's what we're talking about here.
75  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 02, 2014, 12:52:44 AM
They're still trading because they haven't done anything in the real world yet so as to be subject to a wave of criticism and negativity, combined with stock pump & dumps.

Neo stopped trading because of suspicious trades. They're working to resolve the issue.
76  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: April 01, 2014, 10:45:21 PM
To make things clear.

I am a family member of his fiancé's

I am worried for her.

Please leave her and her name out of this.

This is all I ask.

I do not care about anything else just her and her wellbeing.

Yeah, don't believe you. An extended family connection of Danny's would stand to profit or at least see someone they love profit greatly from this business. Therefore asking the forum to harass Danny stinks of bullshit.
77  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 01, 2014, 10:40:24 PM
Thanks for the summary Herp. Factual and without any conjecture.

Here's a bit of conjecture for you, for what it's worth:

NEOBEE is experiencing the natural kickback one would expect when trying to revolutionise an entrenched banking sector on a financially distraught island. Danny is back in the UK visiting the family and having some downtime before getting straight back to work.

Anyone who runs around screaming 'the sky is falling' and 'we all deserve answers' is either a very immature investor, a very immature person, or both.

One thing that does concern me though is quite how much power certain actors in the bitcoin world have over the finances of the rest of us - Karpeles with GOX, MP with Havelock.

My take on MP - he's got a load of BTC from the early days and hates seeing Havelock succeed. So he's bought in to every decent stock on there to the tune of hundreds or thousands of BTC, and will use his leverage to crash anything that looks like it's going to succeed. I don't know his motivations, but I can bet you that's part of his strategy.

And why isn't anyone crowing about CFIG? They've not posted anything for months, but they're still sitting there with 17,000 BTC and nobody's running around screaming that they 'deserve answers'.
78  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: April 01, 2014, 10:32:03 PM
Can I ask that people leave others out of this.

This is about Danny.

Leave others alone, his family, fiancé, and her family.

It is very stressful as an extended family member reading this and seeing that it could affect others.

I am worried for my family and that is what I care about.

Please just harass Danny about this issue as he made this mess, no one else.

'He made this mess'. What mess? This company isn't even 3 months old yet here come the chicken littles proclaiming the sky is falling.

Only in bitcoin land is this even remotely acceptable.

Go put your money in a pharmaceutical startup, or an energy startup, or a food startup and just see how much contact you get from them in the first 3 months. Jack shit! Expecially not if you're a small potatoes 'but I've got 100 shares, I deserve to be answered' type of investor.

Only in bitcoin land do tiny investors think they deserve immediate answers and daily cuddles. Stop trying to choke this business before it's even off the ground.
79  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 01, 2014, 06:39:58 PM
I'm still seeing NotLambChop in this thread.

Can the person who promised us a cleaner thread here start doing something about this?
80  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: April 01, 2014, 03:00:31 PM

Exactly. The death threats are despicable, but it is nonsense to suggest nothing is wrong and that it is all price manipulation. There are many dubious characters in the Bitcoin world, so I'm sure attempts at price manipulation happen all the time, but the fact remains that this is extremely bad news.

Nonsense. Go and invest exactly the same amount in a non-BTC startup. What, a few thousand shares out of a couple of million issued? Less than 2% of the company?

Then go bleating about how the CEO isn't responding to your every beck and call - you'll get absolutely no reply.

Why should BTC-world be different from the real world? Real companies don't cuddle newborn baby investors with upset tummies every single day, nor should NEOBEE.

You gave NEOBEE what, a few thousand dollars at most. And now you're expecting Danny to be your personal messenger boy?

Such nonsense.
