Repost of a excellent review of cointracking.info by Criptonauta

Hello Guns! I am Criptonauta  Wink

Today I come to share some more about my way of trading.

Here in the forum or at our Telegram group many Guns  are extremely worried about Gunbot setup - that forget many other fundamental aspects, forget the whole.

Like any other thing in life, if you want to do something well, you'll have  to put effort on what you're doing, gotta invest time to know and begin to understand.

In my case, I like to tweak and measure things, check results and obtain better results.
In Gunbot, it's not different. For this, I use different accounts, settings and do a LOT of research. Numbers here are very important.

For tracking current profit and general status of my account, I used Frilled Shark's spreadsheet. Regarding my Gain per trade, I used my modded version of Marati's Gain % per sell calc, available here. Just grab your copy and leave this one so others can also download it.

Well, if you noticed, I said I used them. Not anymore. There are some clear reasons for that:

  • Frilled's sheet is Polo only, and I'm in the three exchanges;
  • Gain per sell calculator uses manual input...

And, as my profit increase and my service with clients grows, I needed to look better my accounts and other data.

So I remembered of Cointracking.info, got back to it, and it's being so great that I'm doing a review and recommending it to you!

Disclaimer: Criptonauta invested a reasonable time making this review. If you join, please consider using his ref link located in my sig. It will help him to dedicate more time bringing more information and possibly optimizing everyone's profit Smiley

Cointracking is a financial tool oriented to cryptocurrency markets. It possesses a suite of features that allows to monitor the markets and accounts from different exchanges. Essentially. it provides a full Report for all your Bitcoin and Altcoin trades.

Cointracking offers a free plan, which, unfortunately for Gunbot users, tracks only 200 trades, a number Gunbot can reach in a single day.

Here are the plans:

When paying with Bitcoin, you will get a 5% discount. But things can be better!

By using my referral link, you get 10% off any chosen plan! This means: 15% off the total price or:

Great, uh!?

It's easy to start using Cointracking:

1. Create an account
2. Import your trades with our import tool from exchanges to CoinTracking
3. Enjoy numerous analyzes and current data to all your coins, trades and exchanges.

For Poloniex and Kraken, you can choose for automatic updates using API:

*

For Bittrex, the manual import works fine:

And follow the instructions. Easy.

Then click 'Start Import'

Btw, some pics are white others are black. And this is due to being able to choose light, dark or dimmed modes for the website.

And it's done.

If you have not accounted trades, like it'll be the case, a message will appear:

In Dashboard, or Main Screen, you have a general panorama of your portfolio.

It gives your several numbers, like total value of all coins, Total number of trades, your first and the last trades, current Bitcoin and much more, both as numbers and graphically.

The small menu display all the links in the Reporting section

In Trade Statistics, we have an advanced form of Frilled's spreasheet.

Current Balances shows one's portfolio coins variation, much in a Poloniex style, but with no lags ^^

One of the nicest features I found is Trading Fees, where you can see all the fees paid, in Fiat or BTC, for all the trades until the moment. It also can be shown by Exchange or collectively.

Trade Analysis fully replaces Poloniex Analyzer and offer this function for users of other exchanges, since both Bittrex and Polo lacks of an analyzer.

UPDATE: I ported some other information from Telegram group, brought by Crypto Wally. Thanks a lot, mate!

This feature is complemented by Balance Details of each currency:

*

*

In Enter Coins, you can manually edit your trade history in case something is missing - like some bitcoin you transfered from your wallet.

Coin Trends shows the trends of all 4359 currencies available in the market. Or it can be selected to display only those you own.

Coin Charts - one of the sections where hours can be spent, analyzing and comparing past prices for practically everything (cryptos, fiats, commodities). You can chart all your coins in this way:

Users Statics compares data of all Cointracking users, giving interesting insights:

There is more to explore, but I'll let you guys to do this Smiley

Conclusion:

Cointracking currently is the best tool I've found to manage and monitor my cryptocurrency portfolio.

It offers much data one can get. I could spend hours and hours gathering data related to many cryptocurrencies. The prices of the plans offered by Cointracking.info are attractive, especially with the discounts. For an small amount, you will have at your disposal a set of tools that we use, and that includes tools for miners and fees calculation, something difficult to do without making an app to retrieve them. It's laso great to be used both with computer as with mobiles, no matter the screen size.

For Gunbot users, I do recommend the UNLIMITED plan, since it's not limited to a certain number of trades.

In any moment I wanted to disregard the incredible work of Frilled Shark and it's Poloniex Spreadsheet. It does what it promises and it a GREAT starter tool to use with Gunbot. If you will remain only at Poloniex, then Frilled Shark's sheet is still a very viable tool and can be bought HERE in case you don't have it.

If you liked this review and decided to buy a Cointracking.info plan, please do it through my referral link. —> See my sig for Criptonauta's ref link

Thanks and excellent trades!!  Smiley

Hello. I have a couple questions to throw to the brain trust:

I am wondering if anyone out there is still mining SIA along with Ethereum?  Does it makes sense as a second coin?

Also, I am running 2 RX 480's and I have a sapphire r9 270x.  Any drawbacks to running an older, slower card with two new cards?

I am seeing the following hashrates      27.2  27.2   11.1

Thank you
You will make more using the 270x to mine something like ZCL or ZEC, Use the -di in your commandline .bat. Set the 480's to mine ETH and DCR. Set the 270x to mine ZCL. You will have two instances of Claymore open.

Does the SAPPHIRE Pulse RX 580 8GB have Samsung memory?

Would love to know that too, otherwise I am about to pick up some gigabyte xtr aorus - they have samsung on it.
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125961 I bought 5 of these @$229 and they are pretty good.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: May 01, 2017, 06:17:25 PM
Do the 5 series card's drivers have the Bios check on them? And if so, do they freak out if all you do is a simple strap mod on the bios? Trying to buy some more cards, and 570's seem like the best bet at this point, but trying to go around the bios check is going to be a pain.
I have had no problem with bios checks. I've vbios modded over 20 cards and run the latest drivers without issue. I do however disagree with your 570 assumption, but in the post just above I asked for tested numbers. 480 power efficiency and slightly higher hash more than paid for the extra cost versus the cheaper 470's.

Currently I have 470's and 480's running, all 4gb versions of the cards, and MOST of my 470's are more efficient in a hash/watt ratio than my 480's, I do have a couple 470's that just pull massive amounts of power for seemingly no reason. I was assuming the same would be said with that 470-570 since it's just a rebrand.

Also you're saying you have 5 series cards working fine with a modded bios on the latest drivers?
I don't buy 4gb cards, for nothing more than resale value, that is insane. Yes, search my posts in this thread. I listed the cards I bought and all were modded and use the latest drivers. Not that I'm found of AMD's latest and greatest driver attempts, but the new cards won't work with older drivers.

Found the posts you were referencing, so it looks good. If only there was a way to get 6 cards working right now.

In regards to the whole 570-580 4-8, I guess it matters more about what individual needs are. I have a high power cost, so mining with the most efficient card/setting is the biggest deal for me. I understand what you mean about resale. The 8gb cards will sell better than the 4gb ones for sure.
The 480's are more power efficient than the 470's, same should hold true for the 5xx versions. 8gb is more efficient by a larger margin than a 4gb. A 470 is basically a 480 detuned with less efficient cheaper parts. It has no hope of attaining the same power efficiency rating. That is like choking a v-8 with a single barrel carb and expecting it to get higher mileage because the small carb can process less fuel. It doesn't work that way. The cards are tuned for max efficiency using the best parts available. Replacing those high efficiency parts with cheap knock-off don't raise efficiency, they lower it.

An RX460 4GB OC will be arriving soon, I'm betting +20MH/s on this $150 card. We'll see...

LOL, expect closer to 11mh:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/8217-mining-performance-of-gigabyte-windoforce-oc-amd-radeon-rx-460-2gb/

It has about 1/3rd of the horsepower of a RX 480 from a specs standpoint, with just 14 CUs (RX 480 is 32) and a narrow 128bit memory bus

that link says 2gb...

I should have results to post in 24-48 hours.

My HD7950 3GB is doing 20 MH/s ETH & 420 MH/s DCR so the RX460 4GB should do better if you want to break down the 7950's specs.
You would be making more money mining ZCL or ZEC  with 7950's

Hi friends!

For those who has 290s. Im getting 360 h/s. But the card runs at 80 degree celsius. 76% fan speed. Is it normal for that card? I have several 280x. And they run at less then 70°.

No one knows ?

I'm getting 310 h/s on 3 x 290x and 383 h/s on a 390

Temps I have capped not to exceed 83. I am fighting the heat of the south now in my garage. But have had higher hashes during the winter. I don't want to burn em up lol

So I would say your h/s vs. temps is very good and about right  Wink

and yes on the 280x's I run 11 of those and the 4 x 280x rigs average 1.1 kh/s and run cool around 72. Great cards for ZEC  Smiley

Thanks for the info. I just get this card for the first time. All my previous gpu,s were 280xs. Now im not so worry Wink
It might be helpful to mention that air volume is more effective than air temp. A large volume of 100F air will cool cards better than a small volume of 50F air. Junkyard air movers/fans from central units will cool far more effectively than an AC unit blowing on a rig. Tried and proved during ASIC scrypt mining days. Wink

I've tried to read as much about these new cards as I can, but health reasons prevent me from being thorough(recent double heart by-pass surgery).

At this point, what cards seem to be the best bang for the buck? Which are getting the best modded results for dual mining. Earlier I gave my initial results on cards I bought day one, but am curious what cards have turned out to be better than others.............for example in 4xx cards the Sapphires were the best(debatable whether 470 or 480 was best for the buck.)

Wait, are you telling me you earned .385 BTC with Gunbot? In how long?

I have been testing GUNBOT v3 with Bollinger Bands strategy,1 BTC starting capital with only 6/8 pairs.I am now at the middle of day 5 and so far I am averaging + 0.02XBTC (with BTC at 1200€ I am making 22-25 EUR/day in average). Definitely working.
PM me your pairs Smiley

I'm a bit out of the loop.  Is it still possible to mine on a 2GB AMD HD 7850?  I am getting an error about the DAG size.  Are we over 2GB now?  I am still syncing the blockchain, so I can't find the file size on my local computer and have had no luck searching for it online.

I read some posts forum last year saying we would switch to POS instead of POW before the DAG size goes over the 2GB limit.
unLESS YOU HAVE A 4GB OR LARGER CARD ALSO IN THE RIG, THE 2GB WON'T MINE. Try mining Musicoin+DCR in dual mining. (Sorry for the caps but I'm too lazy to retype it all). I think you can also mine zcash/zclassic

Dear Zen developers

How can we get the ZEN wallet that is needed to get the ZEN coins from our ZCL holdings ?

Thank you

I have to assume either English isn't your first language, or you are a special kind of stupid. You quoted the answer to your question, and then asked anyway. Obviously the ZEN wallet won't be released until ZEN is ready to be released.

when do you add Ubiq Huh since musicoin is added so fast i hope this one finaly get  added too
and i hate it to mine on a other site just for one coin

My +1 post was deleted, but here's another vote for Ubiq.  Ethash is the most profitable algorithm for me and Ubiq pops to the top of the most profitable coins from time to time.  I'm not sure how hard it is to add another coin, but it would be most appreciated.

Cryptonight and Equihash are the next most profitable, so all of the other coins on those algorithms would be my next vote: KRB, ZDASH, KMD, BIP, XDN, etc.

Thanks for a great pool!
Mining a coin when it pops to the top of whattomine isn't always your best option. Most people don't even look to see what the coin is actually paying, they just see what is on top and start mining it. Example:

Ethereum(ETH)
Ethash
BT: 15.23s
BR: 4.85
LB: 3,615,603

Exp2
Expanse(EXP)
Ethash

0.01284   $16.57
$15.22   102% | 93%
89% | 91%

Sorry the site fucks up the formatting, but as you can see ETH is on top, but EXP is actually paying more. It is also more profitable to be mining coins where the diff has dropped, instead of what is simply listed on top. It takes time to mine coins, so mining the top coin NOW might not be very profitable by the time you actually get the coins.

I am so confused here and i dont know what the hell to do anymore.

How do you convert the coins you mined to BTC | bitcoin.

I have click on say zcash and then i enter in my address of my bitcoin and then i enter in my pin number and i click on update BUT then it says invalid address , i dont understand

Do you really have to have address for all those coins? this is crazy.

There must be  way to convert all the mined data to BTC ?

Please assist me if you can , and i appreciate lay-mans easy speak please.
I am not advanced.
https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=account&action=autoexchange and set the coin you want to get after exchanges have occurred. In your case, you want BTC, so set it to Bitcoin and click "set auto exchange coin"............you are done.........almost. Coins mined before you set an exchange coin have to be manually sent to the exchange. Let's say for example you have Gamecredits listed under "Balances: on the balance page...........click manage wallet of Gamecredits, then click the transfer arrow to send them to the exchange. Do this for each coin you want exchanged into Bitcoin. Job done. Any coin mined AFTER you set your exchange coin, in this case bitcoin, will automatically be sent to the exchange and you get btc back into your Bitcoin balance.....................keep in mind, this is NOT instant and might take several hours, or on a small volume coin, several days.
