The coin is worthless if transactions take a day to confirm.

65  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Quick question: How do exchanges handle orders at the same price? on: May 13, 2014, 08:45:06 PM
First in, First out.  That is how they should be doing it, it is the only fair or equitable way of doing that.

I'm confused. Does that mean the newest orders are filled or the oldest?
66  Economy / Service Discussion / Quick question: How do exchanges handle orders at the same price? on: May 13, 2014, 08:20:08 PM
Example, say at cryptsy I place an order to buy doge at 102 satoshis, 1 BTC worth. There are a total of 7BTC worth of buy orders at that price, including mine. Let's say someone sells 1 BTC worth of doge at that price, filling 1 BTC worth of the 7 BTC of buy orders. How does the system determine who to credit the buy order to? Is it a queue system where the oldest order gets filled first?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What's good to GPU Mine now that Scrypt ASIC's are coming out? on: May 13, 2014, 06:54:37 PM
Trying to find something to mine while my 2x 7970's are idle. X11 is probably my favorite because of low energy consumption and low heat (doesn't heat up my bedroom very much) but that hasn't been very profitable as of late. Are there any other algorithms that would be good to GPU mine? I've tried scrypt-n and that's okay but looking for other algos.

Keep in mind.... that 22MH pretty much already includes them being overclocked max w/o mod or pretty close.

Still, stock is 20-21mhs, which isn't far off.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much does the Gridseed G-Blade heat up a room? on: May 12, 2014, 07:48:22 PM
first of all, how did you get that deal?

2nd of all, not much, they are only 140-160w a piece... lower the power consumption, generally lower the heat output =)

http://zoomhash.com/collections/top-sellers/products/22mhs-all-accessories-included-kit-door-to-door-within-5-business-days-guaranteed

With coupon ZOOM5.

I'm usually not one for ASIC's, but it ROI's by October at current prices.

did you consider all the other big asics hitting the market in 2-3 weeks plus more big guys coming July/August?

I initially thought this was a good price when I saw their post.. but im not totally sold yet
Even at 3.5%, it still ROI's in October. Still a far better deal than the others out there.

At current prices with 3.5%.

With LTC at $20

I just bought 4 of them for $2310 on zoomhash, a real bargain. Anyway, they're intended to replace my GPU's mining. My GPU's mined at 75 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius for Scrypt and increased the temperature in my bedroom a good 10 degrees. What temperature do the blades run at and should I expect a large temperature increase also?

I have create this poll to choose the Third Site

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=599923.0

This Release 1.4 is very important because the C.A.T. structure will change from a single site application program to multi site.
BtcE is very hard to implements, but with some changes i think it works fine.

So the Beta Test is for check if the multi-site structure is ok.

After that, add a new site it will be easier.  Wink
Any news when the BTC-e version will be available?

How long did it take you all to pick up strategies and start making a return?

Are you interested in adding other type of transaction/trades to CAT ?

Based on EMA/MA or  triangle transactions.

Yes it could be interested.
After the release of the new C.A.T. - Multi Site i could think about this kind of algorithm. but are you sure that in cryptocurrency markets (with low volume and high speculation) this kind of algorithms will works good?

On BTC-e it works for sure. On cryptsy i have successfully tested about 10 markets and it works.

Triangle transactions will work for sure on multi CAT users, using the waiting option not direct transaction. Direct transaction limits the volume and possibility to trade to a specific amount spread between all the users using this type of transaction.

Waiting option will lock the profit on successful first transaction.
Has your balance increased on cryptsy? Sure you can gain 0.2BTC but if the market goes down and your coins are devalued by 0.3BTC, then you're seeing a loss, hence why I asked if you've seen a net profit.

What do you all use to calculate your estimated balance and gain/loss? There's the cryptsy estimation, CAT estimation, total cumulative gain, and market cumulative gain. I have no idea what is the most accurate.

If anyone wants to help me with tips and pointers to optimize profit, I'll send you a cut of profits. PM me.

You must remember that if anyone gives you tips, then he or she is creating competition for his own bot or he gives you information to work against your bot.... Shocked Undecided

I'll consider that, but I think I can figure it out if I try it with a little BTC and it's not profitable.
