Hey,

I am planning to make 3 mining rigs. With the following config:

Mobo: Asrock H81 Pro BTC
Gpu: 6xR9 280 (per rig) i.e. 18-R9 280
PSU: Corsair
Ram: Corsair
HDD: WD

Firstly, please tell me if the following config will be good enough or not.
Secondly, how will all these three rigs mine together. As in will using the same configs and details of my pool on all the three rigs will do the thing or is there something else that needs to be done.
Thirdly, I need a minimum monthly income of $1000 and plan to mine DogeCoin, will that be a good choice or not?  If No, then please do suggest me a good AltCoin.

Also, i am expecting the cumulative hashrate to be around 12,000 Khash/s. Am i right?

Thanks

You need to make sure wherever you will be setting this up is capable of supplying atleast 5000W.

Ah, yeah electricity is not much of a problem. Quite cheap too just $0.10 kw/h

What about the other things?

Thanks

How can I tell you if your config is good if you barely listed any components?

i dont think he meant supplying 5000w via paying the bill. you need to be able to supply that much to the wall without burning your house down.

Yes you need enough outlets from separate fuses, so that the fuses wont go off.
From 230V outlet and 10A fuse you can get 2300W.
Also when the time comes to enlarge your mining farm you will need to know do you have big enough main-fuses in your house to
support such a high energy consumption.
Also you will need big enough PSU's for your rig.
I would prefer you to use only 3-4 gpus in on motherboard, since the cost of the psu will be ridiculous.
This way you could save money, use it on gpu's and scatter the risk of rig-failure.

Yeah i have several switches, so 5000w from the wall is not an issue.
Also, Is 5000w the accurate supply or their is a need of +/- in terms of power.

Thanks

Do 6 rigs. 3 cards per rig.
PSU min.1000w golden/platinum efficiency, could use two 750w powers also but considering you are noob, I wouldn't start with two PSU. Google this.
Undervolt your GPU's. Google this.
Ram 4-8Gb 1333 DDR3 /rig
HDD: NO hdd use litecoinBAMT and usb-stick. Google this

Remember to use only two rigs behind one fuse. So you need at least 3 individual supply-lines from your fusebox to your rigs.
See that there is no other load behind those fuses.
You will need allso risers for your GPUs and a case of some sort. Google this

and Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H Motherboard along with two 750w PSU per rig.

Why do you want to buy a hard drive?

Also what psu do you want to buy? here is list of proper psu reviews not that multimeter bullshit: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm

here are corsair http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page447.htm. when you click the link to site when you review it shows how they upgraded their equipment so they test psu properly not with a multimeter or some other shit

Also you dont need a case or anything else fancy like that.

If you use price compare sites (s\there are someTEEN of them) you will save lotss of money.Check it out.

in my opininon you shant give bad advice. You can have 8 gpus if you manage to find big bang marshal motherboard. You can do even more if you have pci-e splitters.

Also, Suggest me some good coin too?

Yeah, might be so. I just have had very bad experiences with boards over 4 pci-e slots. Today I'd hope that I never had tried. But I'm planning to soon.

Im considering this spoonfeeding but maybe if someone researches this question the maybe this will answer that person:
you can use coinwarz.com to see what coin is most profitable atm.Be aware though it might change completely in much less than few minutes.
there are also coin announcements like on cryptocointalk.com They also give you the coin for free to get the coin into circulation or whatever.

if you get in early before it hits up those sites like wheretomine.com then you can very often make better profit than the top coin on these sites.

But 90% of potential success is in gathering enough data about all the prices and all else and using it together to make the best decision what you should do with all those types of coins.

you can compare this effort to creating an artwork

Thanks. Also,to avoid the noise why can't just an air conditioner be used in the rig room? A proper AC. What do you think will it keep the room enough cool to keep the rigs in a stable condition?
