Other than scams exchanges and occasionally cases of hacks involving large amounts of money, most exchanges will actually thrive, they are in for a lot of money as more ICOs are propping up

Bitcoin alone cannot cover the crypto ecosystem.I has a lot of limitations and certainly can not be used to for certain stuffs like smart contracts as you would with ETH. there are a lot of good altcoins

I currently avoid most airdrops for now because a lot of them are either scams,poor projects that eventually gets abandoned or the rewards are just too small. Of what use is an airdrop worth 1-5 $

The hardware wallets are the best. A major problem with myetherwallet most times is with the use of private keys to sign transactions, one may end up on a phishing site and give it away to hackers. That's one of the reasons I prefer Metamask

No one can hack your Ethereum  wallet unless your private key was compromised. I am sure you stored them in your email. You should have kept it offline .sorry for your loss

My thoughts  too, you just confirmed it. I do hope scanners do not use this to milk people  of their hard earned money like they did with the telegram scam ICO not long ago

I am very much in doubt if Mark Zuckerberg is going to launch a coin for facebook anytime soon. His stance on crypto is at best neutral if not antagonizing it.

I am in a similar situation ,although I have sold some when they price spike a little and was able to pay them back at a fairly lower price,essentially more tokens.I intend to hold them becasue eventually the prices will go up again.

bitcoin serves as a store of value,it derives its value from the what the community of user rates it to be,by way of trade,unlike fiats whose value are set by government without anything backing it.

I know ASICs are much more efficient as far mining btc is concerned but i kind of prefer GPUS for the single advantage you can easily mine other coins with them especially if bitcoin becomes unprofitable.May be its time to sell them off(ASICS)

One should never expose his or her private keys, and if you see someone who did just that, you either warn such through a private chat or ignore the message all together.We should really be dealing with other peoples private keys,even if it is scam.scammers are getting dirtier,we should be smarter.

There is so much up and down movements in prices, if you are smart ,it is always a good time to invest, however when you buy will also influence when you sell.

I have been using Hitbtc for a couple of years now and I have never had any issues with them other than the occasional delays in withdrawals of erc20 tokens caused by network cngestion
