It has 14 PCIe plugs, right? So, you need just another PSU with at least two plugs, but i would just get EVGA 1300; this way you can downclock to ~700W/1250-1270Gh.
However, if you want to downclock, the trick would be how to downclock them with just one or two PSU.
You would have to do it one by one, bring to stable hash, then switch off and do another.

what is to the left of them-it looks interesting.

You can already run 2 at full speed off the DPS2000, have clocked that PSU up to almost 2500w without issues.

I believe you! I've seen 2800w out of it!
But it is not normal, i mean i put today 2 sp20 setted at 240w all 6pins. In 3hours because of high load and not good ventilation it cut off thermally! Grin

Hey what's the best underclocking W/GH that was achieved? What start voltage?

I dont know the best, but I am running @ less than 650watts

getting Mining Rate: 1221.69Ghs
Code:
Start Voltage
    0.63 / 0.63 / 0.63 / 0.63
Max Voltage
    0.661
Max Watts
    165 / 165 / 165 / 165

edit: btw, the start voltage is not that important.. it is the max settings that count

After setting 2: Try restarting the miner from the pools menu by just hitting the submit button without changing anything.

Also I think if you get the extranonce working it changes the version of cgminer that is running to 4.8.0 which you can check from the main page.

I've tried restarts (and reboots), with and without changes - but just again now to be certain.  No change.  I am cgminer 4.7.0 across the board.
..and now, after some pool mods and subsequent restarts, I have 3 miners at 4.8.0, flag 2 - but still no ex sub.

Make sure you're pool is formated this way: stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub
I tested exactly like that, it doesnt work.

Hrm.  That's frustrating, to be sure.  I've got it working on the latest firmware with both the included cgminer as well as the updated binary.  I wonder if it's the difference in network topology, although I would find it far-fetched myself.

I'll ponder it.

In the mean time, what variables are you passing in the password?  I pass price and difficulty.  I also tack on %h to the end of my payment address to help identify the units.

It's working ... it's working!!  Had a few minutes today to test.  I was always assigning price in the password field, but I wasn't using #xnsub at the end of the URL.  When I added #xnsub and, for good measure, the difficulty to the password field  - it started working. (this with the price set artificially low to test live)  I've since removed the difficulty, and all is well—on the 4.8.0 miners.  On the 4.7.0's, #xnsub kills 'em (dead).  Now working to get my 4.7's to 4.8's...  Thank you!

https://www.westhash.com/index.jsp?p=software#asic

The README in the file includes instructions--don't skip the cp commands that effectively make a backup of the original cgminer.

Or try a 'Reboot' from the miner home page, latest firmware of course.  It just worked for me on all of my miners.  (Yeah, I know I said previously that I tried restarts and reboots to no avail. Maybe my previous reboot attempts were x.51 firmware or something, I think that's when ex sub flag option first showed up..?)

Thanks for the heads up! I'll go out shopping tomorrow for one of those dongles listed, and hopefully I'll be able to get it working. The ethernet cable is really taking up a ton of space as it effectively cordons out a part of the room.

http://support.netgear.com/product/wnce2001

I use these for a few miners...they are cheap and reliable.

SOOOOOPERB. Spondoolies are going wireless  Grin

this pleases me immensely.

John, did you get these running wirelessly?  Care to give us any insight?

Cheers.

That setting crashed the 2 i own they can not run at that low 0.58 voltage i have put the fan at 30 since its pretty nice cold here.
the lowest i can get them started is at 0.6

I cannot get API working

when I do

Quote
SSH to your miner
vi /etc/cgminer.conf
editing {"api-listen":true,"api-allow":"W:192 etc","pools":

the cgminer.conf seems to be overwritten with default 127.0.0.1 after restart...

any Idea?

some SP20 pr0n for you:

I have an EVGA 1300w plugged into 1 and a half SP20s. that pulls about 1100w. The 1600w is plugged into the 2 remaining PCI-E sockets on the 2nd one, the 4 on the 3rd and again 2 on the 4th. That pulls about 1400w from the wall. There are only 9 PCI-E sockets on the 1600w PSU

I think I'll swap out the 1300w and get another 1600w, then I can power all 4 across 2 PSUs leaving about 2-300w spare

The unit on the left is a tumble dryer !!
