You've got great stuffs going on here. I like the idea and it looks really good. Instead of focusing on big profits and getting rekt, take a lil bit of risk and make 1% daily? Sounds like a good plan. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see your progress. I might join in along the way. Keep it up man. Kudos.

Learning to cut my bleeders was the hardest lesson I had.. Day trading has been way more profitable for me now that I'm focusing on small, incremental gains. Compound interest is the most powerful force in the universe!

Day trade is good now, or is just when market is more unstable ?

I know I'm just some random person on the internet, but trust me - there is tones of money to be made trading crypto. If you're looking for resources, lots of folks on this forum have given great suggestions. I would put forth an additional, slightly different, kind of resource: a group of traders to bounce ideas off.

One of the cool things with crypto is that the folks in the crypto space are generally pretty technologically savvy, which leads to some pretty cool opportunities.

I found a discord group that is super helpful when it comes to learning how to day trade, and I've seen tremendous success with them.

I want to try daytrading because as I see, just buying something and holding is not profitable anymore. I am not new in crypto, however never tried daytrading.
I plan to begin with a very small amount at first for practice and then increase with time.
Can you please suggest platforms and coins for daytrading? I need a platform which has a good android app to trade from my smartphone.

So i was thinking to test if technical analysis and trading strategies could be profitable with crypto. I would of course test everything with "virtual funds" first then move on to the real markets.

My question is where do i find the most trustable and high quality resources to teach myself? Are there any free or payed courses online? Maybe youtube channels or blogs that specialize in crypto trading?

Hi I am just new in the trading, I just want to ask how to overcome my fear in trading and what should I do to start trading. I also want to trade with a short term cause I need to earn daily for my daily needs can someone help me and give some that I used to start my trading now.

Uchiikina, you almost hit the nail on the head. It's not just fear you should be wary of, but it's emotions in general. If you want to start trading, you need to have a checklist and a set of rules. It also helps to be able to bounce your trade ideas off a group of like minded folks. I don't know how many times I've considered a trade, posted about it in the Discord group I'm part of, and had folks point things out that I missed and therefore saved me a bunch.

If you're curious, you're welcome to join us! The group is called Voodoo Crypto and the community is always happy to help out new traders. The success I've had with the group is unbelievable!

Right now is a great time to start day trading!

Obviously - don't risk more than 1-2% of your portfolio per trade. That doesn't mean trade with only 1-2% of your portfolio, that means don't allow any wrong trades cost you more than 1-2%.

I found a discord group that is super helpful when it comes to learning how to day trade, and they're willing to chip in their own opinions when it comes to long term trades as well.

Here is the link to the group I mentioned, if you're interested.

They're called Voodoo Crypto, and the "voodoo" is built on reading the depth charts.

I'm genuinely interested in the answer to the question posed in the title, "Why don't more people trade from the depth chart?"

I found a group of traders that do just that, and the success I'm having is pretty crazy. (The group isn't the point of the post, but I'll leave a link in the comment section if you are curious.)

The way I see it, the depth chart represents two things. One directly, which is the cost of what it would take to force the price one way or another. Obviously people pull their orders, or trade with themselves, and all sorts of other things, but in practice generally a good portion of the order-book is legitimate and intends to go through with that order.

The second is the sentiment surrounding the current price. Are people placing buys but changing their minds? Replacing them higher or lower? Are the sells starting to pile up?

It seems to me that the depth charts are ripe for "If you understand how humans operate, you can make a ton of money off it."

So far, it seems to be working.
