Everything seems to be fine from the team with MVP they have already developed, but the major problem with the current situation COVID-19, where many people afraid of investing in these tough times. Maybe Cartes I IEO will be postponed, we should wait and see how far these people will work with IEO listing.

Relax dude, you thinking about it too far, however people have rights to invest or not but when they see a good project in their eyes, I'm sure they wouldn't miss it just like that. It's too early to talk about postponed, just make a positif assume about it, if the funds collected is enough, it will be not happen, although this we have often encountered in several ICOs.

Everything behind the scenes is going well. If the team doesn't conduct an IEO, then a direct listing will occur on a solid exchange. But, the best thing we can say at this time is follow our Telegram News Channel for the latest announcements. When the time is right, the team will fulfill on what they ultimately set out to achieve -- building Cartesi a true portal between the tools that already exist on Linux for the development of scalable DApps. This will be occurring regardless of what occurs in the near future.

Cartesi Scalability and The CTSI Utility Token

As blockchain projects mature and our understanding of the technology progresses, it becomes ever more clear what challenges impede its mainstream adoption:

  • Convenience — developing and using a blockchain application is still an overwhelming task, involving a very difficult learning curve and consequently significantly reducing general interest in the technology;
  • Scalability — Blockchains need to perform as well as centralized technology in order to be able to compete with it.

March Monthly Recap: Moving Forward

It’s hard to believe in light of the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent downturn of both the crypto and equity markets, that we’re only 3 months into 2020.

Despite this global uncertainty, Cartesi is still all hands on deck. We continue to progress in our: development, marketing and business development; everyone involved behind the scenes remains as vigilant as ever. We are continually optimizing our strategies and internal plans in order to meet the expectations of our community members and stakeholders, establishing Cartesi as the first decentralized operating system for DApps.

Yes this is a legitimate thread because it was created by Cartesi's own account. I don't know why ANN has 2 but I don't think this will be a problem.

Cartesi has a good developer so it's worth following.

There was an error with creating that other thread. It has now been locked. Apologies and thank you for keeping a close watch for other potential fraudulent accounts!

We could have moved to the new thread started by you @Cartesi.
But is your call. Good luck!

Ah that's quite alright for the meantime. We're good friends with Bubbalex and have occasional communications with him. Potentially in the future we'll open up our own thread, but we wouldn't want to abandon previous discussions and the enthusiasm from supporters, in this thread.

Thank you KiD ~ !

You do have an active thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211981.0, then why open a new one? Is this just kind of a mistake by the one handling this account or the other thread will be closed? This board is for coins meaning those who have their own chain and as I can see Cartesi is an ERC-20 token so this means this should be posted on Tokens (Altcoins) board just same from the old thread unless as I said earlier if that one is going to be locked or this one instead.

This thread was created in error. It will be locked.

On March 10th, we are hosting our first ever #Creepts Decentralized Tournament Contest! It will occur at 5am GMT and last for 24-hours.  This will occur on Ethereum's Rinkeby Testnet, if you need assistance in setting it up then join our Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/Pt2NrnS

There will be 1 winner of this tournament, the full rules and details will be released prior to the tournament beginning. The award will be $200 in CTSI at exchange listing time.

Hello, as I see the previous post, we needed eth right to play on the testnet competition? In this upcoming event do we need to store one just to participate? Im thinking if the rewards that be given would be on ethereum or usdt as we dont know yet any token metrics for the project.

You do not need an Eth balance to play on the testnet or in this competition. Gas fees may only be required once Creepts is on the mainnet.

The value is pegged to USD, and takes on that price when you get distributed this amount, for whatever the exchange price is.
Where this competition rules i can't find out? Only 1 days left to start it. 200$ woth CSTI tokens for the winner, It's price will count after exchange listing or IEO price? I'm not cleared yet. However, when exchanges listing will release?  Cartesi team's all efforts really will deserve huge possibility to success end of the day.

They will be posted within 1-3 hours of this message. There will be a Medium article and all announcement channels will have this information.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: CARTESI - A Layer-2 Linux Infrastructure for DApps - CREEPTS TOURNAMENT $200 on: March 08, 2020, 05:55:29 PM
This will still be the same as the previous tower defense game right? I've searched for the winners on your social media platforms and seen it on your telegram channels I really missed that announcement, I thought I had the best score on that with 400k+ score. Is there a way to know how much do the winners score on the previous contest? I really glad at least to know if I'm close even on the first level of the entire tournament.

By the way, the medium link in this thread has a grammatical error with extra "t" so if ever anyone clicks it it will give an error on the medium page.

Thank you, that link has been corrected!

This contest is different, since it will run on Ethereum's Rinkeby Testnet, you do need to set that up through metamask. We encourage you to read through the guide on: https://creepts.cartesi.io/ "How to Play"

Overall, we do suspect not everyone will understand this tournament, but the winner who does follow the rules and achieves the highest score will be awarded the prize.

In regards to the previous contest, it was announced:

Cartesi is a decentralized and scalable Linux infrastructure that solves the problems of computational scalability and development infrastructure for the decentralized web. With Cartesi, Blockchain applications can be coded with the vast domain of mainstream software stacks available today. Applications run off-chain, with the strong security guarantees of the blockchain, but free from its computation limits and high costs.

We've recently launched our first DApp which showcases the possibilities of using Cartesi.

Everything just stopped at the prediction and of course Cartesi team will not disclose any information until there is news about IEO. I think $0.1 is possible, but the thing I'm most worried about is the supply of the project. However, it is expected that the project will use only 5% of the total supply to develop as this is a very interesting project and there will surely be a lot of investors.

I am not worried about the total number of cartesi supply in terms of the number as long as the team is able to manage well, it will run well when the sales are published, but all of them are still question marks when this sale will occur?

Maybe investors have been waiting and are impatient with the launch of their own tokens.
yes unfortunately many are curious and all are not even clear about their sales, that's why many people are waiting for this important news in the certasi community, but before the launch of IEO sales begins we just look at the progress that continues to be done so that when launching the certasi product does not experience obstacles

Cartesi is in the process of negotiating and securing private funding. Accordingly, there have been many backend negotiations in regards to a formal public IEO. As you well understand, there are many offers to host CTSI on exchanges that we fill do not meet our or our communities expectations.

We will be revealing more information around CTSI, staking and more about the CTSI economy shortly. In regards to the 2 primary questions: Exchange and price, this will almost certainly release together on the same day. The reason being is due to again, the negotiations and expectations of the leading exchanges, whom have rigorous guidelines and diligence to follow.

The best information we can give at this time, is that the hardcap of Cartesi will be less than $10,000,000 (as denoted in this ANN), and the total supply is 1,000,000,000 CTSI. The circulating supply will be far less due to lockups, mining, staking and more that will be revealed.

We greatly appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and support. Your support means the difference when negotiating and displaying a well-versed team, marketing, development and more behind Cartesi.

We encourage you to ask any questions you may have in our Telegram group: https://t.me/CartesiProject
