61  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ? on: February 15, 2018, 11:47:22 PM
By 2018 is a good year for BTC and other cryptocurrencria. We will see amazing BTC prices this year. The price slump earlier this year is just a detection. I hope to be here to remind all of us at the end of the year we hopefully hopefully in this year BTC and bitcoin will rise again
There was a little bit of a dip, now the price is holding pretty nicely. There is more to go to $20,000.00.

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies - foundation for universal income. on: February 10, 2018, 11:11:48 PM
Elon said that universal income will come one day. I think crypto is leading us towards that. What do you guys think?
Universal income is one thing and Bitcoin is another, I am sure that the governments will make something else that will allow people to get paid every month like they are trying to do in Switzerland.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand the bitcoin boom? on: February 10, 2018, 11:11:17 PM
Despite the concern of regulators in all countries, Bitcoin is like a rising star in the financial markets, attracting much attention and curiosity, and continues its strong rise. However, some people may not know yet: what exactly is bitcoin? Why does anyone rush to it? How do ordinary people get and use bitcoin?
Some people already know how it works, that is why the price is being manipulated in this way. Bitcoin could be much more expensive right now.

66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Korea back on track on: February 10, 2018, 09:58:00 PM
Good news, it seems crypto in Korea is getting back on track, as Bithub managed to implement new KYC. Seems like beginning of something huge to me Smiley

https://www.coindesk.com/korean-exchange-bithumb-is-accepting-new-users-again/
That was a waste of time for them. Why did they try to get rid of Bitcoin in the very first place? FUD doesn't last that long if the coin is real.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin? on: February 09, 2018, 05:07:51 PM
Bitcoin is certified either by the world bank, as a consequence of its departure or hacking by blocking the government's approval and rotating it, which can not happen even if it can happen.
Where did you get the information that Bitcoin is certified by the world bank? Bitcoin is not certified as far as I know and it is not an official currency according to the IMF.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profit for one investor means loss to the other one? on: February 09, 2018, 05:06:20 PM
sombody has to pay fot ur profit i guess
Stocks and penny stocks feature the same system, the investor will usually win until there is no one around to purchase the coins anymore and the one left holding loses money.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at $20K ? on: February 09, 2018, 04:55:29 PM
I think we will see even better than the 20K very quickly Cheesy
That's what most people want, it could happen if there were less coins being traded on the markets.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🚧[BOUNTY]🚗FRAS COIN🚕OFFICIAL UBER, GOCAR PARTNER. MASSIVE ROI! on: February 08, 2018, 02:47:24 AM
If this is really working with Uber then this should do well in the near future.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could go down to $5,000 on: January 30, 2018, 09:38:37 PM
BTC could go down to $5,000. What do you think?
If it does go to $5,000 then there would be a lot of coins that people can purchase for a cheap price. There should be more holders then.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 30, 2018, 09:38:02 PM
Ethereum can rise to as much as $ 2,500 this year but the waves can be $ 200, which means more profit.
It can go past $5,000 with enough support from the Ethereum community. It's already $100.00 over $1,000.00
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: January 30, 2018, 09:37:14 PM
Stellar and Ripple , from the news I read, platforms from both coins will be adopted by many Banks, such as Stellar who has worked with IBM Blockchain..
Ripple is under $1? What happened to the price of it? There was a pump that pushed that coin to at least $1.19...
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: January 30, 2018, 09:35:38 PM
If you're using a hardware-wallet you should be safe.
If you're using MyEtherWallet you should read my thread about running it locally:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2822325.msg28909433#msg28909433

In general store all your coins in cold-wallets and keep your PC free from malware.
That won't be safe enough, there is a lot of unknown things that anyone could put in that wallet easily.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's in USA on: January 30, 2018, 09:34:57 PM
Although I know that residents of USA are restricted from participating in ICO's, I was wondering what exactly would happen if a USA resident does indeed go around it and still put their money into one. Would the SEC take the money, or what kind of consequences are there?
Can you have a VPN and invest in the ICO? I am pretty sure that would work if you live in the United States.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Net users as the new Threat? on: January 29, 2018, 10:34:42 PM
I think almost most of us already heard about the Bitcoin trader that was forced to give his Bitcoin over a gunpoint. It is quite scary that criminals are now also Bitcoin as their sort of "money" although it isn't stable to be. Now this made me think of something even larger that could possibly be a potential threat to  all of us. From government banning to these robbers, I'm starting to think that even those people dealing with illegal things from the dark net could be also the potential threat to all of us including those hackers that could just track you with your IP within seconds. I still don't have an experience touching the dark web, because it is really risky but I learned few things about it such as the Silk Market, snuff films, other things that are unimaginably messed up. Since Bitcoin is now growing and a lot of investors are already putting their money at risk in the cryptocurrency including all of us, will these people prove a real threat for all of us? I am not trying to raise a fear here, as I am just curious what could possibly be a threat for us aside from the government that tries to ban cryptos.

If you are not going there you have nothing to worry about. If you know how to secure and hide yourself searching dark web is not anything scary. If you don't search for shady websites nothing really can happen. This being said fiat is used for a lot of criminal activity as well and today we see that many markets accept there XMR because it offers anonymity, where as bitcoin fails to do so. Every transaction can be tracked on bitcoin as it is public which is why criminals would not really opt for it. You already have threats today, just make sure to take precaution measures to secure your self. Such as learning more about other operating systems and tools with which you can raise your security level a bit higher.

Problem is that you don't want to tell other people how much money you own. This is not the first case that somebody put a gun on one person because of crypto currency. There were these like cases in past. Same as you could end up being robed in the middle of the street and giving your wallet with fiat in it, forcing you to go to the bank and get the cash out for them - these things happen.

As it goes for "bad guys" you can look at recent data breaches and viruses that are showing up. You have prob heard of wannacry and petya which encrypts your hardrive and asks you for crypto money. Other things that we are seeing lately is virus-miners. As from technical side simply use systems that are more secure such as linux, don't put everything on your mobile phone etc.
That place is only safe if there is anonymity on the computer. By going there without staying anonymous then it brings risk to you and the other people.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Net Neutrality another unfortunate hurdle that BTC will have to overcome? on: January 29, 2018, 10:31:37 PM
Well, once the Net Neutrality should get destroyed, I can envision a scenario where as some point the Bitcoin network becomes inaccessible for most of mankind.
Bitcoin will still be available to use, someone will find a method to make Bitcoin exchangeable via Mesh.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Chinese Bitcoin Buyers Are Getting Around Government Ban on: January 29, 2018, 10:30:32 PM
I don't think the impact on Chinese bitcoin buyers is huge.
Now China's exchanges have moved abroad.
Chinese buyers only need to go to exchanges in other countries.
It's not, the China situation is only temporary. People in China should be able to trade with a VPN on their computer.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Phone scam selling Bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 10:29:35 PM
I received a phone call today from the UK number 020 7616 1383. I didn't answer as I was driving at the time.
I've checked the number through Google, and several sites report it as a financial services scam site that is attempting to sell Bitcoin.
Has anybody else had these types of call? I'm wondering how they got my number as well.
There's another thread with a user with the same thing happening on his phone. Someone is data mining.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: January 29, 2018, 07:37:10 PM
I will save 500k for security matter and invest the other 500k in altcoins like deeponions and decent or oyster pearl Grin
You might not have that 500k anymore if you invest in Deeponion or the other one. They will dump the coin when their campaign is finished.
