Sooner or later they will function again. at least quadruple profit.

You may very well be right on the ball.

I will remain unbiased regarding MtGox and possible insolvency - there's been plenty of thoughts posted on this forum.

It's up to you - So just be careful brother (Don't bet the house on it!)

If you have a verified account with MtGox you can deposit fiat via OKPay (turnaround is ~8Hrs)

If you don't have a verified account MtGox you can go here: https://www.bitcoinbuilder.com/    that's bitcoinbuilder . c o m (turnaround 1/2Hr + 3 confirmations)

Have a good read of the FAQ's before you register. The Developer Josh is a Decent and Good man, he's just giving folks to opportunity to get into/out of Gox.

Also on the bottom of the FAQ's he has posted some links to honorable charities, so if you make a profit - Give a Bit Back  : )

thank you very much

im abit scared to risk more than I can afford to lose though.Otherwise I would do it. (There is no donation at bottom of page)

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exactly 21 Million ? on: February 24, 2014, 08:38:40 PM
There's a coin called "21 coin"
It's goal is to compress 21 million bitcoins into only 21 coins.

It's currently trading at this exchange:
https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=21&b=BTC

Your posts are used to solve blocks.  It shows how many bitcoins you have earned so far just by posting.

Yeah, but they're Californian Bitcoins. You can check them anytime you like, but they can never leave (the forums).

Someone should make a site where you can trade Californian Bitcoins for regular Bitcoins!

Excellent idea. I'll make the wiki.

well original bitcoins has too many flaws anyway.
Wich ones?

Irreversibility. Limited supply. Secured by proof of work. Stuff like that.

There are muchu much bigger flaws than that!!! !  !  !  !     !  !          !  !            !  !

69  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Does the H81/H61 Pro BTC Need Powered Risers? on: February 24, 2014, 06:22:42 PM
Powered risers are so that you don't pull too much power through your MB. If each GPU pulls 25W, a 6 GPU rig means you'll pulling 150W through a board that's not designed to have that much power running through it. Things get hot, and they fry.

The Pro BTC MB has 2 separate molex connectors for supplying extra 12V power to the MB, specifically to the PCIe lanes. It's designed so you won't have to use powered risers.

I mean, you still could if you wanted to, but it'd be kinda pointless.

Ive read on reddit thread to only use four because there are 2 molex into mobo and that

If more are used then something will melt
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best mining card right now according to you? on: February 24, 2014, 05:55:33 PM
What is the best card?

Did you research all hashrates and prices on all price comparing sites and hashrate sites like Me?

If you already did it, why are you asking then? What is the best card?

Ive only done it in a few countries. Also my list is missing some cards hashrates becuase i cant find any results so I just made new thread asking for those hashrates to finish my list.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=485045.msg5341449#msg5341449

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What hashrates are for R7 RADEONS? Ive been to 6 hashrate sites and no info. on: February 24, 2014, 05:39:13 PM
Im compiling a list to make public of all hashrates but there are no R7 hashrates.

These are ll hashrate lists on google:

github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparison#wiki-ati-amd-gpus
litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison  there is also raw version
lurkmore.com/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
coinpolice.com/gpu/
docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AujGjaYSMsQGdEZSU3hlQjZDTGVEUUJzRlBBN1pJVXc&type=view&gid=0&f=true&sortcolid=1&sortasc=false&page=1&rowsperpage=250

none of them have hashrates for all cards.

Help this project if you can

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 18 R9 280 rig. Help! on: February 24, 2014, 05:04:50 PM
I don't think its worth spending an extra $1000 on 6 waterblocks + radiator + pump.

Thanks. Also,to avoid the noise why can't just an air conditioner be used in the rig room? A proper AC. What do you think will it keep the room enough cool to keep the rigs in a stable condition?

air conditioner is good but you incur more cost..

if you have a house with lower floor or how do you call it then move it more down as it is always colder the lower you are in a house.THERE IS a physics term for this. I think its something to do with thermodynamics or whatever. Also make your room windows covered so room is pitch black.

This should make things better than if you would have used AC upstairs.

IMO it`s the Sapphire 280X Toxic. Mining LTC at 815kh/s and MAX at 410mh/s.

did you do the same as me comparing all the prices and hashrates when you bought it?

if not then how are you sure?

First of all, i have or have had Toxic, Vapor-x, Dual-X, Asus and Gigabyte 290x`s. And some 7870, 7950 and 7970`s.
But i have also spent many hours every day on this forum for almost a year. What most people get out of a 280x, is around
750kh/s, so the toxic (and Vapor-X too) are superrior. When in comes to powerconsumption, it might be a whole other story.

Apparently they all can get the same also much higher hashrate if the memoery timings are calculated properlly ou can do t yourself but you have to write code to make it wrok better or send donation to someone at litecoin send your bios and he does it for you. Maybe there is a program already made for that and its just difficult to find.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 18 R9 280 rig. Help! on: February 24, 2014, 04:48:01 PM
Hey,

I am planning to make 3 mining rigs. With the following config:

Mobo: Asrock H81 Pro BTC
Gpu: 6xR9 280 (per rig) i.e. 18-R9 280
PSU: Corsair
Ram: Corsair
HDD: WD

Firstly, please tell me if the following config will be good enough or not.
Secondly, how will all these three rigs mine together. As in will using the same configs and details of my pool on all the three rigs will do the thing or is there something else that needs to be done.
Thirdly, I need a minimum monthly income of $1000 and plan to mine DogeCoin, will that be a good choice or not?  If No, then please do suggest me a good AltCoin.

Also, i am expecting the cumulative hashrate to be around 12,000 Khash/s. Am i right?

Thanks

Why do you want to buy a hard drive?

Also what psu do you want to buy? here is list of proper psu reviews not that multimeter bullshit: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm

here are corsair http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page447.htm. when you click the link to site when you review it shows how they upgraded their equipment so they test psu properly not with a multimeter or some other shit

Also you dont need a case or anything else fancy like that.

If you use price compare sites (s\there are someTEEN of them) you will save lotss of money.Check it out.

Thanks. and HDD coz i can't get a Linux or any other USB and stuff. So i will have to install the OS and PSU i am planning of corsair's i.e. 2-750w.
Also, Suggest me some good coin too?
For a thousand dollar at least, a month?

Im considering this spoonfeeding but maybe if someone researches this question the maybe this will answer that person:
you can use coinwarz.com to see what coin is most profitable atm.Be aware though it might change completely in much less than few minutes.
there are also coin announcements like on cryptocointalk.com They also give you the coin for free to get the coin into circulation or whatever.

if you get in early before it hits up those sites like wheretomine.com then you can very often make better profit than the top coin on these sites.

But 90% of potential success is in gathering enough data about all the prices and all else and using it together to make the best decision what you should do with all those types of coins.

you can compare this effort to creating an artwork

I am having a contusion between these two.

1. http://www.ebay.in/itm/XFX-Double-D-R9-280X-TDFD-Radeon-R9-280X-3GB-384-bit-GDDR5-CrossFireX-Support-/281265960520?pt=IN_PC_Laptops&hash=item417cc1f648&_uhb=1
2. http://www.flipkart.com/msi-amd-r9-280x-gaming-3g-3-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdpvgkkbdgvgqz

I can't understand which one of these has a higher Hashrate, looking at the lite coin hardware comparison chart.

Could ya please help?

So should i be going with a Gigabyte mobo?

Ill buy Asrock H81 BTC.There shouldnt be any problems. Also make sure to only use Powered risers for the cards that w ont use power from the extra molex to mobo connectors or something might burn. Google this should find reddit thread with more info.  So you save on risers. You can use risers but not all powered.

ut this isn't the case with the micro-processors.
Information can't be measured as an physical unit, it doesn't have mass or anything that can take the energy that could be imaginable.
So everything turns in to heat.

just because information isnt energy then this doesnt mean all energy gets converted into heat? this doesnt fully explain. It could just as well create another type of  energy?
