62  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-15] Brand New:iTunes Codes have arrived on Gyft. on: January 16, 2015, 11:48:35 AM
I want to buy a UK itunes gift card so I can purchase some regionally restricted tunes. Anyone know how I can go about doing that? I am after a couple of singles that are only available on albums in the US but as singles in the UK. Pay $20+ bucks for 1 track? FUCK THAT. Maybe back in the vinyl days but for one MP3. I don't think so.

What are your settings?

start volts:
1: .62
2: .62
3: .62
4: .62
Max Volts .661
max power:
1: 150
2: 175
3: 150
4: 175
Mining rates: 1229.41GH/s and 1237.13GH/s

fans are both set at 20%, I had them a bit lower but temps got a little higher in my mining area recently.

I've seen a few people utilizing different voltages now... I'll have to give it a try. Thanks!

Temps okay at fan speed 20?

some SP20 pr0n for you:

>snip image<

got an EVGA 1600w PSU sitting at home waiting to plug in - I think I'll need another PSU of not massive wattage to get all 4 going Smiley

It has 14 PCIe plugs, right? So, you need just another PSU with at least two plugs, but i would just get EVGA 1300; this way you can downclock to ~700W/1250-1270Gh.
However, if you want to downclock, the trick would be how to downclock them with just one or two PSU.
You would have to do it one by one, bring to stable hash, then switch off and do another.

what is to the left of them-it looks interesting.

I have an EVGA 1300w plugged into 1 and a half SP20s. that pulls about 1100w. The 1600w is plugged into the 2 remaining PCI-E sockets on the 2nd one, the 4 on the 3rd and again 2 on the 4th. That pulls about 1400w from the wall. There are only 9 PCI-E sockets on the 1600w PSU

I think I'll swap out the 1300w and get another 1600w, then I can power all 4 across 2 PSUs leaving about 2-300w spare

The unit on the left is a tumble dryer !!

What speeds are you seeing?  I'm running two SP20s off of a single EVGA 1300G2 and getting 2.4TH/s between them without issue

What are your settings?

When I made similar suggestions last night on twitter, some folks immediately objected that this was not truly “Bitcoin” news because it wasn’t clear that IBM would immediately use the Bitcoin block chain.  Shocking.  This may be the biggest endorsement of Bitcoin’s underlying protocol yet — from not one, but two major global technology companies.  Not to mention, Adept may use the Bitcoin block chain itself.

This is what I want to know. Are they going to be using the actual bitcoin blockchain or creating their own. It's nice to see people are seeing the potential in the technology but surely we want them to use the actual bitcoin one?

Isn't the whole point of a blockchain to be an independently distributed public ledger. If some comapny creates and maintains their own blockchain is it no longer independent?

In attention to all Minersource customers:

Matt Carson from Minersource has managed to convince our customer support department that we owe them 250 X3 miners. Our customer support did not check if they are paid and partially shipped this order (137 miners were dispatched). These miners were NOT paid and upon confrontation with Matt Carson all communication went blank.

It has been 2 months since the event and we now assume that Minersource has no intetion of paying the X3 miners that we have delivered. As it stands at the moment we are beginning legal procedures against Minersource in USA.

All customers who have ordered from Minersource and had not yet received their order should begin legal procedures against them as they will not receive anything else from Minersource.

What about the units I ordered directly from you over 14 months ago?!?!
