61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I have to claim my EOS tokens? on: September 21, 2017, 02:35:34 AM
Nope you don't need to do anything. You can rest assured of that. The people you talking about might have been claiming these coins from a airdrop or bounty or something. Ask in their Announcement thread they will help you there.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King in Russia Issues its own Cryptocurrency based on Waves on: September 21, 2017, 02:27:25 AM
Lol. The blockchain runs on whopper burger sales. One burger every ten seconds so one coin every ten seconds. So how long to make 1 billion burgers ? xP

In the article there are people posting from face book. One said he bough 100k tokens. Where would he have bought them ?

as my understanding it is like a reward points system that every time you buy whopper you will receive whoppercoin that you can suddenly exchange into their item. I cant say that this will be a currency, it is like in 7 eleven that they have they so called reward card that everytime you buy you will received a points and you can redeem item using it. Burger king Gen. Director say that they will just test the system first so it have a 50-50 that they will release some of this son. BUT for me it is a good news as the growing adoption of crypto are being test in some physical store. Thanks for sharing!

Yep it is like a reward system. This is one of the very many ways bitcoin can be implemented.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy or wait? on: September 21, 2017, 02:17:09 AM
Buy or wait is the name of the game when it comes to trading. I think each person will adapt their own strategy according to how they learn and experience or study. As you get further into trading you will get better and better.  I prefer smaller trades but many of them. Bigger trades are very risky and too risky for my liking so I adapt to that.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: crypto hedge fund? on: September 21, 2017, 01:53:05 AM
Thank you for sharing this. Its very interesting and I subscribed to it. True or not I believe I can learn something. It does have a few things that concern me.

First off I don't know anything about these guys so this is purely my opinion. No insider/any knowledge to back this up. And wait for the white paper, but stuff like the following quote usually scares me. "Our current returns are over 25% per month." If it's too good to be true it usually is.

Nope its not just your opinion and this is also one of the things that I have reason for concern. This was my first consern when I saw this statement. "invest In Strategies That Pofit In Both Bearish And Bullish Markets Without Major Drawdowns" the past where they claim there will not be major draw backs but later on in a out the middle of the article it says that it is possible you can lose money. Why can't they just be honest ?

I agree with you 25% sounds like nonesense. It is possible but that's for individuals making investments and not for a group asking us for investments. People that can make 25% per month will not share that Info and the 25% would be capped because you not investing everything you have.
65  Economy / Gambling / Re: September 17 : Participate in chess tournament and win bitcoins! on: September 20, 2017, 11:25:02 PM
It's a very good idea. Playing games like this would be great fun and it's not just chess its many other games. The problem is that people will always want to cheat when it comes to winning money.

Very unfortunate that people will ruin things like this since I really like chess. For the life of me I can't figure out anyway to get around this issue. Any ideas ?
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good Online Dice, When You Can Win Up To 0.1 BTC In 30 Minutes on: September 20, 2017, 10:59:42 PM
Maybe try the lottery and hope for the best ? If you want to win for free or only a small amount. It is possible but it will take a long time collecting free give always and promotional offers. We all wish and want to win that amount of btc so good luck to you and I hope you get a big win.
67  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why has no fiat casino adopted provably fair gambling? on: September 20, 2017, 10:41:33 PM
Which do you guys think is safer ? Fiat or crypto ? I have no idea but I guess I lean towards crypto being safer because if the blockchain. How exactly do fiat casinos prove they legit and fair ? Crypto uses blockchain then what does fiat use ? Anyone know ?
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: September 20, 2017, 10:36:17 PM
Who know ? Bitcoin might not be around something better took its place and everybody sent their bitcoin to get this new method of payment working. Though everyone reading this will be dead by then unless we find a way to live longer.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 20, 2017, 10:19:35 PM
Yes !! Definitely !! Look what btc did to China ! So surely the banks fear the same thing. They fear a takeover because they know it will happen Smiley

Bitcoin has shown us over and over again it can handle anything thrown at it and it works perfectly well as a payment process and is strong and decentralized and run by the people for the people.
70  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚫️ BITOK DICE CASINO ⚫️ NEW GAME added! Play for BTC || ✔Investors welcome on: September 20, 2017, 09:26:03 PM
I'm a holder of bitok invested in yobit it gives better return but I still think its good you offer investment in bitok. Bitok has been Soong really badly so of we can get it to go up like it was imagine that ? Could be rich. They scarce and so cheap now so I bought a few thousand. Hopefully we will see some more bitok gambling taking place.
Hello, JasonXG!
We think that you have a mistake because of our coin called BITOKCOIN (not BITOK). And we do not sell our coin on youbit.

Because of many mistakes we will change a name of our coin and restart pre-ico.
Thanks.

Oh lol sorry ^^

So if we own your coins we are a holder of shares ? I'm a bit confused.

Welcome to separate discussion of ICO here

New ICO landing

BOUNTY program is available!

Thanks I will have a look.

The stats on your ico page are not really impressive until now. Pre-ICO is supposed to end on 27.9.2017, having a goal to accumulate 960 ETH and got just 0.7+ ETH by now.
Do you have any promotions going on for your site? If not, you better do that, because this way, i don't see your site going towards success, at all.
Good luck.

I'm worried about this too. Dev please tell us what the plan is ? Will people still vet their bounty ? Can people invest their bounty instead of just selling it ?
71  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCQUEEN.com - #1 BTC Casino Review Website on: September 20, 2017, 09:21:26 PM
It's not a bad shot. Looks good so far. Its still new but you off to a good start. I like the btc queen you made. You should make more images of her in the site doing different things. Also give reasons why we should trust a specific casino. I see you have a good Q&A section and what to look for in a casino. Very nicely put together.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland issues warning on fake cryptocurrencies, shuts down E-coin on: September 20, 2017, 08:59:58 PM
Actually I have not heared about this news, but if Switzerland is aiming at specific coins that are used to scam the investors, they have my support if they want to take them out.
On nice thing I have noticed the past few days: the news reporting about bitcoin is brightening up.
China is not the all dominating topic anymore.

We are all tired of the negativity coming from China so this is very welcoming news for all of us. Switzerland once again made a swift move to stop those scammers and further prevent them getting money from unsuspecting victims. They are bitcoin very and moving to the correct direction unlike China we took a step back.

What is exactly a fake cryptocurrency?
Did they promised to deliver a coin only to grab money and never intended to deliver a coin?
Or was the problem the lack of a license Huh

As per FINMA itself:

Quote
Unlike real cryptocurrencies, which are stored on distributed networks and use blockchain technology, E-Coins were completely under the providers' control and stored locally on its servers. The providers had suggested that E-Coins would be 80% backed by tangible assets, but the actual percentage was significantly lower. Moreover, substantial tranches of E-Coins were issued without sufficient asset backing, leading to a progressive dilution of the E-Coin system to the detriment of investors.

So its pretty obvious that's its not decentralized. They have investigated and found grounds to really shutdown the scammer. Too bad they chose the wrong country and was caught red-handed.

Yes you are right, the silly scammer is not so bright. Definitely the wrong country to mess around in. Something I don't understand is about the currency being backed up by assets. It doesn't matter because even the US treasury backs up the current money in circulation and it doesn't have to either. So that was a bad point to whoever said that.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So when do you "actually" plan to cash in your bitcoin? > or <$1,000,000 on: September 20, 2017, 08:25:52 PM
Why cash out ? You can spend your bitcoin by then. Smiley

Yes, we all want bitcoin to hit the $1 million mark, but do you plan to sell before then or even if it hits $1,000,000 would you really sell then? So the question is, have you thought about when you plan to cash in or don't you plan to cash out?

This is really a difficult question to answer and it's due to everybody greed that they wanted bitcoin to reach so high so they can be rich but in the real sense even if it reached that amount. A lot of people will still sift pedalled and say "hey, why don't I wait a little bit its going to reach $2 million in 6 months".

The only thing that would make one cash out and not regret is to do it once and never looked back, shut out everything that have to do with bitcoin and continue with other areas of life because with constant checking of activities on the forum, speculation threads,  news around the globe, countries adopting bitcoin for foreign reserves, one is sure to die of frustration very early.

I don't think you should get out of the bitcoin world. Its a method of pay and you can still use it to make payments and for your finance. After all that is what it is for.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: September 20, 2017, 07:30:27 PM
Buying things online is horrible and a pain. I've always wanted to buy things online but and now I finally can. Its also so easy its almost unbelievable. I love that I can finally buy what I want without going through a huge mission with Paypal or some other equally annoying payment processor.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: September 20, 2017, 07:21:35 PM
Your parents don't want you to make money online ? Why ? Do they prefer you to not have a job or any responsibility ?

What do tour parents actually want!
I would love to know the answer to this question.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: September 20, 2017, 07:18:19 PM

77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Don't buy "Cold Storage" wallets off eBay on: September 20, 2017, 07:11:18 PM
Why would you buy a bitcoin wallet ? What advantage do you get? This is ridiculous. Unless its a scammer selling more value then it is like $1000 btc for $400. In which case it is a scam.

Bottom line is don't be stupid and If you buy a wallet that you deserve to lose it.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: September 20, 2017, 06:21:46 PM
Lol it makes me laugh to read some people say it's because your parents want to protect you like its a good thing. Its pure ignorance on tour parents part and denying you is plain wrong. My parents are very happy I found bitcoin.

Also an overprotective parent stifles your growth.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: September 20, 2017, 02:42:05 AM
What do you mean when you say "collecting" btc ? This would depend on how you collect your your btc. So it is definitely and entirely possible to profit from bitcoin as well as earning it from whatever you good at like mining or promotion or SEO or running a website or whatever it is.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the moon! No China no more problems. on: September 20, 2017, 02:29:43 AM
Most people say that it is over $5000 I think they are right.  Btc still needs to recover this crash its had. That is why I say realistically anything over $5000 could happen.

China government is banned. But the peoples of china i dont think they agreed with that.
Bitcoin like a black market to them now. lol. That will not stopping them from buying and selling i think.  Who dont want money. They will comeback.. absolutely.

Yes but China is a bit crazy. Look at their laws. The way people are brought up in China is to blindly obey the government.
