61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: August 01, 2018, 09:01:54 PM
it is difficult to change the public's view of cryptocurrency because this is something new to them and not all of them can understand about cryptocurrency. I think it is better that they can search for themselves and if they have a question, then we can give the answer to them. I don't think that they can understand in the short time because as my experience, we need to explain many things to them and it will need a time before they can understand about cryptocurrency. but soon, after cryptocurrency is available in all the country, then they will learn by themselves.
It may take some time but they will eventuall learn to appreciate cryptos, public perception  can be changed when practical application are harnessed

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Music? on: August 01, 2018, 08:51:35 PM
I think it’s silly to ask this question, but I still must ask. Do you like Music? If so then do you like to such levels that you could invest into something that’s created specifically for Music?

I am talking about iLink2Music. What do you think about this thing? I haven’t seen any ICO so far with this concept in such detailed manner. What do you think? Will the Music lovers like this? And if so then why and IF you were to invest in this then why? I will really love to hear views of people here!

For me one OBVIOUS reason is that they have low price with 40% bonus! What’s your take?

https://ilink2music.co/
The music space need not be left out of the rapid innovations being brought by the blockchain, i think this will be an addition too, I am familiar with vibes, they even have their tokens listed
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: July 30, 2018, 06:42:22 PM
Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?
KYC or no KYC, it really doesnt make any difference as far as I am concerned.I have seen even scam project saying they will conduct KYC and ended up scamming investors
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrencies are going down on: July 30, 2018, 06:14:52 PM
They will eventually rise again, it has always been like that, the market is dynamic, dips like these offer buyers opportunity to enter the market at a good price
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 29, 2018, 09:35:28 PM
Depending on where we see the coins, because market behavior affects the survival or absence of the coin on the market. Currently a lot of alternatives coins with good roadmap forced to delist from some exchangers because of lack of interest in traders.
In my opinion, for coins in circulation in addition to a good project supported and clear, should be supported by the community in order to survive in the market, especially when supported by exchangers like currently there are pair btc, ltc, doge, eth and so on
Sure, The principal reason why a coin may get delisted is if traders lose interest in such, this is often preceded by the developers abandoning the project or not doing enough to give such coin value
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 29, 2018, 09:32:11 PM
Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
I particularly do not favor altcoins that their sole function is in making payments (aside the traditional and older coins).Any new coin should offer something simply more than payment system.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: July 27, 2018, 06:48:16 PM
What does this tell us?
I do not know what to think anymore!
BTC just went under 9K
I believe the price of ethereum will explode very soon even as the entire market is showing early signs of a recovery. Ethereum is amazing
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: July 26, 2018, 06:52:06 PM
Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are not tied to any gender, there are obviously a lot of women in cryptocurrencies. Maybe just the men dominating the space.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin as the preferred form of Money? Sparring Debate on: July 26, 2018, 06:48:47 PM
Peter Schiff and Erik Voorhees holds some interesting debate on the value of crypto-currency. Erik Voorhees is the CEO of shapeshift, Peter Schiff the CEO of  Euro Pacific capital.
Erik argument centers on the merits of bitcoin and can be broken down into four sections
1. Why bitcoin is good money
   a. Scarce
   b. divisible
   c. recognizable
   d. durable
   e. cannot be counterfeited
   f. portable
   g. programmable in a digital age.

2. Why fiat is bad money
    a. Pyramid scheme,created at will
    b. not durable
    c. not scarce
    d. third part trust as foundation of your wealth
    e. not portable

3. Why Gold and other forms of market-based money are insufficient
   a. not scalable
   b. not portable
   c. impractical in a modern economy

4. Why bitcoin will win
   a. decentralized
   b. easy access to financial services

Peter Schiff, acknowledge that fiat was deficient but that bitcoin is not the future
1. Fiats backed (initially with gold), now with government trust.
2. Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.
3. Scarcity is arbitrary fixed
4. Bitcoin is not a reliable store of value. lacks certainty in value.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn token and coin free ? on: July 25, 2018, 08:22:58 PM
You should consider airdrops and bounties, a lot abound on this space. Alternatively if you have some special skills such as coding skills, you could contact some project teams to sell your skills to them.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: July 25, 2018, 08:18:47 PM
In General, this option can be considered. No wonder that talk about this has been going on for several months. We will wait
It will still take a couple of years before EtHereum can finally match bitcoin in terms of market capitalization, there is too much sentiments surrounding bitcoins
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: July 25, 2018, 08:15:39 PM
I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the  different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by  its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with. That is why i am taking credit to ether as best crypto next to bitcoin because of the platforms being used by most of the crypto as well. What do you think? isn't it ether is the best crypto?
The only edge bitcoin seem to have over ethereum at the moment is because it was the first cryptos, Ethereum has more functionality and is much more open to further possibilities than with bitcoin.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WALL STREETS:WHAT KIND OF CRYPTOCURRENCY WILL INTEREST THEM on: July 20, 2018, 09:12:04 PM
I have often wondered what kind of crypto projects would interest them apart from bitcoins, ethereum and ripple ( which have large market capitalization)? They handle billions of dollars of their clients portfolios.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we compensate bounty hunters when ICOs fail? on: July 20, 2018, 09:06:51 PM
It would have been nice to see such happen, but as it is,there is no money from the ICO they can use to compensate for the bounty hunters, project member will not have the resources to do that
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats you biggest day trading loss on: July 19, 2018, 09:26:04 AM

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Invests on: July 19, 2018, 09:23:27 AM
Stick to bitcoin, ethereum , EOS, those are my pick for now, there are others also, check the ones that suits your fancies, try to pick coins with reputation
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: July 19, 2018, 09:20:46 AM
I keep wondering why people keep using the example that bitcoin is used as a means to launder money as an excuse to suppress the use of bitcoin, how about Gold, USD, exotics goods, precious metals, politicians etc..they are also use for same, they too should be banned
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: July 18, 2018, 11:22:42 AM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!
Well, it is obvious that the so-called Tone Vays is ignorant if he can not see the facts before him. I wonder what he considers to be scams or what is not.
